The best place we have stayed in when visiting York.

Its location was quiet and next to the river. The building was new and attractive. The room was spacious, as was the bed ,with all the facilities you find at home. There was even an emergency food shop. Would definitely stay here again.

La alarma para incendio de disparo 4 veces por que al tener cocina, algún huésped estaba cocinando y se activaron. Fue un susto.

Séjour parfait !

Parfait ! La chambre était propre et bien équipée. Le lit était confortable. Le personnel était chaleureux. Le matin on pouvait prendre une boisson chaude et des croissants !

Clean, close to centre and quiet

Location was great, only 10 minutes from the centre buy foot or reception were happy to organise a taxi, one of which arrived in less than 5 minutes. Room was clean, we had been upgraded when we arrived and ended up with a loft room which was beautiful and spacious. Staff were kind and check in and out was super speedy. Car was parked safely underneath the building and didn't have to worry about it. Bathroom was spotless and so was the kitchenette. Very quiet as it was next to the river.

Bed was a little hard and I would of liked bottled water in the room but that is just personal preference! Fire alarm went off once in the middle of the night but lasted only a few seconds, unsure what that was!

5***** I have stayed in 4 different rooms and each one fantastic especially the Loft and superior apartment, the cleanli

This has been my 4th time to Roomzzz and it never disappoints, always immaculately clean, The location is perfect Reception is great, especially Jordan who goes above and beyond to help, The only negative is not been able to get a cooked breakfast after checking out but a nice touch getting a complimentary coffee and croissant, Looking forward to my next stay 😀

Nice hotel but probably wouldn’t stay again due to the bed.

Very close to the city - only around 15/20 minute walk into the centre via the river. Free hot chocolate was a bonus - really nice quality too!

The bed was very uncomfortable, very hard mattress. We didn’t sleep well in all honesty.

Lovely clean high standard apartments. Everything you need....inc iron and hairdryer not to mention coffee machine in reception. Friendly helpful staff if need assistance. Underground secure parking if room. 10 min walk to centre. Our 2nd visit....my automatic go to place to stay now in York.

Easy and nice space to explore an amazing city

Everything from the heated floor in the bathroom to the little kitchen with dishwasher which just made our stay so easy. It was clean, tidy and the perfect place to explore the city from.

The only problem and it wasn’t even really a problem was 2 beds for 3 people. Now we are all friends so this really wasn’t a problem at all but it would have been good to have the ability or option to have twin beds and a sofa bed. This is really not a dislike just something we would have liked to see as an option

Good stay Was

Location was great just across river from city centre but in a very quiet area. Croissants in the morning were an added bonus and secure parking was good at a rate of £15 per day same as city centre parking.. very clean with all facilities needed.

Heating wasn't too good. Cold night and room felt chilly early evening. Warmed up later but had to turn off as fan was noisy. Bathroom was toastie and water was hot.

Relaxing, great comfy and quiet night's sleep in good location

comfy bed. Big room. Good temperature control. Coffee good. Communal areas pleasant and location was great.

car park was out of action due to a flood. Whilst this wasnt their fault, the public car parks were considerably more expensive than what we would have paid the hotel if theirs was open. The pantry/shop was closed on the sunday morning.

Very comfy nice hotel

Lovely room, very comfy bed! nice fresh croissants and hot drink for the morning was a nice touch as well.

Gym was closed due to the floods which was a bit annoying since we got told it was open when we arrived but when we checked it, it was full of cleaning supplies due to being no room for the supplies to be kept which I can understand.

For what we needed it was nice

Location is very nice by a river, close to york centre, the hotel decor is lovely, clean, staff are helpful and give advice when needed, the room we had was nice, clean, bathroom and kitchen area, lots of space

I had to pay £15 a night extra for parking, only had croissants on offer for breakfast, and hot drinks machine doesn't make a nice tasting drink

We loved the room itself- it was so spacious and well decorated- it made us feel like we had paid more than we actually had . The staff were so polite and helpful. The location is great 10 min walk into the centre, on a pretty riverside! Everything was comfortable and we slept well, the thermostats were easy to use. We only stayed one night but would happily stay a lot longer!

There was a few little hairs on the bed as well as cobwebs on the low down light shade. Didn’t really bother us but maybe would others. Maybe put a conditioner in the bathroom- but again my own fault for not checking if you supplied both shampoo and conditioner

Parking situation, we arrived at 3.30pm, check in was 3, when we arrived the parking garage was full meaning we had to park 15 minute walk away.

Lovely and comfortable.

Very modern and comfortable, loved staying there, great big rooms, great if you have a few of the river also, watch the boats go by and people, right in the town so you can walk to all the action. Great to having free coffee machine, great selection on breakfast bits which you can take to your room to finish off.

Excellent service, amazing staff (Emma at the front desk was particularly helpful), very kids friendly, safe and comfortable room. Loved the stay, will go back.

Great staff shame about the condition of the balcony.

Informative and cheerful staff.

Unable to use the balcony. Full of bird poo. Regulations did not allow you to sit outside which was one of the reasons why I booked the room overlooking the river.

A good memorable stay. Highly Recommended.

A quiet and comfortable hotel-apartment with kitchen facilities , within walking distance to city center. With sheltered Car park which is ideal in rainy days. Cozy and comfy lobby for breakfast and relax, very good.

Perfect stay for visit to York

The room was really spacious and kitchen facilities were great. Fab shower and everything really clean. Staff in hotel really friendly and helpful. Loved having the free coffees and pastries in morning. Coffee was freely available from machine any time! Great wee coffee shop with snacks and food available 9-5 but could buy snacks/juice anytime as reception always manned. Really was a great place to stay. Was a bit worried bit far from town centre but is only about 15 mins walk which is nice along river.

Really can't say there was anything I was disappointed with.

lovely clean room but staff are a let down

the location of the property was good for me and my partner as we were close to the city centre.

the reception staff were rude to us upon arrival of check in when we were trying to ask questions of the area and the hotel they were blunt and laughing at us for asking. it was a uncomfortable check in
