We come back

Our stay in this hotel was very pleasant. Everything was nice nd clean. THe location was good for us since we wanted to spend the evening in a music bar around the corner. We had valet parking, which was necessary downtown Austin. We received bottles of water when we checked in. Very thoughtful.

Only the top roof pool was too crowded for us, by many kids and families. The pool was not that big and clear and luxuroius as I expected. The drinks there were served in plastic cups and expensive (It was very hot and we sat in the seating area with clothes on, due to a very crowded pool area). The Valet parking was wonderful but quite expensive ( No alternatives because downtown parking is expensive anyway)

in perfect location if you want somewhere to be able to just walk around!!

I loved how clean the property was and it definitely lived up to the pictures… luxury and very clean environment

the view and pool were the main reason why i booked and when we initially went they gave me the crappiest view… i had to upgrade so be clear when booking that you want a nice view or they’ll try and give you a crap view

NYE party was fabulous on the Rooftop

Rooms always great beds are the best so comfortable and pillows are always so nice. Keep that up that’s what we love about The Westin.

Restaurant service needs help bad waiter and bartenders look at you but don’t come over unless you go to them when they clearly see you standing there. That was an issue a lot and we had 7 ppl I’m a great tipper but when you have bad service you don’t feel like tipping. However I’d never ever do that so they need to step there game up. It’s a beautiful restaurant/bar area better service is what’s lacking.

We stayed for 1 night

There was just a small issue with the front desk asking for photo ID as the key did not work and all the photo ID was in the room. This happened with my husband on the day of our checkout.

So happy with the location and staff! Would stay there again if ever back in Austin.

The location was great. Staff was super friendly. Room was comfortable and clean.

I still wish you didn't have to ask to have your room cleaned, but I guess that's one of the benefits we lost with COVID.

Nice but over priced for the comfort and lack of amenities

Location was great and pretty hotel that was clean.

They have the air in the room shut off throughout the night making it either very hot or very cold. The beds have a waterproof cover that felt like plastic under your thing sheet. The hotel didn’t have a gift shop and they did not have microwaves or room service as stated.

Nice hotel, great front desk staff, unwelcoming restaurant, centrally located

The proximity to the Convention Center was great.

The employees in the bar/restaurant were rude and unwelcoming. Never returned after there after our first of 5 nights. The homeless people coming up to our faces while we were standing outside the door waiting for our Ubers was frightening and quite frustrating. There should be Marriott employees making them leave the front entrance.

Bathroom smells like mold room was very small.

Stay was not acceptable. Nothing was as it should have been or as it was advertised.

Stay was not acceptable. Shower and sink smelled like mold when turned on. Couldn't get served in bar during Happy hour but it wasn't busy (less than 10 people). Bellboy took our bags without asking and dropped our stuff all over the lobby. Bartender at pool was rude. I paid almost $800 to stay here and a Holiday Inn would have been better and cleaner. I am returning to Austin next month but I will not be staying at the Westin ever again ! I complained to management after my stay and they did nothing to rectify the situation. 1 star for a comfortable bed in very small KING room.

Great location with good views

The room was cleaned every day. The gym was awesome with an incredible view. Also the pool and the pool bar were great. Amazing views of Austin City from the top.

The food in the restaurant was a little bit more than average. Not bad but the menu could have more variety.
