About this house rental
The Antlers Cabin is rustic log cabin retreat loaded with charm and updated with many modern amenities. It is located in Green Mountain Falls, a quaint vacation town at the foot of Pikes Peak, close to Colorado Springs - but snuggled in the mountains for that true mountain town feel..
This historic log cabin includes three levels of living space with 5 bedrooms, 2 full baths and one half bath.
The ground floor has 2 bedrooms, one with a full size bed and one with a queen size bed, a full bathroom with tub/shower combo and family-play room. On the main floor, the wood-burning fireplace takes center stage in the great room, which is complete with vaulted ceiling, hardwood floors and real log walls. The dining room table seats 8 with 2 benches and 2 chairs. The adjacent sun room is a cozy place to read or play games. The master bedroom with queen size bed adjoins the nostalgic bathroom with charming claw-foot tub. The kitchen boasts a stove, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher and a breakfast area with table and chairs.
The top floor includes 2 additional bedrooms and a half bath. These two bedrooms each have a built-in full size bed along with a single bed.
Off the kitchen is a nice patio area for grilling and dining. An additional patio on the opposite side of the house and an enclosed deck off of the sun room provide ample opportunities to enjoy the beautiful mountain views.
Green Mountain Falls is a quiet little town with shops, restaurants, a fishing pond, hiking trails, public swimming pool, tennis courts, creeks and its namesake waterfalls. Nestled in a small valley, the central business district rings a small lake with a picturesque gazebo in the middle.
This cabin makes a great home base for trips to many major tourist attractions including: The Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, The U.S. Air Force Academy, Cave of the Winds, Seven Falls, the U.S. Olympic Training Center and many more. Shoppers will love a day trip to Manitou Springs or Old Colorado City. Those who love the outdoors will find great hiking, fishing, golf, 4-wheeling, rafting and biking nearby.

Awesome location! Far enough from Colorado Springs to escape the heat; close enough to Manitou Springs to do the tourist thingy (and then escape)! Green Mountain Falls had some nice walking distance food, and a short walk to multiple trailheads for some 8,000’ hikes! And the cabin was exactly what it says it is, comfortable and clean, with lots of space for families. Kudos to the host for answering my questions so quickly. Wonderful stay and hope to be back!

My son's family of 8 loved it so much I had a hard time getting them to come to my house..... There was a place for everyone to have privacy and space enough for all to be together. Really, if you like "rustic" and quaint, this is the place for you. Sleeps 10, but 2 would be perfect, TOOOO !!

8 adults had plenty of space to come together both inside and outside, but also plenty of space to be alone to enjoy the beautiful Mountain View’s. The house was decorated beautifully and is charming. 3 deer came to visit twice a day and the balcony views were breathtaking. We are already planning a Holiday vacation in the coming years. Great location too.

The Antlers is a mountain cabin with unique character and charm. Christy was very accommodating to our needs. Mountain cabins do have limited parking, but we made it work for us. Would stay here again.

This cabin is what I consider a real cabin, it still has that old charm untouched by modern day remodels, except the lower level where more convenient updates have been made. Properties in Green Mountain Falls are very close to each other, but this property still seemed very private while hanging out in the various outside areas around the cabin. The landscaping is gorgeous! It was just the two of us, and still felt cozy, but the cute rooms upstairs had me wishing we had brought the grandkids, maybe another time.

The property in Woodland Park was beautiful and the view of the mountains fantastic. We were informed that the rustic cabin that we reserved was not available due to a septic problem. Christy contacted us to let us know and provided us with the house in Woodland Park. She was prompt in addressing an issue with the battery on the key code on the door and had it fixed immediately. We enjoyed our stay.

Really enjoyed the big cabin with our grandkids. Great to have so many beds to put little bodies in. Owner was really helpful in making replacement key available when we misplaced the original. Great bonus to find the short hike to Mount Dewey was so convenient! Summer temperatures make it toasty when returning from a day of activity, so nights can start out a bit uncomfortably. Would gladly stay here again if our travels come this way. Thanks,

We had a great 3 night stay
We wish we could have stayed longer. We loved the space - big table - stocked kitchen - so much sleeping space for our big family. We had great family meals and games at night around the table. Would go back again and again.

