About this house rental
NEW kitchen cabinets and counters for 2023!! New patio with rock fire pit!
This beautiful house sits on a knoll providing gorgeous views of Cape Cod Bay (from three floors), pond and marsh. The third level open floor plan with kitchen, dining and living room opens up dramatically to the loft. This is the perfect place to get together with extended family, reunite with old friends, or have the wedding party stay to get ready for the wedding somewhere nearby (maybe at Plymouth Pawtucket/Plantation?).
We have decorated the house to make it feel like a vacation house-casual and comfortable. You won't feel like you are in someone else's stuffy home worrying about breaking an antique.
One of the many things that makes this spot special is that nature makes it feel like there is no one else nearby. You don't wake up looking into your neighbor's window (or them looking into yours!) There is plenty of space between neighbors.
Have you been to a rental and are disappointed when it is meal time and the whole group cannot sit together to eat? We can comfortably sit 14 adults together in the dining room (more people if kids use the bench).
Most anything you may need to create something delicious in the fabulous roomy kitchen is available for your use. New gas range and dishwasher 2020, new refrigerator 2023. The KITCHEN has been remodeled so come experience the new-ness in 2024!! Also we have enclosed the deck and lower patio-there are many sliding windows with screens for three seasons! The new deck has a rock fire pit with surrounding raised wall for seating. There are tables and chairs on the patio with umbrellas.
Pour yourself a drink and relax on one of the comfortable reclining blue cloth couches and watch the 55" HD TV with Bose sound system, or the lovely ocean.
Find the nook and curl up on one of the blue patterned upholstered chairs and read that book you have been meaning to get to!
There are 13 seats in the living room not including the 12 dining room chairs. There is now additional seating in the new additions!!
If you visit during an unusually hot week, you will be comfortable with the whole floor air conditioners and one in each bedroom! Otherwise, the cross breezes through the house from the open windows are refreshing.
Fire up the grill near the new outside patio. From the new enclosed addition look for the swans gliding on the pond and the herons fishing for their next snack! Listen and count how many bird songs you can identify! View the marsh where the birds are hunting for their next meal. Bring your binoculars for a better view!
Step outside and discover a wealth of nature! Walk a few minutes down the wide sandy lane, surrounded by blooming bushes, pass a bubbling brook and arrive at the expansive, private beach! We make it easy with a wagon, beach chairs, a child's beach tent, and plenty of beach towels. You will watch the ships and sailboats as they pass by. Bordering our private beach is the Ellisville Harbor State Park. Seals have been seen lounging on the rocks.
Imagine every bedroom having its own private attached bathroom and balcony-they do! Even the first floor, ground level suite (which has its own kitchen and living area) has balconies.
When you go away, is one of the hardships that the beds just aren't big enough or comfortable enough? We have four queens, a king, and two queen sofa beds (one of which we added a memory foam topper to the regular mattress) plus the three XL twins. Every one is deep and wonderful and FULLY MADE!
Comfortable bedding and plush bath and beach towels are included.
Lobstah and chowdah is so close!
There is plenty of room off street for cars (up to 10) including a perfect spot to park the boat!
There are many places within 20 minutes to shop for fashion, beauty, jewelry, electronics, sports items.
Also close are abundant restaurant and outside bars-when open.
You'll want to visit historic downtown Plymouth just a few minutes away. Take a cruise on one of the many themed cruises. Tour the Mayflower II with 'real' Pilgrims on board! Talk with the Native Americans at Plymouth Pawtucket/Plantation. Ride the Cape Cod Central Railroad for lunch or dinner.
Boston and Cape Cod are a short drive or ride.

The house was perfect for our multigenerational family! Everyone had their own space (and own bathroom). We spent most of our time on the second floor enclosed porch. The kayaking was amazing in the inlet and out to the bay. Debbie and Jack were great hosts—communication was quick and easy!

The views from the two porches and patio are beautiful and constantly change. We enjoyed all of the amenities which inckude the the hot tub, firepit, and a short walk to the beach. The house is well cared for and has spacious rooms for gathering with our loved ones.

Everything about this home was perfect for a family vacation. The location was very private and close to the beach and the view was beautiful! The hosts were exceptionally responsive and helpful throughout our stay and the house was fully stocked with bedding and kitchen supplies. The kitchen was equipped for preparing meals for a large family with seating for 12 in the dining room. The outside patio also has seating for 6 in addition to a fire pit and a hot tub. I would give it more than 5 stars if possible!

We had a wonderful family vacation at this beautiful beach house! Nine of us ranging in age from 2 to 80’s enjoyed all the amenities this home had to offer. We all loved having our own space while being able to enjoy each other’s company in the open floor plan of the main living area. All of us were able to sit together at the dining table for family meals that were made in the well appointed kitchen. 2 enclosed porches with wall to wall windows let in cooling breezes. The outdoor stone patio was perfect for relaxing in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows in the fire pit and soaking up the sun! Having direct access to the beach from the backyard was so convenient with 4 children in tow. The tidal pools at the beach were a big hit and the kids spent hours enjoying all the sea creatures and collecting shells. Having everything available that you would need for a day at the beach was a big help. Debbie was responsive to any questions we had and went above and beyond! So many fun memories were made!

