Gunstige ligging en makkelijke check in

Wij hadden appartement 2 en dat is grondig aan vervanging toe. Het verblijf kwam totaal niet overeen met wat wij geboekt hadden. De kookplaat was gebroken, geen roosters in afzuigkap, de vaatwasser viel bijna uit elkaar, de slang van de afzuigkap was gescheurd en zat met ductape tegen het plafond geplakt, het rolluik hing helemaal scheef en durfden wij niet dicht te doen, het was er smerig en over de bank was een dekentje gelegd om de vieze vlekken en gaten te verhullen. Daarnaast was er geen tv en geen waterkoker aanwezig. Dit stond wel bij de boeking.

Wir haben uns trotz der „Mängel“ wohlgefühlt; für einen Kurztrip eignet sich die Wohnung bestens.

Eine angenehme Wohnung mit einer guten Raumaufteilung. In der Küche ist eine Grundausstattung zum Kochen/Essen vorhanden. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe, man ist daher schnell im Zentrum. Unkomplizierte Übergabe der Wohnung.

Der Nachteil der guten Lage ist der Verkehrslärm. Er beginnt bereits am frühen Morgen, trotz geschlossener Fenster sehr gut hörbar. Eine Kirche befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Glockengeläut um 07.00 ist zwar schön zum Anhören, je nach dem, in welchem Zimmer man schläft, wird man davon aber geweckt. Der Esstisch bietet genügend Platz zum Essen, spielen, etc. Die Stühle sind aber leider etwas unbequem. Eine Ecke des Infuktionsfeldes (Herd) ist abgebrochen, es wurde nicht repariert, das Stück liegt lose beim Herd. Kochen kann man aber trotzdem. Der Dampfabzug ist auch nicht in einwandfreiem Zustand. Die zur Verfügung gestellte Kaffeemaschine hat leider nicht funktioniert. Die Toilettenspülung rinnt zeitweise nach. Beim Eintreten riecht die Wohnung etwas eigenartig.

Great location on the outskirts of luxembourg

Great property, very nice and modern inside. Right above the owners restaurant where you collect the keys. Secure parking and lovely lift. A great place to stay when in Luxembourg

There was only one bowl in the kitchen which was very strange, but we washed inbetween eating breakfast :D

Estancia maravillosa, de 10.

Piso enorme en una ubicación maravillosa con paradas de bus a tan solo 70m del alojamiento y muy cerca del centro de la ciudad. Nos dejeron cápsulas de café gratis y toallas de sobra para todas. La chica de la limpieza fue muy amable con nosotras, nos ayudó siempre que lo necesitamos.

El sofá cama es un poco duro, pero lo bueno supera con creces lo malo, 100% recomendable.

Run down but size ok

Quite big

The appartment was run down and in bad repair. There wasn't a washing machine in the appartment, not enough chairs , not enough cups and glasses. Some lightbulbs were broken or missing. Tje dishwasher did not work properly, dishes came out still dirty. The sofa bed was squeaking so loudly that it impaired sleep. The shutters did not work in the living room. After complaining we got some more glasses and cups and the lightbulbs were exchanged.

nice size of the apartment. 2 bed rooms were very nice and clean. kitchen is also very nice. lift to reach the apartment

on the main road, and red light is just in front of it so lots of car noise(have to open window because of temperature) Toilet seat can be clean

Superb

Facilities were great, very spacious and had everything we needed as a stop on a two week road trip. Parked in the parking garage under the restaurant and owners allowed us to use laundry facilities as there were none in our unit. Very clean. Bed was comfortable.

Traffic noise from the street outside, when balcony doors were open, which we needed for air since it was hot in July. Would not stop us from staying there again, though. Good overall.

Great place to stay in Luxembourg

The apartment is great. Lots of space and confortable bedrooms. It is conveniently located close to a bus stop that takes you to the city center - public transport is free for everyone in Luxembourg.

Spacious place for short or longer stay with good basic facility and parking

The apartment's spacious enough for the 5 of us. The kitchenette looked functional but we didn't cook. The shower's good but rather basic.

One of the bedrooms is having a window supposedly to be facing the doorway leading to the entrance and to ensure privacy (not being seen) it's blocked by metallic blind. It's a bit odd and when neighbours come home late, you will see the light's switched on and hear the noises they make along the corridor.

I would not return as it was quite overpriced. We had to find parking on the street, much too loud.

There were no amenities for the shower. The room was over the restaurant and outdoor dining. Was quite loud The wall socket in the bathroom is broken and hanging out of the wall. There were no fans in this very hot apartment.

Clean, spacious but needs some tlc

A very spacious and very clean apartment! Check in went smoothly. They set up a baby cot for our little one.

The apartment itself needs some TLC, if you opened 1 door in the kitchen, the other almost fell out. We think/ hope it is partly under construction. There was a big & loud party in the restaurant below, luckily not until late in the evening.

Reclusive owner, incorrect information of facilities, poorly planned and badly furnished apartment

Space to move about Attitude of the staff, particularly Ms Anna, the part time maid and the server at the restaurant below who tried to overcome the language barrier and did their best to help. The owner's wife was also quite pleasant to talk to and tried to be helpful.

Facilities promised were not given. There was no dishwasher. It was not disclosed that the washing machine had to be accessed through a public toilet. This caused considerable inconvenience and waste of time waiting for the wash and then the drying cycles to get completed before leaving for touristy stuff. Inadequate furniture - no luggage racks, no wardrobe in the second bedroom, no fittings in the shower cubicle for keeping soap/shampoo. Worn out sofa, cracked laminate on the dining table, misaligned shutters of the kitchen cabinet, fused bulbs - not replaced though promised. Faulty door handle on the door to the balcony leading to security concerns. No concern for convenience of tourists by providing information about local transport, restaurants, touristy spots. Restaurant on the ground floor - run by the same owner was closed 2 out of the 3 days that we stayed. The owner was inaccessible to the guests - did not take the calls (however he did accept calls from his restaurant workers). Not disclosed that tap water was not potable and also no courtesy of providing a couple of bottles of drinking water to tide over before the shops opened. From a tourist's point of view, location is also far away from the places one would want to visit

It could be better...

A very spacious apartment in a good location which is easy to access to the city centre by bus. Few parking spots on the street that was free during the weekend.

We found many pet hairs on both beds, which made us uncomfortable and a little paranoid about cleanness. It was because we also saw other long hair in our bed and a used pod inside the coffee machine. I understand it is not a luxury hotel, but how the host communicated with me was rude and made an unpleasant stay. It's low-budget accommodation, you should keep in mind.

Easy access to city centre

Great transport links into the city centre. Public transport in Luxembourg is free and there is a bus stop about 100m from the apartment. Host was very helpful when we accidentally locked ourselves into the apartment. Little tip, don't close the front door with the key on the outside. Apartment was clean with a good amount of space.

It was a little noisy at times - church nearby with bells starting at 0700 and traffic on the road too.

Could do with some maintenance.

The host and staff I'm general were very helpful. On Christmas day we ran out of toilet paper and they came over to the rescue which we really appreciated.

It is a lovely flat but it could do with some maintenance and better cleaning. The washing up liquid and bin bags ere not replenished before our arrival which meant we had to ask for more on Xmas day.
