Don’t let the outside fool you. This historic building is absolutely gorgeous on the inside. Very modern on the inside with the right touch of historic class!

A friend and I stayed here for three nights in June 2024. The place was beautiful, with very tasteful decor and furnishings in a gorgeous, historic building. All the appliances were modern and worked perfectly. The beds were very comfortable, with very beautiful bedding and pillows. We had views of some of the Rockies’ most impressive mountains from the bedrooms, kitchen, and dining/living areas. We’re really looking forward to staying here again!

Such a great property with big character! We walked to the center of town each day for the ski joring competition (about 15 min walk, maybe less), and then hung out at night at the property, ate, played games, read. So relaxing. Highly recommend this property, we constantly commented on how cool it is! We have decided we want to come back and stay here in the summer, loved it that much.

Great location and view!
We arrived at night and had some troubles, accessing the key in the green lockbox. Then couldn’t get the key to work in the second floor door to the building. So we went up to the third floor, then came back down to the 2nd where our rental was located. The place was relatively clean, a few lightbulbs missing. It was very warm so we had to crack the windows to cool down the space during our stay. There was not a thermostat that we could find. The space was as described online and was roomy enough for our family of four. The owner/manager was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. Overall good stay, cool old building!

Leadville Historic Loft
A charming property! Pictures don't do it justice. The most picturesque historic building in Leadville in my opinion. Convenient parking. Wonderful location with great views. Well maintained and clean. Beautiful floors and brick walls with very comfortable beds.

A wonderful place from which you can explore the Leadville area.
Beautiful historic building. Well equipped kitchen, we cooked an anniversary diner in it. Very quiet, we slept very well on firm beds. A great view from the porch, the old stairwell landing, and the living room windows. The fresh coffee beans, grinder and French press were very nice. A definite recommend.

Great Renovated Historic Building
This property is in a stand out building in Leadville- it has the charm of early 20th century building with modern comforts- works well if you are going out or staying in. Great if you're looking for a not-boring get away in Leadville

gorgeous property very pleasantly surprised
the room was comfortable and beautiful. I wish we had known it was off the main strip but everything is close enough to drive to. my daughter left her sweatshirt and I can't find a way to contact the property to ask them to send it to us. more access to the actual property owner or caretaker would help.

Changed up on my honeymoon
I booked this property for my honeymoon. When we arrived, we were told that the previous guest had found a bug, and that the place was being fumigated. Alex offered to put us up upstairs in an "even nicer" place. However, the place upstairs was not particularly nice, and I wouldn't have booked it for my honeymoon. When we were eventually allowed back downstairs to the original room, which was lovely and very honeymoon appropriate, we asked Alex if we could receive a discount on the original price for our trouble, and having spent half our honeymoon in a subpar suite. He confirmed that we could, but it never came through. We made the best of it, and enjoyed our second day, but I was disappointed.

Above Average Expereience
I found everything present and in order at this beautiful loft. It was roomy enough, conveniently located, and just a rear gem of a place to stay.
I really appreciate all that has gone into this property to make it what it is. If I may suggest a non-stick skillet, better beds with box spring, and more pillows with more fluff. But even though I suggest, these items me and my family were comfortable, safe, and our stay was very relaxing here. I really appreciated the quietness, and I found it to be a very fascinating property.
I will recommend and would gladly return I found the whole expereinces easy and well sorted.

Not enough towels and TV doesn’t eorn
Beautiful place. When we arrived we had 4 towels for 4 people for 4 nights. Asked manger to bring more and it took 2 days to reply and 2 additional towels were delivered the day before we left.
Also reported to the manager that the TV in the living room didn’t work. They told us we should reset by unplugging the Amazon Fire and plugging back in - which we did and it didn’t work. No attempt from the manager to correct.
Very cool condo but not worth the money with no TV and not nearly enough linens.

Perfect!
We loved staying in this historic property! The location is great; not right on the busy main road, but close enough to walk to restaurants, the theater, etc. The unit itself is spacious and well-appointed. The dry sauna was much appreciated after a day white-water rafting. Check-in and check-out was smooth. Owner's communication was great.

Convenient and Comfortable
We enjoyed our stay in this historic property. It was clean and well kept up, and had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. Much of the interesting parts of Leadville are within walking distance, including the National Mining Musuem, and the wonderful Mineral Belt Trail is nearby. We love the mountain view from the property and the balcony. Two bathrooms were a definite plus! We would stay again.