We had a great time here celebrating my 50th w friends and family. It’s nestled in a really cool area near the ocean w nature. There were 7 of us total but could have fit many more. We walked to the beach, played cornhole/ping pong and even air hockey. We played golf at Waverly Oaks (nice course). Highly recommend this place for a getaway.

We spent 3 nights with 18 of us and had relatives stop by.
The house was well stocked and a great location. We walked down to the beach and enjoyed that.
Debbie is off the charts fantastic in her love and care of their property.
She was on top of every aspect of communication and responsive to our inquiries for where to play pickleball and etc.
Thank you for making our stay great!

So many things to love: porches off every bedroom, 2 of which were expansive screened spaces with views of the marsh and ocean; large windows allowing sea breezes in every room; very comfy beds, many bathrooms, linens included, a/c if needed. It is a chef's kitchen: both electric, gas stovetops, microwave, toaster, and 2 ovens, new looking appliances. The multi level home has stairs between each of the 4 levels, space to spread out or get privacy, and ample room for a small crowd. The quiet, private backyard has a firepit, three tables, and is surrounded by trees, bushes, bunnies and birds. The beach walk was about 5-8 minutes, the swimming was rocky underfoot but there is a sandy beach to sunbathe, and an estuary where the tidal current enters and exits the marsh. Great wifi, big screen TV, ground floor has a kitchenette. We jogged the beach and walked the surrounding roads, some unpaved, others with traffic. Watch for poison ivy. The owner was incredibly thoughtful and responsive, they go above and beyond to make you happy. They delivered a special beach chair for my elderly father and drove it to the beach within a half hour, and left us a blow up kiddie pool for the backyard. We had a large family of 16 people, ranging in ages from mid 80's to 2 yrs old, my father said it was the best week of the year.

We had a lovely time at this well-appointed home. Everything we could need was easily accessible in the home. Excellent shops were only a few minutes away. The beach, though too rocky to swim in, was so close and we really enjoyed our time there. Communication with the hosts was seamless, even when small hiccups arose during our stay. They were always attentive and responsive. It was an extremely humid weekend when our group of 15 arrived. The air conditioners were an absolute must! Only con to this amazing stay was the poison ivy that surrounded areas of the property. It made it a bit tricky for the kids to play around outside comfortably. Otherwise, it was a very memorable vacation. Thank you.

We traveled to New England for the first time as a large group of 17. The location was great. It was a short walk to the quiet beach where we played games and watched the seals swim. The view of the marsh and ocean was beautiful. The fire pit was great every night and lounging in the enclosed patio in the morning was so relaxing. Debbie was incredibly responsive. We had a great time!

Excellent venue for our reunion, which included a total of 30 family members, most of whom joined for a 6 hour event. Off street parking for at least 10 cars.
Owners were gracious and easy to work with.
Plenty of spaces and seating for people to gather and eat, nice view towards wetlands and ocean, well maintained, recently painted and refinished with new appliances.
Many of our guests complimented our choice of this facility.
Multiple levels presented obstacles for the oldest (80+) members of our group, with stairs required for all entertainment areas.

From start to finish, everything about this property met and exceeded our expectations. The time and care Deborah and Jack put into the home speaks volumes. They were more then accommodating with all of our requests and the house featured plenty to do with the rain washout of a weekend. Would definitely recommend to any large groups, you won't be disappointed!

This property was amazing! The house was very large, three stories with a full basement apartment, first floor 3 large ensuite bedrooms (Beds were really comfortable) and three single beds with a sleeper sofa on the top floor. Bathrooms on every floor. The view out over the marshes from the living room was breathtaking! The kitchen was fitted out with everything you could possibly need; even if you were having a banquet. Living room was tastefully decorated with very comfortable furniture and large enough for your entire group to sit together in. Massive dining room table accomodated all 10 of us easily. Porches off all the rooms and a large deck off the living room with that view. Big hot tub off the back porch. Fire pit. Anything you might want for a beach vacation was there. The grounds were well maintained. A short 5 minute walk brought you to a lovely beach or a trail through the marshes. The neighborhood was quiet and peacefull.
Deborah was an excellent Host/Owner. Her communications were on time and she was easy to get a hold of . She met me at the house and walked me through, explaining everything answering any questions. She checked back in with us halfway through our stay to insure everything was going well (It was).
Honestly, I have rented many properties through VBRO and other companies. This was by far the easiest process as well as the best property. Its your dream rental!

The owner is super easy to work with, and her home is huge, plenty of everything with easy access to where we golfed. Beach close by and hot tub was a relaxing treat at the end of the day. Views were spectacular of the water and wetlands around the property. We saw the ISS fly over twice on clear nights, too. Everything was so close to route 3, supermarkets breakfast, pizza joints and seafood places. House had all we needed with AC and nice breezes with lots of light and windows. Easy to cook in big kitchen and lots of room on big table to sit together.Thank you for a great stay.

Plenty of room for a 3-generation family of 10. Easy 5-minute walk to a private beach. Far enough away from the bustle and crowds of Plymouth Center, but great restaurants are within a 15-minute drive. Plenty of amenities including a hot tub, air hockey, ping pong, and a great TV.

