Another outstanding stay at Wicker Cottage-thank you Michelle and Keith!

We enjoyed the week we spent at Wicker Cottage. Recommend staying here if you want privacy away from traffic and tourists, but a few minutes walk to all that Camden has to offer.

Beautiful cottage very near the harbor and the main street area. Very quiet and cozy, clean, and a perfect get away in coastal Maine. I would highly recommend this cottage for your stay in Camden.

Following our GPS, we drove through the picturesque town of Camden, where the streets buzzed with life and the harbor was filled with magnificent sailing vessels.
Our approach to Wicker Cottage was filled with joyous anticipation, and it did not disappoint. The cottage is beautiful, artistically decorated, and a delight to stay in. Every detail was crafted with loving attention. Michelle was wonderful, offering excellent advice about local attractions, restaurants, and shopping.
The gardens are lush, with plenty of sunny nooks perfect for reading or enjoying a coffee.
If we could give a 6-star rating, we would.
We will be back next year and plan to stay longer than our six days of bliss.

Wonderful stay!

Everything in Camden was walkable from the house so we didn't have to use the car much at all. It got pretty hot some days so we walked to Laite Beach to swim, surprisingly uncrowded beach. Lots of good food options in town. The hike up Mt. Battie was quite punishing for a couple of 60+ people but we recovered with some ice cream at River Ducks. Overall a great week at Wicker House.

This was a very comfortable and well equipped cottage. It was only a short walking distance to the harbor and the town. Highly recommended.

This was our 3rd stay in Camden at Wicker Cottage and, once again, it was lovely. The cottage is charming, well appointed, immaculate and perfectly positioned for easy walks down to Camden Harbor or for scenic drives along the Maine coast. As always, our host was most attentive and gracious. We'll be back in 2025!

Great place with an easy walk to all the town happenings. Very clean and overall just an amazing place. Would definitely stay again.

Our visit to Camden was truly enhanced by our stay at Wicker. The Cottage was attractive, very clean and well outfitted, especially the kitchen. There were numerous places to relax, both inside and outside the house. The neighborhood was a ten minute walk from the downtown area with its numerous restaurants. And we had excellent communication with the owner. In all, a first rate VRBO experience.

We had a lovely time staying in this charming house on a quiet street, which is just so nice that it is walking distance right into town/the harbor.
Michelle’s home was so accommodating and she was very available if we had any questions. We will be back!
And in case anyone loves to cook, there are so many dishes and pots and pans including two cast-irons which we used the most! Plenty of wine glasses etc.
The lady across the street asked to keep the porch light off because it shines in her bedroom window. Just fyi for future guests!

A beautiful cottage, lovely gardens and close to town.

The property was in a great location and had everything you could possibly want. The decor fit a water/mountain location theme and yard landscaped beautifully. Our host reached out to check in as to how we were doing. Maine sites were breath taking. We really enjoyed our visit. This was our first time reserving a vacation spot through VRBO and is was a good experience.

This is our second time staying at Wicker Cottage - we walked in and said "We're home!". The cottage is charming, beautifully maintained, scrupulously clean, thoroughly stocked and within an easy 5 minute walk to Camden Village and the harbor. Couldn't have asked for anything more - we'll be back again!

Upon entry to house my wife and I noticed a peculiar smell. Kinda overwhelming actually. We thought perhaps it was the disinfectant used to clean the property. After opening windows and airing it out, the odor was still bad! Unfortunately, after three days, gwe were unable to tolerate the odor and left a day early. The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood and is vey well equipped! However, the stairs leading to upstair bedrooms are very narrow and steep, not much room for me to carry carry-on luggage.

Wicker Cottage was the ideal place for my husband and I to spend a week reminiscing about his proposal to me 34 yrs ago on Camden Harbor with autumn colors all around and perfect fall weather.
The cottage was most welcoming and cozy. Early evening cocktails and dining harbor side were a mere 5 minute walk away. We travel often. Our Autumn 2022 week in Camden will long live as one of the best.

We loved staying at the Barn. It is spotless and cozy. The deck faces East so there is cheerful morning sun in the space. The cute little range works very well and we cooked several of our meals there. The location was great for my painting class in Rockland and my husbands woodworking class in Rockport. Also close to the grocery store, restaurants, museums and the coast. It was just great. Our host and hostess were very welcoming and helpful to us.

Almost Perfect
The cottage was adorable, exactly as pictured, and in a fabulous location on a quiet side-street but only a 5-minute walk to downtown. And Camden is an ideal base for trips to the islands, Castine, even a day trip to Acadia National Park. (Just be aware that the stairs are VERY steep, almost like a ladder. We're an older couple & they were a challenge. I'd also be concerned about young children.)

