Gần phố Tây, tiện nghi, ra Hàm Cá Mập 5p đi bộ. Xung quanh có starbuck, phúc long, highland.

One of the best 4-star hotels in the old town: the location is great - right in the middle of all the shops and restaurants, 7 min walk to the lake. Easy to do things from here. We got a room with a balcony and you have a view of the bustling street which is fun! However, the room was very quiet; It was spacious and neat with all the usual amenities. Cable TV with lots of channels, including movie channels.
The staff are very kind and professional. They go out of their way to help you book any trip, transport and provide lots of helpful advice. Easy to talk at any time.
Definitely and highly recommended!

Great location in the heart of old quarter, very close to “beet street.” The staff were incredible and upgraded us for both nights and let us store our Luggage for free when we went to Sapa. Room was very spacious and the breakfast was nice.
Room was close to lift so a little noisy.

A little gem! This hotel is so lovely, excellent value for money. Location couldn't be better, right in Old Quarter but still no noise and the street itself is quieter. Staff are so lovely and helpful - thanks to Hang for being so friendly!
The breakfast was great, and they even packed me a little to go breakfast because I was checking out very early! Also be sure to check out the spa - I got two lovely treatments there (guests get a 20% off).
If you want value for money, while still retaining all the perks of a comfortable, clean, nicely designed hotel then this is the place for you.
Only thing is the laundry service is very expensive but there are plenty cheaper in the locality so this isn't even a negative to me.

Location is best selling point of this hotel. It's conveniently located near tourist spots, along strip of restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops. Staff is very helpful too. Huge shoutout to Hằng for helping substantially with the airport transfers, Grab bookings, and reservation for tours to Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh. Lobby staff is incredible, and makes our stay very very easy.
Hotel's old and outdated, so sometimes we have small bugs inside the room.

location is perfect. the lady at the reception is super nice and the room is pretty
the “window” was not really a window. we felt like the chef (for breakfast) hated either us or is unfriendly in general. We felt uncomfortable ordering eggs or French toast

Location, staff and food were all superb! The room was also excellent and had everything you need. Mr. Thoi took great care of us and gave us great recommendations on what to do or where to get the best food in the area.

We had a lovely surprise with this hotel, beautiful rooms, clean facilities, lovely bed. great location, kind and helpful staff.
Hotel should have a strict non visitors in the room policy, specially after midnight. Also ensure maximum occupancy is observed. Neighbors had a little adults party after 3:30 a.m. and the noise was unbearable until the early morning when they dismiss their extra guest.

Nice clean room with a great bathroom. The hotel staff are lovely and friendly. Room was cleaned daily and looked exactly like the pictures. Breakfast was really good! Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and will stay again if I come again to Hanoi.
Loved everything!

Location was centrally located and near places to eat. It is within Walking Street, so the road is closed off during the weekend.
The walls were very thin. The receptionist was okay, however the hotel manager threaten to call the police when he realized he and his staff forgot to charge us for our stay. They did remember to charge us for the Oreo's we had :)
We have since been contacted by him through WhatsApp with similar messages. They also didn't communicate how we were to pay for the tour we took. So we paid the tour guide, not to hotel. This was also later an issue.
Be sure they charge you correctly.

Nice location, good breakfast and nice people.
Bed mattress had soft springs, not very comfortable. Room window facing hallway. They charge extra 3% if you want to pay for your stay by card (any kind of card), not fair. I paid card in multiple other hotels in Vietnam and this was the only one that does it.

The cleaning lady's and general staff are all good people.
The management encouraged me to say I had canceled my booking. They had me to pay by cash. I know now why, They overcharged me about 2 Million Vietnam Dong. I will never stay There again and I would like to have some feedback from you people at Booking. Com. I look forward to your reply to This Mail as soon as possible, as you can understand I am not a happy person after I thought was a good Hotel. Many Thanks
David Bennett.

I dont know where to start! My stay there was absolutely exceptional! I had the best time there. Planned to stay for 3 days, turned out to be two weeks! The staff is super super friendly and very helpful. Thoi and his team made sure, I was feeling safe and sound. I even booked tours with them, which I only can recommend. Especially the Ha Giang motorbike tour (3 days), was phenomenal! Because I was travelling by myself (as a young woman), Thoi messaged me throughout the trip to make sure, I was feeling safe and everything was good! There is a laundry service, nice breakfast and a rooftop bar. The hotel in itself is very clean and very nicely designed. I especially loved the rooms! Coming from a graphic designer: I couldnt have done it better. So the aesthetics of rooms is somewhat important to me! I really loved the rooms and it made me feel right at home. I will come back to Vietnam and I will stay with the Matilda Hotel Team aagin for sure! Thanks again for making my experience in Hanoi absolutely fantastic!
nothing! everything was absolutely fabuolous!

very clean property, good location and the breakfast was good too
unfortunately the first room we had stayed in there was a really loud ventilation instalment near our room that was very noisy so we could not sleep during the night, thankfully the staff did move us to another room where we slept well, just be cautious when you stay here and make sure you’re not next the ventilation unit

Location
Unfortunately, we had a safety incident, where the night manager issued a key to another guest for our room. The other guest came into our room while we were sleeping, AND the hotel did nothing about it. No apologies or further gathering of information about how this error happened.

Room is clean and spacious. Toilet and bath is quite big. Great location: easy pick-up and drop-off for your day tours, restaurants are everywhere. Staff are excellent, very helpful and professional. The buffet breakfast is good.
They can work on the soundproofing of the rooms.
