The location and building was characterful and was with all amenities in a lovely, old village. The breakfast was tasty and well presented with a good selection of continental and cooked options.
Although it was good to learn about some local info and gossip Elizabeth was prone to over talking and she often seemed exhausted. This created unnecessary tension when wanting to enquire about simple things..Her and Rodney (her partner) seemed to never stop and could do with some extra help. Perhaps a young apprentice/pair of hands could make tasks flow easier..?We found the bed far too soft and we often rolled into one other. This caused a lack of sleep. We also noticed a few too many cobwebs, a long crack in the ceiling and blinds that fell apart/rattled in the wind.

Facilities good and very clean. Bed very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. Elizabeth was the best host. It was no trouble that we had to arrive late Elizabeth could not have done more to help us.

It was big, cosy and very comfortable, I was able to park my car right outside the property which helped with bringing in my belongings.
Elizabeth and her husband were very welcoming to me and my young son, nothing was to much trouble and even got me a travel cot so my son could safely play with his toys.
The property was very clean and tidy and had everything I needed for my overnight stay.
The bed was very comfortable and both me and my son slept very well.
Thank you Elizabeth for yours and your husband’s hospitality.

Wonderful host, excellent breakfast, and simple, clean, comfortable accommodation.

I liked the size of the bedroom, and the breakfast was phenomenal, so much to eat, and all fresh produce. The hosts were lovely and friendly and could not do more for you. It is also well placed to get to all the attractions in the area. Good parking.
That it is on the main road on a bend.

This was one of the best b&b stays we've had in recent times. The location is perfect. The room was spacious and clean. We felt like we were staying at a relative or a friend's place. The best thing about the stay is the Elizabeth's warm welcome and how well she takes care of the guests. We loved our conversations with Elizabeth. She made us feel at home. When we go back to Chepstow again we'll only go to Elizabeth's b&b.

Delightful hostess,
Huge comfy bed
Great breakfast

Breakfast was very good. Owners were very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal if passing through that area. Good walks nearby.
We couldn't book the breakfast on Booking.com - we had to order it separately when we arrived. It would be more useful to have it as an option on the booking form. The breakfast seemed to be a flat rate which was good value for a full breakfast, but it would have been good to have the option of a smaller breakfast for a lower price.

The host, Elizabeth, was lovely and kindly allowed me to check in early. She was attentive and went out of her way to make me feel welcome. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful; I especially enjoyed the fruit and yoghurt. It was helpful that I could use the fridge, milk and microwave in the breakfast room and I liked that there were biscuits in the room. Parking was easy, the wifi was good and the shower worked well.
Only a couple of little things. The bed was a little firm for me (but this is just my personal taste) and the traffic from the road outside could be a little noisy at times (luckily I had some ear plugs).

I read the great reviews before booking this B&B, and I have to say that Elizabeth was so friendly and welcoming. Our room was a decent size and the shower was perfect, with really good water pressure. The breakfast was great quality and plentiful. We really enjoyed our stay here as it was lovely and quiet at night. We will definitely stay here again.
Only minor quibble would be that it would be nice if there was an option to just have toast or cereal for breakfast at a cheaper price, as not everyone wants a cooked breakfast, and the price is the same. However if you like a cooked breakfast then you won’t be disappointed with the breakfast they serve up.

Very simple and cozy place. Good hosts.
Couldn't locate the place when I arrived.

Elizabeth and her husband were very friendly and welcoming. The bedroom and bed were large and comfortable.
Breakfast was substantial and very well presented including fresh flowers and white table cloths.
The place was easy to find and off street parking provided.
The pub across the road was an easy opportunity for a decent evening meal.
We wished we'd had more time to explore the surrounding area. Many information pamphlets were available.

The room was spotless & the welcome received from Elizabeth was wonderful. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and enjoy your stay. The breakfast was AMAZING and great value for money. For £9, we were given fresh fruit, a choice of cereals and a full English Breakfast. Fruit juice was provided, a wide range of teas and a pot of coffee was also on tap.
There was a relaxed atmosphere and the other guests staying happily chatted together over breakfast.
We took our 5 month old baby and Elizabeth made sure our room was snug & ready for a baby snooze after our long drive.
I would highly recommend this b&b and would definitely stay again.
We were happy with everything!

Parkfield B&B was exceptional!! Family run with a first class breakfast, the room was clean and perfect for our needs, we even had an area to dry our motorcycle clothing. They are biker friendly with secure off road parking for our bikes. The local pub had a great atmosphere and the food was perfect.
Nothing I really enjoyed my stay.
