We loved the closeness to historic down town. Loved seeing beautiful homes on our morning walks and the beaches. Family here from Ireland and montreal and us in NC. Only thing missing . A tea kettle for our " tea time" lol. everything truly was great! Would definitely recommend the cottage !

This is a wonderful home that has all the modern touches. The best perk = the screened in front porch. One suggestion, the living room furniture is a little uncomfortable. But we will be back!

We really enjoyed our week! Very nice place and so homey! Our little fur baby enjoyed being able to have the fenced in back yard to play in and laying under the fans on the screened in porch! Very quiet and peaceful!

This house is in a wonderful location to take advantage of historic Beaufort. A perfect walking area in a quiet neighborhood. The house has kept it's historic charm, and the owners have furnished the home with everything a guest needs to feel at home. Beds are comfortable, great appliances, and a good selection of kitchenware. The owners were quick to respond to a couple of concerns. The only downside for us was that the outside spaces could be made more inviting. Maybe provide a rake and an outside broom.

We three ladies stayed here while enjoying events at the Pat Conroy Literary Festival. The cottage was in a very convenient location for all events. It was clean and nicely stocked. The screened porch is delightful for morning coffee - birds and squirrels abound in and around the moss-laden oak trees. The back yard was fenced and secure for my little dogs. Just a side note - we did not see a single crawling critter in the house or porch over the 3 days we were there. We travel around a fair amount, and this was rare (and wonderful). We hope to return to this cottage for this annual Festival!

This home was charmingly historic but with modern amenities. With a nice screened in front porch, large backyard, living area and dining area, there was plenty of room for our group to enjoy each others' company. It was about a mile's walk from the downtown area though shady streets amidst beautiful buildings and cemeteries.
The hosts were very responsive and accommodating.

This property was exactly what we needed for our family of 5. There was plenty of room for us and our two dogs. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. We had a small issue with the living room T.V. The sound would shut off if we tried streaming Netflix. But it wasn't a big deal as we didn't visit Beaufort to watch T.V. We arrived earlier than expected and our hosts were gracious enough to allow us early entry to the home, which we greatly appreciated after our long drive. It was a wonderful stay, and we would book again.

We had a wedding in Yemassee & was told to stay in Beaufort. So glad we did because this house has more room than expected. The house has everything and more than you'll need from kitchen items, towels & linens, games & puzzles, and a great binder put together on recommendations or for everything else you may have questions about regarding the house & Beaufort in general. Very satisfied 😍

We prefer vacation rentals over a hotel, and this one might just be our very favorite out of all we’ve ever rented. Great accommodations and location. We hope to return soon.

We much appreciated this classic Beaufort house and its location in Beaufort. We have stayed in a number of places in Beaufort, Port Royal, and Hilton Head, and this rental in Beaufort was pretty much in line with what we expected based on past experiences. The screened-in front porch is the best we've ever had, and this was the first time we were in walking distance of downtown Beaufort. As usual, we found the Hargray TV system clumsy not particularly user-friendly. The kitchen was mostly fine, but there are no broiler or roasting pans. The living room furniture is remarkably uncomfortable. But everything else was fine, and we much appreciated the use of this house.

We were able to cook a full Thanksgiving meal for our family and have plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. It was only a 12 minute walk to downtown as well for Small businesses Saturday shopping! It was perfect.

I decided to book a home versus a hotel since we had more family/ friends to stay with us. We enjoyed our time together with my new Marine. It was definitely a surreal experience. The location was perfect to downtown which my sister enjoyed tremendously and close to the base to see my daughter graduate. The whole experience with checking in/ out as easy. Thanks to the owners for a great experience. It will defiantly be a memory I won’t forget.

We enjoyed our stay at this nice historic bungalow near downtown Beaufort. We were able to walk to the shrimp festival, restaurants and shops. Best of all we were able to bring our border collie. It’s quaint with 3 nice bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, dining area and kitchen. It also has a fenced in yard for your dog. It has 1 small TV in the front family room so we were able to watch football and soccer in between enjoying the wonderful town of Beaufort.

We enjoyed our short stay, as we were in town for our Marine’s Graduation. Close to the town and Parris Island. Very well equipped, except no hair dryer in second bathroom. Comfortable beds. Games, movies and books for you to enjoy. Screened porch is nice spot to relax.

We went up for my nephew’s graduation from Marine Recruit Training at Parris Island. What an adorable 100 year old home! The property owner was very helpful and kind. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. Hope to stay there again in the near future.

Excellent bungalow
The bungalow was lovely and slightly larger than I expected. We did some cooking and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for this. We loved sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch and were delighted to find the lawn chairs and beach mats which we took with us to the beach. The only negative was the refrigerator/freezer doors. When we opened the refrigerator door the freezer door also pulled open slightly and we had to keep checking that the freezer door was shut tightly; there needs to some adjustment done regarding these doors.

Cute and charming house
We were only in town for a marine corps graduation so we didn't get to spend much time at the house but wished we had more time to! It has many relaxing features and would be great for a little relaxing get away!

Great location location close to town
Property was clean and exactly as advertised. Great location close to historic downtown. Back yard is securely fenced for dogs. We walked most places during our stay and especially enjoyed evening walks in town along the waterside.

Beautiful Beaufort
Great area to visit and explore. House was very pet friendly as listed and a good home base for exploring. The cleaning materials used are very strong and bothered us during our stay.