Relaxing And Beautiful!
We stayed at The Antlers over Labor Day weekend. We came to see our cadet at USAFA for parents weekend. The place was a perfect retreat for the family. We cooked each night and enjoyed the beautiful views. Our hosts had everything ready and were quick to respond to one question we had. We hope to stay there again when we come back.

Wonderful 5-bedrooms in mountains
Great place if you need a lot of bedrooms. Older log cabin with tons of antique decorations in mountain country. Very warm and charming place. Stocked with all the cooking items needed for meals. Thin floors and walls so everyone needs to be quiet when going to bed. Only one shower but plenty of towels. Management was wonderful to work with. Would definitely stay there again.

A great place to stay
We had a wonderful time staying here with our 5 kids. There was plenty of room in the cabin that everyone could have their own space. The cabin was very clean, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood and town are nice and quiet, and a close drive to lots of points of interest. There’s a beautiful view from the porch and patios. Hiking trails are a short walk from the cabin, and there are lots of deer in the neighborhood. The road to the cabin is steep and rutted, making us understand why everyone has 4 wheel drive in the area, but we made it up in our minivan. A great experience overall!

A Blast to the Past
If you love old cabins then this is the place for you. So many fun things to look at and cozy corners to read in. Reminded us of a family cabin that we no longer have but still have many good memories. The kids loved it!

great log cabin for a family
We loved staying in this beautiful cabin, full of quirky memorabilia and a strong family feeling! Baked apple pie and great meals. The town of Green mountain Falls is charming too! Hiking and biking trails nearby and a short drive away make this a great launch point. Some of us wished we were still kids and could sleep in the loft!

Relaxing mountain home
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this quaint mountain home filled with lots of country charm! It was close to all the day trips we had planned, and relaxing for movies, games, and star gazing on the patio at night. I would highly recommend staying here.

Paradise!
This house was perfect for us. We love antiques and it is like a mini museum. It was very clean and well maintained. It was a “safe” vacation to take our family on this summer. The house had everything we needed. I highly recommend this house!

Cozy charm in the mountains
This was the perfect space for our two little families. It was super charming and had the vintage look of what I have come to expect from a GMF cabin but with all the updates a modern family needs.

Memorable & Nastalgic
My grown children, a young grandchild, a couple of teen-age nephews, sister-in-law, and my husband & I enjoyed coming “home” to this spacious, but charming home as we prepared for my daughter’s wedding near Colorado Springs. Perfect for gathering together and making new memories, while still plenty of cozy hide-aways to relax and unwind.

Great location
My family stayed at The Antlers for a week, it was a great space for a big group, however, the 5 bedrooms aren't all private as one upstairs can only be accessed through another bedroom, which wasn’t ideal for our family. Still a good space. Thanks for hosting!

Log Cabin in the Rockies
Our extended family of 6 absolutely loved staying at The Antlers. Green Mountain Falls is a lovely little hamlet maybe 12 miles west of Colorado Springs with hiking trails nearby and a quaint "downtown" with cute shops and yummy food next to a large pond and a creek running by, all surrounded by pine woods. The grandkids loved sleeping on the 3rd level in the loft beds. The main floor living room was great for gathering and the kitchen is well stocked for large groups (10). The entry level floor has the only shower, but there is a tub on the main floor and a toilet on the top level. This cabin is old and rustic, so be prepared for some dirt and cranky doors and windows! The management is extremely easy to work with which is always appreciated!

Perfect mountain getaway
We love the Antlers Cabin. This is our fourth year staying there. This summer I especially appreciated having the well equipped kitchen that we cook all our meals in and being able to eat at home on the patio with a beautiful view. It made it very easy to social distance and not be out in restaurants. The area around the cabin was very quiet and we only saw deer and humming birds. We love all the hikes that you can do right in Green Mountain Falls and we kept busy without doing any of the touristy things where with might expect lots of people. It’s the perfect spot to visit anytime, but especially if you are needing a break from your own house this summer!

Comics and cozy
Our trip was nice plenty of room for 10 people, could use a little updating but nothing that wouldn’t have us come back.

Not very clean, bathroom needs updating, charming home.
Enough rooms for our big family of 9, but only one shower and the shower needs updating. There was a bathtub, we didn't use that and a half bath.
