well proportioned apartment with nearly all you need. it was clean with usual amenities. pleasant decor and decent kitchen.
the apartment was up 6 flights of stairs with a further dark narrow dogleg staircase up to the eaves of the victorian house where the apartment is situated. I saw no comment to the access of the flat prior to booking and would not have booked it, as my husband has had 2 heart attacks! it was gruelling to get upstairs especially as it was hot. we planned our day around once down and once up! there was very little wardrobe space and if 2 couples stayed you’d be living out of a suitcase. also no hairdryer.

Nothing
It was dirty. We had to vacuum the property on arrival, including drawers. One drawer contained durex lube. The oven was filthy and could not be used. When I contacted the owner to ask a for an email address to send photos of the filth, he failed to reply. There was insufficient toilet tissue and dishwater cleaner, no hairdryer nor patio as advertised

As states, the views are wonderful. Apartment was comfortable and cosy.
My elderly parents found the amount of stairs difficult. This should be mentioned in the advertising.

Big, spacious, clean, great location.
Unclear instructions on how to enter and dodgy front door that wouldn’t open.

Lovely flat, great views of the water and the beds were really comfortable. Well looked after and nicely furnished. Lots of towels and nice bedding. Layout was good for a family. There is a kids play park about 50 metres down the road which was lovely and a small pebbled beach area behind it. Cafes and Royal Kings Yard a short walk away made it a really nice part of the city to stay in.
The access to the flat is the only real draw back - its basically in the attic so you have to climb lots of steps and then a little spiral type set of 5 steps to get into the flat. Fine if you are mobile but challenging if you can't carry your bags up lots of stairs. Once you are up there its great but I was glad I could store the pram in the car and not have to take it up the stairs!

That we checked out after 1 night and went home, not staying the 3 nights we booked!!!
Unfortunately the standard needs to be addressed. There were stains on the bed sheets and sofa. Mould in the bathroom, a broken floor tile that was on a previous review from 2021 still not fixed. The windows let in so much sound and cold air as well as damp. The carpet on the stairs has come away making it a hazard to climb. The kitchen chair was torn, toilet flush broken, paint work is rough and marks on the carpet. The dishwasher cannot be open due to badly sitting on the kick board.

Good size apartment
Car park was tight when full. Outside area disgusting (dog dirt, face mask, general rubbish, socks, many different levels so a trip hazard). The many flights of stairs to the top were awkward and dangerous in places. Only x2 bath towels provided when booked for x3 adults.

Excellent apartment, perfect location, incredible views, clean, free parking
50 stairs to enter the apartment which i feel should be advertised. No toiletries available or AC (there was a controller but couldnt find where the vents were or feel any sort of air / Fan)

Great location. Few minutes walk to sea front and a park for children. Free parking as promised. Lots of kitchen equipments. Martin was exceptionally helpful.
1. Very noisy, we couldn't sleep which wasn't good as we had a 4 hours drive in the morning.Windows were single glazed and drafty.
2. Cracked tiles in the toilet that shift under the feet.
3. Loose carpet on the stairs this is hazard as the motion sensor light go off too quickly.
4. Bath needs fresh grouting as some area has black mold.
5. Flights of stairs narrow and tricky with luggages.
6. The only frying pan that works with induction hob has burnt scratched patches.
Some of these negatives has been mentioned from previous long term reviews that by now should have been acted on. The property has great potential due to location and effort should be made for it to worth the asking price. For me its overpriced for the one night stay that we couldn't get to sleep due noisy road due to old single glazed windows.

wry close to Royal William yard and the restaurants and bars.
beautiful views
lots of stairs to the property and heavy doors to open with luggage

Very misleading to advertise this place as having exceptional views. There were 2 small dormer windows with permanent condensation between panes.
Would have appreciated knowing there were more than 60 steps to front door from car park which became increasingly narrow and very awkward with luggage.
Bed was very small and uncomfortable.
Area between car park and back door absolutely filthy and covered in rubbish.

The apartment was beautifully stylish, comfortable and the panoramic views over Cornwall, the marina, Mount Edgcumbe and the Royal William Yard were outstanding. The location was excellent too.

Good location
The nearby shop for essentials is great.
parking was easy
Owner is lovely on the phone and promised to sort things out but nothing was sorted before we left (maintenance person unable to come out to fix stairs)
5 flights of stairs very tough with luggage!
No hair dryer (this has been noted in other reviews)
Very noisy at night due to windows not closing properly very old and need replacing.
Hairs in the bed and cupboards dirty - cleaner could come in four days into stay but I had already cleaned by then.
No key to lock upper door- we felt the same as the other review that notes about security.
Broken bathroom tile and broken toilet lock still a problem as noted in previous reviews.
Stairs were broken we had to step over two stairs that bent underfoot and carpet coming up leaving carpet gripper exposed.

Everything! The layout, the view, the modern feel, the good WiFi, the comfort, it was perfect!

Lovely big apartment, nice and clean and great views of the river. Comfy beds and comfy sofas in the seating area.
Lot of stairs up to apartment but was ok. We managed them.

The location was really good! It has lovely views of Royal William Yard. Cleanliness was also to a high standard.
I asked for a box of chocolates and a card to be left in the apartment for when we arrived as it was my nans birthday. With how much we spent for only 2 nights I feel like they could have gone that extra customer service mile and included them in the price. They also didn’t leave a card.
The beds upstairs were not made when we arrived either… this was quickly dealt with though.

A very comfortable and beautifully decorated property. The beds, bedding and towels were all of a very good quality.
We could not find a hairdryer.
6.0
The location was very good for all of the things we intended to do whilst we were in Plymouth. The apartment itself was beautiful, very comfortable, and the views across the water were exceptional.
The kitchen included an induction hob - something we were not familiar with and the frying pan on top of everything else in the relevant drawer was not induction compatible anyway but a call to the owner sorted that out. However, even with his help, we were unable to use the oven at all - it wasn't very clean anyway so we abandoned it. The 60-odd step climb from the car park level was a daily challenge and the bar stools were a little awkward for people of our age and stature!
9.0
The location and the views reguardless of weather are second to none and depending when you book you can get a great value for money deal. For what we paid we all thought it was well worth it. Great bonus was the parking spot which is ideal and again so close by to William Fort which is a lovely area.
Only negitives was the cleaning in the bathroom wasn't quite finished off or on the kitchen tops but nothing that put us off. I would also get the bathroom tile looked at that is cracked as it was causing a smell throughout the apartment. Also one of the windows wouldn't close but luckily we made the owner awear of this and they know it will need doing.

Clean good layout, friendly help by Martin, good view one side over the sea, all your channels included on the TV, close to cremyl ferry. About to was your clothes.
Stair climbing at least 3 flights from the car parking facility, because your on the top floror your hit by the elements and the windows reflect that quite noisy,
9.6
Great location, great view, very clean and tidy with everything you need to keep the family entertained. Plenty of towels, cups, plates, cutlery etc.
5 flights of stairs so not too accessible for young children. Key to lock 2nd door doesn't work. Very blustery weekend and forgot how noisy a loft room was.
