Very comfortable apartment in a good location south of Austin

Good amount of space, full kitchen, not too far from eateries.

long walk to the actual building from the street. we didn't have a car so were dropped off where we could be dropped off and it was quite a long walk to find the building and get to the room. We didn't realize that the address was a city block, so Uber dropped us off where maps said to for the address and that spot was on the opposite side of the actual entrance (we had to call Sonder to help find the entrance). Then we still had to walk a couple hundred yards to find the building.

Comfortable and clean SOCO location; convenient to many activities, eateries and drinking establishments.

Loved the location once we figured out how to get into the complex. Big Sam was wonderful onsite contact … he was welcoming and very helpful.

Mosquitoes on the balcony… not property’s fault. We were all caught off guard.

We enjoyed the stay and would do it again.

The property was in a great location and area was quiet with easy access to the apartment, being on the bottom floor. We were able to walk across the bridge to restaurants and do some shopping.

The master bath was in need of a good scrubbing. The shower wall had a lot of hair that was stuck to it. The TV didn’t work in the living room, but that didn’t really bother us since we were only there to sleep.

Perfect location, walkable area!

Location was perfect, local shops, name brand store restaurants, and bars all walkable. Walkable to downtown across Congress Street bridge.

Pull out couch definitely needs better mattress or even a foam topper.

Perfect location in Austin

Perfect location on South Congress with many restaurants, bars and shops in walking distance. Convenient free parking for the car. Gym access during our stay. Comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms.

Bathroom had hair in the sink and towels. Trash bin was not emptied when we arrived.

Great apartment, unbeatable location.

Good apartment, mostly had everything we needed for a weeks stay. Unbeatable location.

As the Sonder team are aware, the guests staying above us absolutely ruined our stay. Firstly, the apartment was great and the location was fantastic. However, the walls are thin and they were stomping around and letting their kids stomp and run laps of their apartment for hours and hours every day, for 4 days straight. It was like thunder above us and we could not relax or drown it out with the tv. We became unwell during our stay so really relied on the apartment to rest, but this was difficult because of these guests who had no consideration for others. We appreciated the Sonder teams efforts to intervene but unfortunately the situation wasn’t resolved. We were otherwise really happy with the apartment until the other guests arrived halfway through our stay. One other thing - the floors were dirty, definitely hadn’t been mopped - our feet turned black within a few hours.

Great location with a beautiful pool

Location was great, close to everything & within walking distance of shops & restaurants. Pool was gorgeous! Kitchen well supplied.

No lock on door between bathroom & bedroom. No blanket for couch bed. Not enough toilet paper, dishwasher pods, or laundry soap for my family of six for our four night stay.

Great place to stay!

Location

We had a problem with the parking, we forgot to place to parking pass and we got towed. The pass was too big and we put it down during our day and that day when we arrive to the apartment we forgot to place it again and got towed. Our suggestion is to have a tag to hang it in the mirror instead of that huge card

Some good, some bad.

The construction being performed at the time of our visit left the place quite disheveled. However, the location was amazing. Inside the apartment, everything was nice. The pool and fitness center were nice, but the pool gate was dangerously heavy.

The complex looked quite rundown due to the construction work being performed. The only access was through the gated entrance, and the code provided didn’t work, which was very frustrating! Dirt and mud were everywhere, also due to the construction.

Excellent stay - everything provided and staff lovely.

Excellent location. Clean, easy to access & good parking. Coffee machine and coffee provided, and when rang and asked for more coffee, delivered very quickly with a smile and was complementary- nice touch! Washing machine and tumble dryer in apartment- didn't use in the end but felt these were a great addition. Would use again when next back in Austin.

Never found pool -wasn't clear where it was from apartment, but would have had a hard time fitting a swim in our schedule anyway. Wifi was bit intermittent in how well it worked but had own phone data to hotspot so not an issue for us.

Was notified a few days before stay (after cancellation deadline) that the pool would be out of order and unavailable. I had booked this hotel specifically because it had a pool, and paid over the average for this reason. I reached out to Sonder to find out if it would be available at any point during our week long stay, they said they would call back and never did. As it happens the pool was not available. (There was a pool available at a facility about half a mile down the road but this is not at all the same thing as a pool at your hotel.)

Good value for money / decent size space.

A little hard to find on the property (or at least after a 30 hour journey with a 16 hour time change) but once you're past that hurdle the apartment is sizeable for the price. Pool open to short term residents and parking dead easy even with a larger vehicle. Very short walk from good coffee (Jo's), Continental Club and the rest of the SoCo classic spots.

Pool closes a little early for hot nights. Getting in and out with a bicycle not super easy. Kitchen could do with one or two more basics.

Location is terrific. Placement of the unit I was in was a little hard to get to but fine.

The unit had challenging stairs with a light that did not work (dangerous). The pool was not accessible for the entire stay. Accessing the unit was not easy if you had luggage. The linens and lighting were really bleh and overall the unit felt a bit cheap considering the price of the stay.

water was turned off for maintenance without any notice or when it would be back on. ceiling above shower was cut out and somewhat unfinished. mold visible on metal vent above shower.

Great stay close to SOCO and downtown

Great location with many awesome restaurants and bars nearby. Free Parking! This is unbelievable in Austin as parking is sometimes up to 60 dollars a night. Walking distance to a lot on SOCO, but you can take an uber or quick scooter over the bridge to Downtown. Probably one of the only places I've traveled to that had plenty of pillows and towels too.

Very loud upstairs neighbors, walk like they are horses, not really in the control of the owners here, but when you are told to respect a quiet time you would think it would be honored by the tenets of the building. Parking is a bit confusing but not bad,

Great location in lively area of Austin. Spacious accommodation. Excellent facilites ... large bathroom, closet and laundry room. As only 2 night stay it was great to have small amount of household supplies to use. Enjoyed use of the swimming pool too.

My only criticism is the layout of the apartment complex is a bit confusing and it would be useful for clients to be sent a plan of the complex. And/or have a copy of the layout in the apartment. The block I was in was very close to the entry gates which was fortunate with luggage.

Great location. Cool decor. Fun time.

The location was really great. Being able to walk to Jo’s to get coffee in the morning and hit one of the many bars on the way home at night was really cool.

the stairs - the light switch at the top of the steep stairs just inside the door didn’t work. it was a sensor switch that had been broken. Had to walk down a few times in the darkness. It was scary and lonely.
