A very peaceful and private getaway - Lovely cottage I was well taken care of. Beautiful view, just one of the skylights needs a blind and can let the morning in a little too early...!

Great cottage location, detached and overlooking a stables. It was great to sit and watch the horses in the sun from the lovely patio. The cottage is private and relaxing and has everything you need. Comfy sofa, excellent bed and enjoyed cooking in the open plan living area. So sad to leave we had an excellent trip.

Cosy, comfortable cottage.
Well thought out accommodation which was warm and welcoming on arrival. Collected key from a key safe on the wall, sadly never saw the owner/manager during our stay. Fantastic views from the downstairs window and from the outside decking. Parking a little way from the door and rather dark when returning at night. Well equipped for cooking with microwave, oven and hob but the markings on the hob had worn off so guess work as to which knob worked which hot plate and which direction was the hottest setting. No handbook for the microwave and the one for the cooker was hidden under the cutlery container. Enough crockery and utensils for our needs. We could have done with a dustpan and brush as we swept the tiled floor every day and had to get vacuum cleaner out when we could just have used the brush. Described as pet friendly but dogs not allowed on the grass outside so every time our dog needed a comfort break we had to walk her along the drive to the parking area. We only spotted the dog feeding bowl and poo bags when we went into the under stairs cupboard looking for a brush. Fortunately we had taken our own. Nowhere near by to walk our dog safely as a busy road was at the top of the access road without any pavements. The cottage served our purpose as a base from which to visit friends and family in the area and further afield.
