The room was extremely spacious. En suite bathroom was fully modern. The overall house was charming.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to going back. Lisa and Scott are wonderful hosts. They are very welcoming. Breakfast was great. They offered homemade juices and jams to go along with it. The room we had was big. It's a great location with many restaurants and activities nearby, such as Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Cavern.

Lisa and Scott were very delightful people!
The bed in Rebecca's parlor was small and not comfortable

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The location is lovely, and we had a pleasant opportunity to chat with Appalachian Trail hikers staying at the B&B.
The B&B is a beautiful, very old house, and the only bad side of that is there is little sound insulation. You could hear others downstairs, on the (uncarpeted) stairway. and they could hear you. We were told in the morning how they could hear us laughing and talking, which was a little unnerving. This was made a little worse in that breakfast was served from 6:30 on, and so sleeping in wasn't possible due to the noise downstairs.. Other than that, it was a lovely place with kind and diligent owners!

Location is great (100 ft. from an access point to the Appalachian trail and a short drive to the northern entrance of Shenandoah National Park); the owners are hospitable and helpful, breakfast is tasty and prepared with care, and it was fun to meet some AT hikers and other people traveling through the area.

Staff were great. Food was excellent and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Can't wait to stay again! Thank you!

Scott and Lisa were wonderful - friendly and accommodating! Scott took the time to give us a brief history lesson about the house.
There was nothing we didn't like.

I liked the bed,; it was very comfy. The breakfast--I had scarambled eggs and toast-- was spot on. The bath area was clean and fitted well.
The B & B, in general, was clean, but cluttered. You vacation to escape the clutter of home. At this place between the workers, the rules, and the 'things' about, it was too filled with clutter.

The location was convenient to our interests.
The hosts were kind and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The inn is beautifully restored and well maintained. Interesting history of the property.

The breakfasts were incredible , so delicious .Plus you had several choices . Lisa is a great chef and Scott makes homemade jam and juices .
I do believe everything met my expectation. Maybe a stink bug or two got in the way but were easily disposed of.

Breakfast, excellent; comfort: outstanding. Scott...owner and host...kind, courteous, a gentleman, and an excellent conversationalist.
Nothing.

Breakfast was delicious! Our hosts were very felicitous in meeting our dietary needs.
A beautiful historical home which has been lovingly restored. Our hosts were extremely knowledgeable about the area & its history. It is a charming establishment.
The bed was comfortable, but it was a Murphy bed which felt a little confining for a tall person (my husband is 6’2”).

Where to start! So much care and love has been put into restoring this historic home, making it a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Lisa and Scott are welcoming, kind hosts and made us feel right at home. The room was lovely, very large and clean with its own private bathroom. Breakfast was wonderful! We loved trying the homemade jams, banana bread, and apple cider! This is a very special place that I would recommend to anyone.

The staff worked very hard to make our stay pleasant. The beds were very comfortable. My son really enjoyed the game room as well as playing the piano in the living room. Mountain Home Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located near downtown Front Royal as well as Shenandoah River State Park as well as Shenandoah National Park.
To be honest I really cannot think of something I did not like about our stay here. The hosts did a wonderful job to ensure we had a pleasant stay.

Breakfast was tasty. Lisa took our orders when we checked in. Very accommodating to vegans. The house is historic. Loved reading the journal entries of a girl who lived in the house during the Civil War!
The bed wasn’t too comfortable in my opinion.

Breakfast was a feast. We took advantage of the nice weather and ate on the patio, which was idyllic. The house is gorgeous and historic, but still has all the modern conveniences. Our hosts were welcoming and a wealth of information on the area. My sisters and I had a wonderful time hiking in Shenandoah, taking trails they recommended for us.
