Property was exactly as described. Very tranquil. Close to all the things we wanted to do. Charlotte is the best hostess. So kind, generous, and welcoming! And the cute goats next door were a bonus. Highly recommend.

Very quiet and convenient for us to attend our son’s wedding a few miles away. Cabin was very clean, has AC which was important as it was above 90 degrees on our arrival. It is in rural Willamette valley so attractions like wineries are scattered about but many within 7 miles or so. Great place and we highly recommend

This place is beautiful inside and out! With comfortable furnishings and bed, the shower was great, well equipped. The owners are very welcoming. So far on our bucket list trip from Ohio hanging with Val was the highlight of our trip! He didn’t intrude we invited him as I love to share my homemade wine. So the patio was perfect. I was so beat after hiking Silver Falls State Park the next day that I was sad we didn’t get a chance to say thank you and goodbye in person. Thank you Charlotte & Val ❤️

Beautiful acreage with roses of various colors along with other flowering trees. Brick covered patio out the door for opportunities to enjoy the view and sounds of the country. We stored about 12 early music instruments safety on this patio overnight. A gorgeous place! Inside nicely appointed, comfortable, cozy. NICE! The name fits! A site where one wants to return again and again!
Create a contest for descriptive adjectives: peaceful, rejuvenating...and the hosts are a joy to meet.
Great for 2 people and a dog!

Everything about our stay was perfect. Thank you Charlotte for providing such a lovely home-away-from-home!! We look forward to our next visit and will be planning our next trip to Oregon around availability of your property! It's just so beautiful we didn't want to leave. We fell in love with it!

Hosts offer great communication and are very responsive. Very comfortable home. Cozy wood fire stove. Very pretty setting. Out of town, but there’s a little market right down the road and plenty of restaurants within a few miles.
Enjoyed our stay.

This October was our third stay! The Cozy Bungalow meets our needs and wants. The location is just south of Canby Oregon, nestled among filbert farms. We prefer a quiet, private, restful, easily accessible, location. This VRBO meets and exceeds same. The hosts have a gorgeous property and encourage guests to roam and enjoy their lovingly created, now mature, arboretum. We are able to visit with our grandkids and take nice walks while they run and explore. Val & Charlotte are the most kind and amiable of hosts. We enjoyed morning tea outside under a covered portico. The same comfy chairs were also nice for enjoying a glass of wine at the end of the day. We look forward to visiting again in the future and encourage others to experience this beautiful, very spacious, and charming cottage and setting!

Very nice getaway. Quiet. Country living and close to the town of canby and other activities provided by country living. Creamery, winery, roadside produce, eggs and fruits. Good Thai and Mexican restaurant in Canby and 30 minutes from Oregon City with more to do.

a really cozy inviting cottage on a lovely property. Charlotte is a great host! It was a great place to work remotely from for my extended stay. Lots of windows with pretty views in the living room and the patio was wonderful to sit and enjoy the greenery. It is very thoughtfully decorated with some wonderful books on Oregon and the west. Everything I could have wished for to be able to work remotely with no issues and spend time with my daughter before she is off to college.

Charlotte and Val's Bungalow is a wonderful place to rest and re-charge. The 10-acre property boasts lovely roses, fruit trees and native plants to wander through on a summers evening. We hope to return soon.

A cozy cottage hidden away in hazelnut orchards. Very roomy and clean. It had everything we needed and then some. The property itself was like a botanical garden. Very tranquil and relaxing. We look forward to visiting again.

Our stay at cozy bungalow was amazing. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed walking around among the trees and flowers! A very beautiful, restful place. We will definitely stay there again if possible.
The hosts, Val and Charlotte, were so accomodating and friendly! We loved our stay! The only negative thing I have to say is that our stay was too short!!!!!!!

It was peaceful, quiet, and homey. Charlotte took time to introduce herself and tell us where the laundry facilities were, and extra chairs for the dinner we hosted for our family in the area. We really enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed at this property a couple times, and are currently planning our next stay. The property is quiet and located among filbert/hazelnut farms. This includes 10 scenic acres to wander while appreciating the diverse arboretum created by the owners. The rental is spacious, well stocked, and quite comfortable. Ideal location when traveling with your dog/s as they can roam and not be routinely upset by foreign noises. You won't hear horns honking, sirens, traffic, or yelling neighbors. You will enjoy a relaxing, beautiful, and calm setting with easy access to the offerings of the mid Willamette Valley. The hosts are lovely people whom we are looking forward to seeing again next year!

We had just checked in and on the way from the grocery we were involved in a car accident. One of us was ok but the other had to stay two nights in the hospital in Portland. Charlotte was a comforting host in telling my husband she would pray for us during a scary time and offered assistance. All prayers were answered with the 3rd day out of the hospital and to see a wedding. The place had everything we needed & could not have asked for more. The greeting from a goat one morning was a welcome distraction and a good photo to see while recovering. Highly recommend this place to anyone coming to the area. And just in case you need medical care, you will find it to be top notch too!
Thanks so much to a great host.

I had a wonderful stay in this charming bungalow. This place is a peaceful, comfortable, affordable little gem nestled on 10 lovely acres of forest and field. Charlotte and Val were so friendly and welcoming—making sure that I had everything I needed, inviting me to enjoy their beautiful property (including delicious fresh plums, blueberries and gooseberries!), and being very tolerant of my large goofy dog. This was exactly the break from the big city that I needed, and I will definitely be back!

This was our second stay at this peaceful cottage. After staying here for two months in the spring of 2021, we were anxious to come back for a weekend. Everything was just as we remembered it and we were so comfortable in this relaxing setting.

Cottage
Cute cottage with a full kitchen and bath.
My only complaint is that we think it needs to be updated. Had a musty smell . The mattress topper was not comfortable. The air conditioner was real noisy.

This property is excellent. Quiet, peaceful and easy to and from Canby city center. Was in town at a dog show and the dogs enjoyed the trip and stay as much as I did!!

Peaceful Oasis
We loved the Cozy Bungalow! The location was peaceful, relaxing, physically lovely surroundings, spacious, very dog-friendly, clean, well-equipped, and offered easy access to everything we needed and wanted to do in the local area. Unlike a hotel, this location offered us the opportunity to visit with us on-site. We were able to quietly/happily reconnect with friends/family privately, instead of having to drive all over the area dragging our dogs along trapping us all in the car. The hosts could not have been more kind or concerned about our enjoying the location and having a successful experience. The bungalow is nestled in the midst of hazelnut farms, tall trees, and visual splendor. The hosts love of flora & fauna is well evidenced in the dedicated care of their property. Any future return trips to visit our Oregon roots, will be scheduled around the availability of this VRBO. The rental price is of tremendous value as well. Best bang for your buck ever, so to speak.

Beautiful Country Stay
This was a great place for our anniversary get-away! It was close to where we wanted to be and couldn't have been on a more beautiful piece of property. I would highly recommend this space for a couple or small family that wants something a little more cozy and unique than a hotel room.

The best of farm and small town living
Wonderful secluded property close to town. Beautiful and enchanting small farms scattered far and wide. Mount Hood is a stunning site just outside your window. Close to Silver Falls State Park, which has spectacular hiking trails and views of ten waterfalls. Nearby small towns to explore and enjoy. I would stay here forever if they would let us!
