Location was beautiful. We went for airhouse and it was close to the venue. The spanish theme was kitch. The grounds were spacious and felt almost like an experience.
Shocked that everything was extra. Towels were small, as they gave only 1 hand towel per person. When asked about it, they said those were also for the body. If you want additional towels those are 500won each. Pool entry for the family was nearly half the cost of the room. And we still had to pay extra for beach towels (4,000won each) and plastic seats (10,000won each). Beach was private but closed in the evening and could not be accessed until 9am. Overall we would never go back. Staff was cold lacked service. Check in was smooth but late checkout costs 15,000won or more for 30min late checkout. Bummer. Could’ve been a better experience with better management.

The location, just by the beach.
Noisy neighbours, outdated facility & high cost.

the view from the hotel room was just as we expected, the private beach was small but it was nice to have a beach right at the hotel so that there is no need to go somewhere else again for a drive. there are free drinks and snacks in the minibar, and the staff was a also really friendly.
first of all, there was a dirty sock still in the room when we checked-in, a little hidden by the covers of the bed, so i am not quite sure how throughly they clean the rooms. there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom, there was mold by the sink too. so all in all it was not that clean, the whole building and the interior are also really old and worn down. overall i wouldn't say that it wasn't a pleasant stay, the view and location made up for the lack of cleanliness, but it was definitely never worth the 350,000KRW we payed for one night. At the hotel beach, they request 70,000KRW and up (between 70$ and 200$) for the sunbeds & parasol (which is between 10-20$ at public beaches nearby). Given that you already spend so much for the room itself and that it is a private beach solely for hotel guests, another disappointment. I would not come back again for another stay, and I would not recommend it. There are way better options at the east coast than this.

The Sol Beach YangYang is like a little holidays city, it has restaurants, cafes, supermarket, beach, swimming pool, ATMs, arcade, even a karaoke room. The room was really spacious and comfortable. There's also a huge parking lot to leave your car if you drive there. The staff was friendly and efficient.
The indications on how to arrive to the check-in point could be improved.

Very good
One night was not enough

The shower in our room was broken and would not spray from the main showerhead. It made it hard to relax. Truthfully, we didn't ask for it to be repaired, because we didn't want to deal with having a maintenance person in our room. Simple things like having fixtures functioning, is an expectation, and in this case ours were not met.
The pool was shown in the advertisement but you had to pay to use it. And it wasn't a small 'convenience fee' rather it was a large fee that approached what we paid per-night for our stay. We expected to pay to use the pool, but did not expect the fee would double the cost of our stay with 5 people.

Nothing
It was very dated and awful.
No social distances at all.
Over priced. Noisy from the machine outside
I booked for a hotel but it was self-catering which was awful.

Convenient as well located nearby Seoraksan and Surfing beaches
Very old, room are ugly, windows very dirty, not much to do in the resort, work in progress with noise every morning at 7:50am, impossible to turn off the heating system. Do not stay there as this hotel need a full revamping. You also need to pay extra charge if you want a room with sea view which was not mention on Booking.com.
