Spacious, comfortable and ideally located

The property is very spacious and well stocked, it really a home away from home. The location is ideal a 10-15 walk to Windsor and just over the road from the long walk. Parking on site was easy and convinent.

A fab retreat for exploring Windsor

A lovely property, perfect position for Legoland and Windsor Castle. Apartment overall decor is high end. Beds were very comfortable, had some fantastic , well needed sleep. Host supplied 2 high chairs and cots which was brilliant. Loads of cupboard space, lots of local shops in walking distance to grab food for kitchen. Wide variety of restaurants within walking distance. Lovely big balcony and great flexibility on sleeping arrangements. Host was also efficient at dealing with a couple of issues we had.

Property could do with: A welcome pack including instructions for jacuzzi bath, hot water tank, lights and local amenities. A bit of a refresh in regards to some general wear and tear around the place. This is only evident as he property is high end so west and tear os more obvious.

Relaxing and lovely stay close to Windsor

The property was beautiful and spacious. The rooms were very big and the furniture was comfortable.

There were a few things that needed attention but it didn’t take away from the experience. The dishwasher didn’t work which meant when we got there everything had to be washed to use as there was a powdery feeling on everything. The top oven/ microwave didn’t work but again there was another microwave so didn’t take away from the experience.

Great location and as a work team we would stay there again, if we need to be in Windsor

Location was good Breakfast not provided The description says coffee machine and there was no coffee machine, but there was instant coffee and tea in the cupboards

The temperature controller in the main bathroom in the shower had broke, so the water was only Luke warm and not any warmer. Good if you are used to cold showers in the morning. Thankfully en-suite shower got hot, but one shower between four adults not ideal

Superb

The apartment was large, spacious and had very comfortable beds. The location is excellent. We were in Windsor for an Investiture at the Castle and the flat is only a short walk away. It's also close to local shops. Would definitely visit again.

Some repair/decoration work was needed near the patio doors in the kitchen area. Some work was also need on the balcony. More mugs were needed in the flat.

fair quality for price, great location and lovely spacious apartment.

location was perfect and the furnishings throughout were good quality, lovely big spacious apartment and lovely big bedrooms.

The carpet was stained and not particularly clean in places. there were no instructions for the heating and our upstairs neighbours were very very noisy in the middle of the night which was challenging with small kids! could have been cleaner.

Lovely apartment, well located for visiting Windsor and Ascot races.

I think having to checkout by 10am is a bit unreasonable, I think 11am is fairer. We ended up leaving in a mad rush and were two hours early for our next destination.

very disappointing second stay-highly unlikely we would stay again

location is excellent for us

very tired and in need of general maintenance- the standards are nowhere near where they should be for the cost of the stay. very dusty/dirty/unhygienic eg jets on the bath, dirty/blocked shower, stained carpets, communal areas were not clean, window handles were broken on several windows, cracked worktop hot water was not hot in the main shower

Great location.

Location was good. Flat was quiet and kitchen was well stocked with crockery etc.

Beds were very soft! Nothing major wrong but Overall the place looked tired, the carpets were quite stained, the windows leaked / gathered a lot of condensation, the kitchen clock was broken, the sofa is not that comfy.

A fantastic apartment in a lovely location, which made our weekend very special.

Brilliant location, excellent facilities especially in the lounge/dinner/kitchen. The apartment was safe, warm and welcoming. The host, Jeremy, is fantastic and so quick to respond. Overall a fantastic place to stay for a group of people to enjoy lovely Windsor.

Not much, it’s excellent. Some of the soft furnishings, bedroom throws, are tired and it was much better without them and just using the bed sheets.

We were attending a wedding and their were 7 in our group. The apartment was very nice.

The Charles is a lovey apartment. Well positioned and in a nice area.

There were a couple of issues but these were sorted by contacting Jeremy.

A great base for exploring Windsor and beyond and close proximity to Legoland!

Location very convenient - good parking ( we didn't need it but many will). Bus stop to town outside.

All was great. Very happy stay and Jeremy was a great host, helping us with information via email and phone.

Stayed just 2 nights, but it served our family of 4 well. It's just 10 - 15 min walk to the Castle

Very good communication upon booking the property and then a week before, providing all details I needed to know. Very comfortable beds, although the bedspread could use replacement. Fantastic showers and water pressure.

The kitchen didn't have a cutting board and some other basics. The lights in the rooms were difficult to work. We couldn't figure out how to raise the recessed lighting to above a dim light. We managed, though, because there was a floor lamp.

Best value for money

The instructions to access the building where very accurate. The size of the apartment was fabulous, all the facilities where excellent within the apartment, it was very clean and had the extra benefit of a veranda to sit out on.

Its not what i didnt like its just something that could be improved on - there was no dressing table/console table and chair to do your makeup or hair.

It was self catering so we ate breakfast in Windsor

Good but needs some attention to the details.

Central location for Windsor sights. Spacious, light and airy with private secure parking. Good for a friends reunion. Private balcony is lovely but see below re noise. All mod cons. Owner responded quickly to queries.

Right underneath Heathrow flight path so noisy from early am to late pm. Not enough kitchen equipment e.g only just enough mugs and wine glasses, cooking equipment a bit basic e.g. no chopping board. Little details overlooked e.g one light in lounge and one in ensuite shower not working and kitchen lights flickering, curtain rail hanging off wall in one bedroom. Instruction manuals a mess and need updating. Parking for 1 car only so an issue when its a group of friends travelling independently.

Nice place to stay but value for money is debatable

Good location, very spacious, very clean. Clear communication about what to do on arrival and departure was also appreciated.

If the cost was shared by 6 adults, then it could be argued that the property offers value for money. However for a family, the cost for 3 nights is pretty steep. Tea towels really should be provided. We had to dry crockery/cutlery by putting them to drip-dry in the dishwasher trays.
