About this cottage rental
Boater's heaven--Lots of dock with large shady back yard, fish cleaning table, charcoal grill. Completely remodeled--thanks to the hurricane!! Screened porch, large kitchen with all amenities, Master bedroom with king size bed and full size Futon. Second bedroom with Queen size bed and queen size bed in loft. Bathroom with shower and tub. Second bathroom. Washer and dryer located in second bathroom.

I just stayed with my husband and three year old daughter. The house was clean and cozy and we had the best time sitting on the dock relaxing and fishing.

Perfect location! Hop on your boat on the back dock and you are minutes from the river. As soon as you exit the peaceful canal, head west to the Gulf or east to the springs. The canal is great for sup's or kayaks too. The area is very peaceful - at the end of the canal, so almost no boat traffic. House is quaint and well appointed, kitchen is big and perfect for family dinners of fresh fish and scallops! Owner was always very quick to respond. All good things! We loved it and plan to come back next year. Thank you!

We used the dock for our 25' boat. We used the kayaks as well. House is clean. Communication was good with owner. We enjoyed our scalloping trip.

Enjoyed a quick stay (2 nights) at this clean and well outfitted home in a great location on the water. The owner is very nice and made an effort to make sure everything was good for us. I highly recommend this property and will definitely be back!

This was a lovely place to stay. My kids enjoyed fishing off of the dock. It was close to everything. Everything went seamless and we had a relaxing few days!

This was our 4th year returning as a family of 5. We love the location and home. We are always comfortable here! Beds are comfortable, location is quiet and beautiful. Everything was clean and well kept. Our kids had fun fishing off the dock and catching minnows. And of course we had an awesome time scalloping! We always look back with fond memories as a family here. We are so grateful to Cindy and family for hosting! Thank you for another wonderful year!

1 bedroom and bathroom on opposite sides of house. Perfect for 2 separate families. Each bedroom can sleep 4. Very clean. Lots of counter space in kitchen. Openness of living room into kitchen is great.

This house was perfect for us. Plenty of dock space for 2 boats. Nice hangout out side by the dock. Close to the restaurants and bars. We will definitely be back. The house was great.

We love to come here and fish the Homosassa. Quick ride out, great dock, and cleaning station. The house is clean, comfortable, and perfectly located on the river.

My husband and I visited Homosassa for a 2-night stay at this property. I've been visiting Homosassa annually for at least 25 years and wanted to stay in a home along the canal versus a hotel so I could feel the essence of Homosassa. Though we had no manatees in our canal, it was everything I thought it would be - tranquil, quiet, and lots of beautiful birds. The location was ideal - we were mere minutes from the State Park and close to great restaurants and shopping (from artisans to grocery stores). We enjoyed the VRBO - the place was clean, spacious, and the kitchen very inviting with a wonderfully large kitchen table (would be great for a big family). The bed was awesome - I have a tempur-pedic at home and this rivaled that easily. We had a few issues with the rental due to a previous thunderstorm (cable and TV out) but the host was responsive, easy-to-reach at all hours, and did everything in her power to alleviate the problems. That was a real plus and greatly appreciated by us. Because of this, we wouldn't hesitate a second to do VRBO with Cindy again. She is a terrific host, honest and reputable. I've stayed at other VRBOs around the country, but she by far has been the best host I've ever encountered and that is a huge plus and asset to this property.

Ended up staying at the home next door to this original property, as there was a maintenance problem. VRBO owner owns all three properties. Very nice appliances and everything you will need to cook meals. We were able to use the on-property fire pit.

We came for the last day of scalloping. The house was in a great location close to restaurants and nightlife. House was clean, well stocked and in a great location - end of a quiet canal. The dock and screened patio were great for hanging out. Easy ride out to snorkel. We had a Great time

This was our 3rd year back, we enjoyed every minute. It was peaceful and relaxing, rental had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. Cindy was very accommodating and helpful.
We are grateful and had another year of good family time, scalloping and enjoyed surrounding nature. Looking forward to returning!

Even so, our family (with our adult children) made the most of it and truly enjoyed the area and kayaking! The home had everything we needed and was so peaceful. We enjoyed our brief stay at this charming little cabin on the water. On both sides of this cabin were properties owned and occupied by members of the family that owns the cabin. They were delightful and helpful, directed us to the kayaks and life jackets and gave us tips about the area. We did have a small blip- when we arrived late at night the beds had been stripped and the cleaners hadn't come, but the host made it right by covering the cost of our first night and the cleaners came the next morning. The landscaping was beautiful and the setting serene. I just wish we could have stayed a little longer! If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back!
