Nice rooms and space, friendly staff
Very little options of breakfast during the week (for the weekend it had more options)
too expensive for Ninh Binh and what it offered in terms of overall service
Reception was closing very early at night (by 11pm)- with such price!

The staff's attention to detail in caring for the surrounding plant life, flowers, and tiny gardens as well as the food preparation impressed me. Since the shampoo and shower gel given here are made of natural ingredients, they might not feel as smooth (but that's okay with me). Since there are many trees and flowers nearby, there may be bugs and their sounds at night, but I still think it's cute because it's very healing!
I booked the Lotus room and unfortunately, it only has a standing shower room.If I have a chance to visit once again I definitely will try other room categories that have bathtubs to beat this hot weather:)

The resort was exceptional. I loved the breakfast. I didn't want to leave the room in the morning.
Everything was perfect.

We like the room and the overall design of the resort with vegetable gardens and a lot of trees. It’s quite nice and comfortable. The staff are friendly and polite.
We thought it’s a high-end home stay rather than a resort. There’s a lack of options for breakfast and options for the restaurant menu. Also there’s no TV and lack of entertainment area as a standard for a resort. The sound proof needs to be upgraded as you can hear the noise from next room. Overall, The price is very high for the resort standard.

The property is absolutely beautiful. The rooms, the tub, the pool and the views are great. Also enjoyed the free use of bicycles which helped us get around town.
The restaurant needs improvement. It would be better for them to offer less things on their menu but be sure to make them well. Ended up going in town for most meals which is a quick taxi ride away or a 15 minute bike ride.

Beautiful place with very nice facilities. The pool was very nice. Rooms were clean and the property as well was maintained very well.

Comfortable rooms, good amenities and utilities. the restaurant is excellent and the pool is very nice.
We were arriving by night bus at 4AM so we sent a message to the resort ahead of time, as well as called them. We were assured that we could rest in the lobby area on arrival before check in at 12PM. when we arrived at the resort, the gate was closed, lights were off and there was no staff to let us in. Thankfully a member of the maintenance crew was there to let us in, but was not aware of our arrival. When the receptionist finally arrived she was cold and rude. We called ahead AND sent a message through booking.com, so their lack of preparedness was unacceptable in our opinion. The location is a little far away from town, but not the worst. Close to some minor attractions, but we recommend taking bikes or motorbikes because there’s quite a lot of roaming wild dogs.

Beautiful design of the property and rooms, amazing views of the landscape. Quiet and peaceful. Very clean and comfortable.
Lunch took about 90 minutes to complete our meal even though there were only 4 other clients in the restaurant. The server woman took our orders, returned 20 minutes later to tell me the drink I ordered can't be made, so I ordered glass of white wine, which came immediately, and warm. I ordered grilled beef served in bamboo that comes with rice. I repeated "with rice" when I ordered because the option said "with rice or baguette". Half an hour after we order, the beef is served. Alone. No rice. I wait for rice. Ten minutes later, the server comes over and asks me why I am not eating. I say I am waiting for rice. She leaves. Fifteen minutes later she brings my partner's food, also with no rice as the menu says it should come with. I ask for rice again because I see they brought rice to another table. Thirty plus minutes after my beef was served, I ask for rice AGAIN. And the server is confused and asks why I want rice. This is the fourth time I have asked, and IT IS LISTED AS PART OF THE DISH. She is confused, and I have to show her the menu, and explain that it should come with rice (especially for that price!). Later she brings me a tiny sauce bowl of rice. My beef is cold and gross at this point because it was served almost an hour before. No apologies or any awareness from staff that this is utterly unacceptable for a hotel restaurant of this price point. Lunch cost 1 mil VND for two very small dishes, no rice.
Every meal was the same. Even breakfasts. It became a joke for us to see which dishes we received and which were forgotten, and how long it would take.
That evening we asked this same server at the front desk for water, because the single bottle of water for two people isn't enough, and there is no where to buy water nearby. She seemed unprepared and confused that I needed water. She had to ask the cleaner man to give water in an old bottle.

Absolutely stunning hotel, the staff were exceptional and incredibly friendly. This was such a welcomed relaxing break and we would definitely recommend utilising the free push bikes to get out to see the sites. We also hired a scooter from the hotel with ease. 5* would recommend

Gorgeous location
We thought our room had garden but it was a wall in front and a really small garden... no view. we had to pay double to change room to a superior one. We tried to take hot bath not enough hot water to fill 1/4 of a big tub. Very noise at night with chickens, dogs, other natural noises because the room has no noise cancelling windows...

Nice location and surrounding, well prepared and maintained patio
Guests playing loud music at the pool all day and evening long. If this is supposed to be quite and relaxed place as it is advertised, then music at the public areas must be forbitten!

Love the fact that facility is very eco friendly in the country where it is very rare to find such place . We loved our stay . Food is great although restaurant is bit pricey. It is the worth the money though

Great location for cycling around Ninh Binh, staff were very accommodating and friendly

Nice staff, not mention about the professionalism, they were so friendly with the always-on smile. They made bed while we're having dinner (truly in love with). The room was so clean. The view was fantastic. All the vegetables served at restaurant were planted in their own garden. They tried to reduce the single-use plastic as well.
It would be perfect if the water source could've been more stronger. We hardly filled the bath tub since it took timesssss to wait haha. Also we had to wait at least 30m for food at restaurant.
