Casa Vina is perfectly situated for those who want to enjoy the best of both wine-country worlds. When you are at the casa, it feels like you’re in a rural sanctuary “far from the madding crowd.” Yet the bustling Sonoma Square is just a few minutes away by car. This charming farmhouse is in such a bucolic setting and is so cozy and peaceful and fully appointed that you almost don’t want to leave to visit the marvelous wineries that draw people from everywhere to the area. The good news is that all the delights of both Sonoma and Napa are easily accessible. You can enjoy them during the day and come “home” to relax in comfort, either outdoors or in, during the evenings. What more could one want? The little casa is as pictured and described, clean, artfully decorated, and comfortable. Denise was lovely to work with and a good time was had by all of us who stayed in her “happy place.”

Awesome property! Home is amazingly decorated, super cute retro kitchen, every amenity that you might need is there. Comprehensive catalog for anything you may or want to do in the area, dining, shopping, bike riding wine tours with trails and wineries in the area.
Denise, a great hostess and property manager. Would highly recommend. The only thing I would just want to point out, that the 2nd bathroom (beautiful and updated) is in an unattached building from the home. No heat in that room that we could find, and only 11 minutes of hot water, so during winter months was unusable for our family from San Diego and not used to really cold toilet seats!
We are looking forward to booking again in summer or fall to take full advantage of the outdoor property.

The property is even better than the write up and the reviews. From the time you pull up to the time you leave It’s fantastic. My wife was blown away.
The beds are comfortable and the home is extremely clean and the bikes are great. It’s a short easy ride into town. The fire pit made the nights comfortable and Morgan the donkey was the best.
The restaurants are all great. Especially Wit and Wisdom. Swiss hotel, Della Santina, Red Grape and Hop Monk.
Denise was extremely helpful with providing information all around. The resources were helpful. I found a host to set up tasting and to take us to the vineyards. Well worth the money. We will certainly be back. Thank you Denise!

Charming Cottage Retreat
Casa Vina was a wonderfully peaceful place to stay while visiting Wine Country. My husband and I spent 5 nights there with close friends. The owners have thought of everything to accommodate guests. There are several areas to sit and relax while enjoying the surrounding scenery. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals and the bath has super soft towels. We especially enjoyed the front porch table, fire pit, and sound bar in the living room. We all appreciated the notes/labels as reminders while staying in such a clean and lovely home. Of course, we all enjoyed visiting Morgan, the donkey next door.

Best Girls Trip location
This beautiful home was the perfect location for our Sonoma girls trip for 6 of us. Our first impression driving up was wow, prettier in person!
We loved this well appointed home having everything we needed. We enjoyed the very comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, slippers and robes for everyone, fireplace blankets, coffee and even a welcome bottle of bubbly with a sweet note. The house notes and book in kitchen to answer any questions was very helpful.
Denise was the perfect host, quick to reply and always so personable which made us all feel welcome. She sent us an extensive list of things to do and the several we did were fun! The bike wine tour(without bikes), short but pretty Sonoma Overlook trail and fun Sonoma Wine Shop wine tasting were all perfect.
Feeding Morgan, the neighbors friendly donkey, carrots each day was super fun! Don’t miss doing that.
It was nice to have 6 comfy chairs around the fire pit to sit in the evening and chat We all talked about how great it would be in warmer weather as there were so many outside sitting areas, horseshoes, games, outdoor dining table and amazing views all around. We didn’t use any as it was so cold but were impressed with everything available to us. We never used the bikes but that would have been perfect as they have 6 of them.
We wish we could have stayed longer. We would highly recommend staying here.

THE MOST AMAZING VINEYARD RETREAT!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this house. I would live in it full time if I could!
It is nestled between beautiful vineyards, and only 9 minutes from the Sonoma Plaza. We had three couples in our party, and it was very comfortable. The indoor space is cozy, and the outdoor seating areas are what Sonoma dreams are made of.