This was our annual family vacation for 11 of us aged 8 to 69. The house was great with 4 bedroom suites with 2 additional bathrooms. Loft slept 3 of our crew and they enjoyed it. Kitchen was huge, spacious and well equipped with a kuerig and 2 more coffee makers. A short walk to the local beach that was never crowded. Knacks, beach chairs and a great deck + hot tub. Debbie our host was outstanding. We all had a great time and highly recommend this rental. 5 stars across the board.

Perfect! The house was just as it was described. We had enough bedrooms for our entire group. The 5min walk to the beach was gorgeous in the early morning. The view from the upper deck never got old - so much so that the tv was rarely on. Kids and adults loved the game shed and the hot tub for our evenings hanging out. Our hosts were fabulous - answered all our questions quickly and seemed to have thought of everything we needed to make this a temporary home away from home. Thank you! And would definitely recommend!

Great house for a large family.
We are a group of eight adults and four kids, and this house checked all the boxes for our family. The house is in a quiet private area, with the beach a five minute walk away, and a great location. It’s a quick drive to downtown Plymouth, and to Cape attractions. Debbie.is a fantastic host, very accommodating.

Large family vacation
Pros: Undoubtedly the best family vacation we have ever had! The property was an excellent location to the beach, close proximity to the village of Plymouth, and an easy drive to Boston. The kitchen/ living area was perfect! Large family table for dinners- there was also a smaller table that we used for games. The deck area was amazing and had incredible views. We used the hot tub every night and enjoyed that so much! Plenty of things to do but also excellent location to not do anything if you choose:) property owners are excellent and very attentive and checked in with us often via text.
Cons are not really cons- they are more things to note when you stay. The bottom level is like a small apartment which is where my elderly parents and aunt stayed. It was the perfect set up- the only problem was they had to come up to the third floor for the living area. My mom is limited in mobility so that was a tough task getting her upstairs every day. We walked around outside typically and took the deck stairs up and one walked in front of her and one walked behind her.

Recommend
Great host, great place! Very comfortable accommodations. Highly recommend to anyone staying with a large group. The only down side was that the walk to the beach was too far for the senior members of our 3 generational family group staying together. The beach buggy included with the house was a necessary and much appreciated amenity. The beach and water were beautiful, yet rocky and cold, which was no surprise for late June. We saw grey seals wading off the coast and lots of wildlife, such as nesting least terns and piping plovers. Kids had a great time catching critters in the tide pools and marsh inlet. We recommend this place and thank the courteous hosts for their friendliness and cozy accommodations.

Lovely place
We recently moved away from NJ to Texas and miss the beach so much. Cape cod was always on my bucket list but unfortunately while living in the north east never got a chance to visit. We were visiting my parents in NJ and decided to go on a family trip to Cape Cod. I looked up for accommodation and came across this place. We are so glad we decoded to go with it. Debbie is an excellent host. She met with us upon arrival and showed us around and made sure we were comfortable at checkin. She gave us excellent directions to the beach which was 5 mins away by foot. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. She even had a highchair for my 2 years old which make mealtime so easy. If you are looking for accommodation that comfortably fits 15-17 people and an excellent host who really cares for you to enjoy your stay then contact Debbie.

A lovely Memorial Day weekend
My fiancée and I gathered at Deborah’s property for Memorial Day weekend with a large group of friends to celebrate our upcoming wedding. It’s safe to say we all had a wonderful time! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we would ever need, and the view from the back deck was just stunning! We really enjoyed the short walk to the private beach and relaxing in the hot tub. Just a short drive away we’re plenty of spots to eat around Plymouth. 10/10 would go back again!

Deborah was a great host and the house was spectacular! She took us on a tour as soon as we arrived and answered all our questions timely. Relaxing Family Getaway with Everything You Need
We rented this property in Ellisville during April vacation and I am so glad we did! We have 6 kids ranging in age from 8 to 16 years old. There were so many places for them to explore, both in and around the home, and the loft was a BIG hit. The house is spacious, so everyone had their own place to hang out and the teens especially enjoyed having space to themselves downstairs. When they weren't playing hide and seek or hanging out in the barn, the younger kids played with the puzzles and games that were in the house. I was impressed with how clean the home was. We also appreciated how responsive the owner was. She was so laid back and helpful! Everyone loved the hot tub and the fire pit. We also walked to the beach several times during our stay which was nice. It is along a road that gets puddles/muddy when it rains so keep that in mind. We were fine walking in our flip-flops but I don't think a stroller would have done well. Currently (April 2022) there is construction due to a new home being built next door. The noise didn't disturb us at all. I never heard them before 8am, and they were always done by dinner. There are a few things that need to be updated/fixed in the home, like a drawer in the kitchen and a towel rack, but they are minor and we had everything we needed. The owner provided everything from linens to laundry detergent to spices. My favorite things: stargazing on the balcony in the loft, the view at sunset from the deck on the main floor, the steam room, and everyone having their own bathroom! I’m a very picky renter and I would love to rent this home again.
