The neighborhood is lovely and the condo has a beautiful view of the water. Ron is a great host and made check in and out easy. I was sad to leave! I look forward to being able to stay here again. The waterfront was only five blocks away Walmart was only 2 mi away the air conditioner was awesome. The balcony was safe for our 2-year-old granddaughter. We would definitely stay there again. … can we return?! We found this property clean, comfortable, quiet, and exactly as advertised. It was convenient to all we wanted to do during our time in Tacoma. Getting ourselves off that balcony was our hardest job of the day. Ron was an excellent, attentive host! Thank you!!

Fantastic stay at FantasticStays!
The property was amazing! Ron was very responsive for anything we needed or questions we had. When we arrived the garbage can was broken, I texted, and two days later an Amazon box arrived. The neighborhood is great as well. The hills are no joke and not for the faint of heart. Other than the hills, the view is beautiful, its a just a short drive to Ruston waterfront and Point Defiance. I'm looking forward to our next trip so we can stay at the condo again!

Great location to explore Tacoma
Our family (4 adults) stayed at Ron’s Elmwood condo while visiting family who live nearby. Location is perfect—quiet neighborhood with easy access to all of Tacoma areas. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony with its water view and sunsets. The kitchen was missing a few items but Ron was very responsive. We look forward to staying there again.

Vandalism common.
Our car was broken into and received damage that needed repair. It was a huge inconvenience to arrange and get the repairs. We were told by a neighbor this happens all the time around here.

Would stay again!
Everything was great. Extremely easy, communication was amazing! The neighbors were a little loud, but the condo and the owner could not have been any better! Definitely would stay again!

Great location and view!
We have stayed in several of the units in this building and you can't go wrong with any of them. Always super clean and well stocked. The view from the Sea View is so pretty and relaxing. Our kids go to UPS and it is just a short drive or walk to campus. Close to Ruston and all things Tacoma. We will be back.

Excellent place to stay
We arrived in town at an odd time, but the check-in process was flawless and seamless. Even though I never contacted Ron or his staff personally, he was very quick at replying to e-mails and text messages. The place was spic-and-span when we came, and it was easy to handle. Anything a family may need was supplied before our arrival (coffee, dishwashing soap, body soap, shampoo, conditioner, cleaning supplies, kitchen utensils), and all the appliances worked well. We had a superb experience and if our trips take us back to the Pacific Northwest, we will try to stay here again.

Second stay while visiting grandchild.Exactly as described
Attractivel modern furnishings plus condo is roomy and extremely well equipped. Large windows with great views.
Kitchen has all you need for cooking in....even supplied with complimentary morning coffees and some spices! Had family over for breakfast.
Sleeping accomadations were comfortable. Jacuzzi was appreciated although some may find stepping into it for showering to be a challenge. I believe there are units with walk in showers in this complex as well
Safe, mostly high end residential neighorhood, We walked to a nearby micro brew pub for lunch and continued to a Safeway grocery store with a $7. Return Uber.
No step entry with well lite covered parking although i have discovered that with an inexpensive door to door Sea-Tac airport and Uber servive we didn't need a rental car while in Tacoma.
Great hassle free accommodation for us oldsters visiting family!

The hot water heater went out. No fault of the property owner, but we couldn’t shower.
This property had been excellent. This water problem was an unfortunate fluke.

Great location with amazing view!
This property is in a safe and quiet neighborhood. There is an awesome view of the sound from the balcony. The condo is tastefully decorated and equipped with anything a traveler would need. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tacoma.

Wonderful place. Quiet neighborhood. Had all the amenities one could possibly want, even coffee,
We enjoyed the place. It was spacious, clean, had everything anybody could ask for. Ron was wonderful in helping us around, making suggestions and taking care of things ASAP like a burned out light bulb. We enjoyed the fire place and the balcony. Can highly recommend it and would stay there again.

Such A Great Place!
What a gorgeous old neighborhood! And a wonderfully comfortable and well-appointed condo! This was the perfect home base for my teenage grandson and I to explore some of Tacoma’s enjoyable offerings, including Point Defiance Park, Zoo and Aquariums; the gorgeous waterfront; the Glass Museum; and a Simpsons exhibit at the terrific Tacoma Art Museum. Ron’s recommendations for restaurants and markets were spot on. I’ve never experienced a more thorough host with greater communication before, during and after our stay. looking forward to a longer stay next time!

Great Location, Great Views, Great Stay
We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The owner was very responsive and really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. The condo was extremely clean and well kept. And the view was super. The location was perfectly situated for us, not too quiet and not too loud. We were able to take some nice walks and even walked to dinner one night. And my boys loved that the lime bikes were close enough to grab and go all day long. Overall, I would highly recommend this place and look forward to staying here again the next time I am in Tacoma. PS, it was really nice having a washer/dryer in the unit.

A great cozy place to stay!
We had a great time staying at Ron's place. The condo was very clean and comfortable. Directions on how to use different appliances were helpful along with the great suggestions for restaurants and groceries nearby. Location was easy to find and neighborhood was peaceful and a great area just to walk around in.

The condo was in a great location for all our Seattle area adventures!
We selected this unit for location to Olympic National Park, Mt Rainier and Seattle. It served us well for all and the unit was spacious, clean and comfortable for the little amount of time we were actually there. We appreciated that the hosts had it well stocked so we didn’t have to run out for the basics. Great WiFi signal and easy access and no problems with parking. Ron provides tips for the area which is surrounded be beautiful homes and was it was easy to get around.
