Building lobby is super nice and clean.
But the room and corridors have weird fishy and sewage smells.

Assigned to another tower which had to be accessed in a separate lift

The property is one out of three hotels in shinhwa area. The place is lively and has plenty of restaurant and shopping options, specifically in Jeju where most activities close early. Would recommend.

The staff were amazing and lots of food selections. The food was great. The rides were good just wished there were more and to include rides for little ones or even maybe a play park. There are rides for adults but they are so far apart from each other it makes the amusement Park feel empty not sure what this is about. The hotel was clean and I loved the public restrooms more than my own private restrooms. The food was good. Just seemed very expensive. For two adult one child we are upstairs buffet because when we went it was the only one available and the buffet in the main shinhwa resort didn’t open yet. To eat there we paid about 100$ for two child ate free I believed I’m not sure mind you he is 18mos so just know it was expensive after five days we did only eat at the buffet resort only three times everyoother time we had something different and the food was good.
The hotel rooms had no air conditioning and the walk to the room from all the amenities is very very far almost discouraging to even leave the room also nothing opens before 9 everything opens at 9 or 10 why so late my whole day is now gone to use a gym that opens at 9 or a kids park at 10 the i now have to pay for. Another reason I’d recommend no one stay here is cause nothing good comes with the room beside free parking the gym 50$ a day the pool for two adult one child 50-75$ water park tickets and only indoor portion mind you also 50$ and then there was this party that start at 9 and ended at 11 at a FAMILY RESORT! By the time kids sleep or you can go out it’s already almost 10 and last call drinks are 1030-1045 and to get in per person 50$ for three hours yeah no. Wouldn’t really recommend mainly to because the air conditioning and everything was closed mostly to include outdoor pools. Also the shopping is high end like who is ganna buy that shit? This is a family resort or at least geared forwards it put a h&m ??? Or something doesn’t make sense. Also those stores don’t open till 10-11 and half of them don’t even open. The small city next to the hotel needs work it’s so empty feels just like unfinished work down there. Nothing geared for late night party or adults getting out for a vacation and drinks more like go to your rooms by 11pm. Come out at 10. Last but not least the rooms only have one trash can and god forbid you brought your family who wear diapers and you’re a women who is on your period. There is no trash bags or even trash cans around the buildings we found ourselves holding trash and taking it to the room just to put it in the one trash bin on the balcony because we don’t want trash smelling room since there was no ac . The five minute firework show was pretty entertaining I did get sad perhaps I expected more based off the pictures of advertisements and that’s not what I got so seemed like a rip off in the end.

Great price and value. Lots of f&b choices and deals. The overall experience was excellent.
However, the rooms were quite hot and dry. Even after turning down the heating it seemed to automatically turn up again.

they gave us free tickets to the theme park which we didn’t expect.
we requested for late check out and got a flat no. I thought such a big resort could have done better.

Lots of space, modern and comfortable accommodation and good breakfast. Free access to 3 rides in the theme park. Good selection of restaurants and cafes on site
Breakfast was expensive for what it was, lots of hidden extra costs - no pool (you have to pay extra to use the Marriott’s pool next door), the water park wasn’t open in full (lots of slides closed) but still charged full price - have to pay extra for life jackets to use some of the water park attractions

Location was far from any Hiking trails. It is more suitable for family's. U have to pay extra for every thing . Even for the gym . Which is not expected from a 4 stare hotel .

The whole complex at Shinhwa is great. Something for everyone and in a good location to visit other attractions in the West End of Jeju. Great staff and wonderful experience.
The cost for breakfast and dinner at the Hotel's restaurant is excessive.
