Неплохой вариант переночевать около аэропорта

Хозяин организовал трансфер из аэропорта в одну сторону в разы дешевле, чем официальное такси довезло обратно.

В номере не оказалось холодильника и купленные на ужин и завтрак продукты частично испортились.

Look of building …. Cleanliness…..

The basic of basic with regard to cuterley and crockery . The spoons were plastic sticks.!! The kettle was in needed of descaling .The glasses available were champagne glasses they were more like sherry glasses. The under counter fridge with microwave placed on top was an eyesore for such an old elegant room. The extremely small shelf (boxing in) was too small for making tea. I just think the interior amenities let in down. The bed was very clean but is a small double .

Clean nicely decorated and functional but not so handy for airport as originally thought.

This was a nice room but note the location is a touch isolated if you don’t have a car. The host offered me a tasty toastie for dinner which I gladly accepted.

If you’re staying in order to be close to the airport be aware of the hidden taxi transport costs. It’s a ten minute drive but the charge is 25 GBP!! There is a sign in the room saying it’s 13 GBP but the taxi driver who they use refuted that.

A Great Bed and Breakfast

The hosts couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable.The room and bathroom were very clean and fresh towels were given to us each morning. The microwave and fridge were a great addition.

An outstanding Gem of a country retreat. Excellent Value too .

The Location is excellent - fabulous for an early morning walk or Run on quiet road - a first class Country retreat with all modern amenities. Shower was outstanding.Top quality TV. Brilliant hosts Angela & Steve and a lift to the Airport at modest cost as Steve was available. Parking available at a generous price. I was delighted with my stay and will return next trip for sure.

Old Thatch is in a lovely location, just a few minutes' drive from Stansted Airport. Our hosts, Steve and Angela, could not have been more kind and pleasant and accommodating

Handy for the airport and ~30 mins from work in Chelmsford.

Unfortunately the bathroom / en-suite had a rather strong and unpleasant smell.

from the pickup to drop off to the airport which is a few minutes away, great for my early morning flight, dinner and br

the owners couldn’t do enough to make my stay exceptional. communication is excellent. The room was delightful, interesting decor, a very old room… 350 years with the original exposed beam ceiling, the bed was very comfortable, TV terrific size and clarity, hot strong shower was appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful room, friendly and generous hosts, everything was spotless (and I have OCD and germophobia), comfortable furniture, good size fridge, so worth the money and I definitely hope to come back, we loved it <3

Minor issues: bathroom fan is loud when on and the dining table is a little shaky but this didn’t have any negative impact on the stay :)

Great place, very close to airport, would be lovely for a longer stay.

Lovely property, very clean & finished to a high level. Very friendly owner. I was staying there before an early morning flight, excellent location for the airport.

I didn’t see an obvious reception, I arrived in the dark and was walking past the owners living quarters when they came to the window, so not really a negative, but a little confusing.