Great Girls’ Getaway!
This property was adorable! We truly loved the ambiance of this place. When I asked for suggestions for our trip, she sent me a long list of great suggestions that we used! Denise was very quick to respond to an issue we had at the house and was quick to resolve. The weather was cooler than normal and a little rainy when we were there, so we did not take the bikes out and ride to wineries like we hoped. Next time for sure!! Loved saying hi to Miss Morgan and feeding her carrots before we left!

Picture perfect in Sonoma County
We met two other couples for a weekend in Sonoma to catch up and do so while enjoying wonderful wine, scenery and food. We barely needed to leave the house to do that (but forced ourselves to :-)). We absolutely enjoyed the yard with it's own little vineyard and the animals next door. Morning bike rides to get eggs from the neighbor or to grab a few things from the market or morning runs enjoying all the nearby vineyards and mountains in the distance. I was a little worried about how the outdoor bathroom would work, but it was not problem at all. The men used that one and us ladies used the indoor one for getting ready. Our last night we enjoyed a grilled dinner at home on the front porch, with all the candles lit...and mornings or evenings were spent on any of the outdoor seating options with the provided blankets. Great stay - we hope to return!

BEYOND WONDERUFL
My family of 5 stayed at Casa Vina and we can say WITHOUT A DOUBT.... this was the best vacation rental we have EVER stayed at! (and we travel A LOT) Denise was an amazing host. So helpful in planning our trip. She made suggestions of places to go that most tourists don't know about which really made our trip unique (no crowds or noisy tasting rooms.) The house was ULTRA-CLEAN, uncluttered and such a great place to unwind, coming from our hectic lives back home. Did I say the house was ULTRA-CLEAN ?! ") I really appreciated this because I have asthma.
It's obvious she puts a ton of pride and joy in offering her guests the best possible home away from home. Even the grounds are awesome. She's a designer by trade and it certainly shows. I wouldn't hesitate to refer Casa Vina to anyone wanting exceptional accommodations in Wine Country. Oh...the bikes were so fun and visiting the donkey Morgan was our morning highlight. We rode into town and loved that the bikes had baskets! The only thing I suggest is you book a few extra days because there is so much to do in Sonoma you'll need more than a weekend to see it all!

Sonoma couples trip
We just got back from Sonoma and a stay at this home. We loved it! The house is clean and comfortable. The host was very responsive and very helpful! We had no trouble getting Uber or Lyft rides from this location, just 5-10 minutes from downtown. We liked having a peaceful place to relax in the evenings with a glass of wine, enjoying the perfect weather.

Our stay at Casa Vina was over the top...the absolute BEST house we've ever rented! Such a treat to arrive to a fantastic bottle of wine and chocolate! And waking up to amazing Vineyard views was truly heavenly. The location is perfectly located close to gorgeous wineries, hiking trails and super close to the Sonoma plaza where we had several excellent dining experiences. We loved La Salette restaurant, Girl and the Fig restaurant and Sigh Champagne Bar at the plaza!
We had the most amazing mobile masseuse come to the house for massages! We went with all of Denise's recommendation and even booked an amazing full day private wine tour for the 6 of us with dinner overlooking the whole Sonoma Valley. Enchanting is the only word to describe it! This was truly a vacation destination of a lifetime.
Denise is an amazing host with exceptional communication. From the moment we booked, she assisted us with every detail of our stay. The house was immaculate and fully stocked with absolutely everything one would need for a weeks stay. Even included plush white bath robes and slippers!

Living the Life at Casa Vina
Casa Vina was a wonderful little gem of a find for our family vacation. The house was absolutely adorable. It was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed as long distance renters. The beds had the most comfortable blankets on them and the mattresses were in great shape. We enjoyed feeding the animals on the little farm next door and riding the bicycles provided in the mornings. The only thing people should be aware of is that the second bathroom is not located in the house and is not heated, but it was very nice, clean and fully stocked. It is located in a separate building close behind the house. The weather was quite cool in March so heat would have been nice to have in there. Also, the shower only has enough hot water for an 11 minutes shower and takes 28 minutes to reheat. This was plenty of time for us to shower, but wouldn't work for someone who loves long showers and could be a problem if you have a group of people who all need to get ready in a short time. My family would definitely stay at Casa Vina again and would recommend it to others.
