About this house rental
The Wilson Ranch is a modern log home built in 1960 but it has been kept up to be a comfortable and spacious retreat. You can also recognize this ranch from its brand 'Triangle Lazy V'. This log home resides in the beautiful Gypsum Valley (near Eagle, CO) and overlooks a working cattle ranch. The Wilson Ranch is a 3000 square foot picturesque log home that will truly help you feel you are in the heart of Colorado while still being close to grocery stores and amenities. In the ranch you can spread out and enjoy a large great room, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor fireplace deck, huge grass lawn and picnic tables, gas grill, foosball table, Dish TV, wifi and lots of space to enjoy with your family or friends.
You can have fun hanging around the ranch with recreational activities on-site: hiking, stream or lake fishing, stream-hike, or you are only moments away from some of the most breathtaking sights Colorado has to offer. It is also close to major ski resorts: Beaver Creek 25 min., Vail 35 min., and Copper Mountain 55 min. Other recreational activities you will find nearby: hiking, mountain biking, hunting, Glenwood Canyon Hanging Lake, Glenwood Springs (Olympic-size mineral pool, Glenwood Caverns, Amtrak train), Fulford Cave, fishing (lake and stream), Sylvan Lake State Park, zip line adventures, horseback riding, jeep tours and much more!
It is 3 miles to closest grocery store and only 2.5 miles from the international Eagle/Vail airport (EGE) where a car can be rented.

The views from the house are spectacular. Plenty of room for our family. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of space to cook. Craig was very kind and easy to contact with questions during our stay.

We stayed here for a family gathering and ski trip with 10 adults. Theirs not much more to say about the place that hasnt alredy been said! We had a great time, very clean and accommodating . I highly recommend this place for your stay in the area.

This is a wonderful house, the kitchen is beautiful and very well equipped. Large number of rooms, huge dining table, and great outdoor space makes this a great place for family. My family loved being here and wish we had spent more time just enjoying the time at the house. We enjoyed all the birds, and the sounds of the aspens.

We used this property as a place to stay after each day of activities revolving around a family reunion nearby. It was a comfortable place to come back to for relaxation and hanging out together. Craig, the property owner, was very friendly and easy to communicate with. We had a great stay there.

SO COMFORTABLE
Wilson Ranch is very comfortable, spacious and has everything you need. You really only need to bring food and clothes. It was so relaxing and fun. LOVED IT.

View was amazing!! This was so much better than a hotel I looked at. Rooms clean & spacious.
Everyone excited to arrive & no one wanted to leave. Children loved the evening board games. Everyone loved the kitchen & being able to eat all together. This is an excellent place to stay. We will definitely keep this one for another time.

Little slice of heaven!
What a little gem we found in Gypsum. The ranch was the perfect place for my family to get together. The house was spacious and well kept, with beautiful views. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and we love to cook. Great location for quick trips to Glenwood Springs, Vail, Aspen, and Breckenridge. Family reunion
The house was great and the only problems were getting I because vrbo send a bad code. We also locked ourselves out of a bedroom on accident and couldn’t find a key to open it. But the yard was great and it was the nicest place we have ever stayed as far as well equipped!! We hope to come back again.

Thanks for an amazing stay!
Perfect spot for our big family vacation! The space was just right for us. Kids had a great time running around, watching for wildlife and sleeping in bunkbeds. The deck in the aspen and the incredible views out every window were some of our favorite things. Thank you, Craig, for sharing your place with us! You made a vacation with 8 kids and 7 parents easy!!!

50th Anniversary celebration for our family!!
The home and property were perfect for our family. Plenty to do plus lots of living area to have fun. The large dining room table was a great place for all 12 of us to eat together. Great Place!!

We were at the ranch to celebrate my Fathers 80th Birthday. THye house was fantastic plenty of room for a group. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. Thank you for allowing us to borrow your beautiful home for our celebration.

Well-appointed home with lovely outdoor spaces and vistas, a kitchen worth cooking in, and plenty of space for our group of 13. We were there during the meteor shower and it was a treat for us city folk to sit out under the stars!

Another Outstanding Stay at the Wilson Ranch House
This is our second time staying at the Wilson Ranch House. The first time was back in July of 2015. This time, we were able to enjoy a family Thanksgiving together in this beautiful home. There isn't a single thing the Wilson family hasn't thought of to help visitors enjoy their time in Gypsum. As locals, my husband and I have really appreciated the opportunity to have friends / family visit us in Gypsum and have a place to stay close by. It is a house that comfortably fits a large group and is so well appointed that guests do not have to worry about a thing! Thank you, again, for opening up your house to us!!

A Great Spot to Spend Time in Colorado!
Me and 11 of my Ragnar Relay Race teammates rented this location for the Colorado Ragnar in August of 2017. The Wilson Ranch was well located for our purposes and in a beautiful area. The house was rustic without being run down and had gorgeous views from the deck and many of the rooms. The stars at night were a definate plus and the ranch is located just near enough to Gypsum and Eagle to access restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Just a fabulous place to spend some time, particularly if you are traveling with 10 or more people.

Wonderful, peaceful and perfect
Had our annual family getaway at The Wilson Ranch House July 29th through August 1st. We knew we picked the right spot Saturday evening when we all sat around the fire pit talking and laughing. Craig was so helpful, the house was just as advertised. Sitting on front porch drinking morning coffee and looking at the beauty was just what most of us needed. Thank You Craig Wilson for allowing us to share You home.

The Ranch House was AWESOME! Great views and very open and comfortable.
The Wilsons were quick to respond to any questions. The Wilson Ranch was perfect for us. We were there for my daughters wedding near by. The Ranch had plenty of space for family and friends to stay at for he wedding. It was very clean and had all the essentials. We loved cooking meals as a family and having the space to relax. Thanks Wilson family. We are hoping to return someday!

The Wilson Ranch is a great place for making memories!
We spent a winter-wonderland weekend at the Wilson Ranch house with our two sons and their families for an early Christmas celebration. The outside temperature dipped well below zero, but we were warm and cozy inside as we enjoyed this spacious house. Our grandkids all slept in the basement where they played foosball and darts long after the rest of us had gone to bed in the comfy kingsize beds on the upper level. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals for a large crowd and it was great that all 13 of us could enjoy eating at the long dining room table together. It's hard to describe the incredibly beautiful views from the large windows of the horses and cattle in the midst of the snowy pastures and against a backdrop of the snow covered mountains - so peaceful and serene. The ranch is surprisingly close to the town of Gypsum which means groceries and restaurants are easily accessible. We would love to stay there again during the summer so that we could take advantage of the outdoor deck and dining areas. Our grandsons climbed up the snowy ladder to check out the awesome treehouse, but it was just too cold to play up there during our stay! We made some happy memories being together and enjoyed every minute of being in such a comfortable house. And thanks to Craig Wilson for welcoming us so warmly with his emails and helpful information.

The house is in a great location providing a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, but is still close to town.
I have stayed in many time shares and never had a better experience than at the Wilson Ranch. Craig was very responsive to the few questions I had.