Just lovely!
Wicker Cottage is as lovely in person as it appears on VRBO. The owner has it extremely well appointed with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and elsewhere. The furnishings are comfortable, the grounds are beautifully planted and the location is within an easy walk to Camden harbor and the center of the village. Thoughtful touches are everywhere - we couldn't have been more pleased!

Great experience
Great location. Excellent light. Enjoyed the comfy beds. Stairs to upstairs are steep, so keep in mind if young children or mobility issues. Enjoyed going for walks in Camden and easy access to restaurants downtown. Easy to use as work from home location with good separation of space downstairs if needed. Would stay again!

Close to historic downtown.
The Wicker Cottage is situated in a quiet neighborhood and had everything we needed to make our stay a pleasant one. We especially liked that you can walk to historic downtown in less than 5 minutes. If you like trail hiking, the Mount Battie trail head is just a short walk up the street from the house. And of course Susan was very quick to reply to any questions we had about the place and surroundings. This is a place we would not hesitate to stay at again on our next trip to Camden.

Cozy Cottage in a Beautiful Maine town.
We had a very nice time in the house and surrounding area. The cottage is as advertised - very comfy! The location is convenient to sights up and down the coast and there are a number of nice restaurants and a couple of lobster shacks within 1/2 hour of the cottage.

Lovely Camden Cottage
Such a sweet cottage in the seaside village of Camden. It was close to town, the waterfront/marina, restaurants & shops. Very nice little bay for booking a sailboat ride. The cottage was roomy with two sitting rooms, the beds were comfortable, nice bathrooms & kitchen, and a great location! Such a nice, comfy place to unwind and relax after a day of being out. Don't miss the mint brownies at the Deli in town!

Camden Hideaway
Perfect location. Three blocks away from downtown Camden. The cottage was well stocked with supplies, dishwares, silver ware, kitchen essentials, and appropriate cleaning goods. The kitchen eating area was certainly adequate for four people to eat. Plenty of space upstairs and downstairs. Quaint little sitting area, den with television, cd player, and copy seating. Upstairs there were two good sized bedrooms with shared bathroom with shower. It was very hot and humid during our stay; we enjoyed having air-conditioning unit in kitchen and each bedroom . Outside small patio with table chairs and grill. The shed had recreational items for use ( we did not use them). We highly recommend this cottage. The communication between us and the owner was fantastic; immediate response for all our questions.

We completely loved our experience in this cottage. It was clean and bright, and just a short walk from downtown Camden and the Mount Battie trail head.

wonderful week in Camden
We enjoyed our stay in the cottage and would recommend this to anyone coming to Camden. The location was perfect for us -- close walking distance to restaurants and shops and a quick drive to Rockport, Rockland and other surrounding towns. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. At one point the Internet went down and the property manager got back to us right away to fix the problem. We really appreciated the quick response.

Amazing trip to Camden
We have been visiting Camden July 4th week for 5 years and this was our first stay at the Wicker Cottage. In short, it was an amazing time. We were close to hiking, the lake, beach, downtown etc and the cottage was a perfect size for our family of four. Michelle has done a lovely job making her home feel welcoming and relaxing and we hope to come back soon!

From the moment you drive into the property you are surrounded by the fresh air and beautiful flowers in the gardens. The cottage is even better than the photos. It is very rhoufhrfully decorated and the kitchen has everything you would ever want or need. The property was also very clean and the location ia ideal. We would walk into Xamxsn town in minutes We would highly recommend this property and hope to someday come back again!

We've stayed in VRBO's all across America and in Europe too. Occasionally, we find one that we wish we could visit repeatedly (or forever) and WICKER COTTAGE is on that list. I hesitate to leave this review, because if word get out about this place, I might not get another reservation! This house is ideally situated about a block and a half from Camden's quaint high street shopping, restaurants and harbor. While both bedrooms are located upstairs, this was perfect for us as I am an early riser and enjoyed my quiet moments downstairs with my coffee, while the hubby slept blissfully upstairs. I AM A SHEET SNOB and Michelle's linens did not disappoint. They felt like butter and I ordered a similar set on-line as soon as I returned home! The kitchen is fabulously stocked. I am one of those weirdos who enjoys cooking (some) on vacation - gas stove, crockpot on-hand, and even an outdoor grill, which satisfied our need for steak one night - visit French and Brawn for the best cuts of meat in town. The decor is on-point for a relaxing home near the sea. The upstairs bathroom has a wonderful clawfoot tub AND a separate shower. The wide plank (pine?) floors are the stuff that Chip and Joanna Gains dream of finding in their Waco renovations. Michelle has loads of coastal magazines, area maps, and menus available if you are a first time visitor. I could keep going, but you get the picture...now, GET A RESERVATION!
