Όμορφο κατάλυμα αλλά μην πάτε αν δεν έχετε αυτοκίνητο.

Πολύ προσεγμένη μονάδα με καθαρά δωμάτια και ωραίο, περιποιημένο κήπο. Ευγενής και εξυπηρετική η ιδιοκτήτρια.

1) Η τοποθεσία της μονάδας, αν και πολύ κοντά στη στάση του λεωφορείου, είναι δύσκολα προσβάσιμη με τα πόδια, αφού για 80 σχεδόν μέτρα πρέπει να σκαρφαλώνεις μια πολύ απότομη ανηφόρα. Αυτό δεν αναφερόταν πουθενά στην περιγραφή (βλέπω οτι έγινε μετά από την έντονη παρατήρησή μου). Και ενώ παρακάλεσα τον διαχειριστή της μονάδας να μας μεταφέρει σε κάποιο άλλο κατάλυμα της δικαιοδοσίας του, λόγω μυοσκελετικών προβλημάτων (που σημειωτέον είχαμε τονίσει κατά την κράτηση), η αρνητική απάντησή του ήταν αγενέστατη και ειρωνική. Η ιδιοκτήτρια έδειξε κατανόηση αλλά δεν είχε την δυνατότητα να παρέμβει. 2) Παντελής έλλειψη σήματος Wi-Fi, τουλάχιστον στο δωμάτιο 1.

Not very nice lady in charge

Rooms were clean, the location is very nice together with the view from balcony.

Airconditioning didn't work. If you are not fan of mosquitoes or extremely hot nights, it's a big problem. The other big problem was our interaction with some lady in charge of this accomodation. According to their booking page, we could check out between 11-12 am. She was very rude to us, when se told her, se would like to check out till 12, because they have someone new coming the same day little bit earlier. Then she stop talking to me when I wanted to discuss time, when it would be okay for both sides. Noone inform us about this in advance (she told us this information the day of check out at 9:30), neither politely ask if we could leave earlier, because it's change of accomodation condition from their side, not ours.

Highly recommend

Perfect view from every single window. Quiet and green area. Just 50 meters downside the property you could find supermarkets, the bus station no 5 and crossing the street there was a way to Megali Ammos beach. The apartment was cleaned/arranged every single day (except Sunday), I highly recommend for families.

Indeed, the 50 meters of climbing the hill to the property are not so easy, but we did it with our 5 years old child, so if no serious health problems, than it will be fine. Also, good to mention that yes, the Skiathos Town is at max 20 min of walking, but you don't want to do that, there are no sidewalks. Better take the bus, 2 euro, max 10 min of waiting, until 1:00 late in the night.

Nice but could be improved

- price is quite good for Skiathos - the apartment is cleaned daily, and towels are changed more or less every two days - 1st floor apartment with two balconies, each with sea and garden view, a table and two chairs; both in the shade for most of the day except in the morning - Bus stop at the end of the road which takes to the city in 5-10min (Koukounaries bus); otherwise it's a 20min walk using a secondary road parallel to the main one (which is has no sidewal and is quite dangerous) - very neat garden with a few seats - close to Megali Ammos beach and bars/restaurants

- the house is located on a very very steep road, at least 10m over the main road, and you have to walk about 70m to reach the house; also, it's a two-way road but has only one lane (so be carefull if you have a car) - the shower is completely open on one side and the bathroom floor gets easily wet - the bathroom door doesn't close properly - there is plenty of mosquitoes during the night but only the bedroom has a mosquito net, which is useless because it doesn't close - the air conditioning didn't work, and only the bedroom has it - the wi-fi doesn't work very well - the place can be quite windy, so you need to be carefull with the windows as they are not very sturdy; some doorstops should be added - a waste bin in the kitchen would be useful - the check-in was non-existent - there were some flyers with indications (wifi passwords, plumbing, ...) but were hidden in some drawers: it would be better to leave them in full sight - not a fault of the owners, but our neighbours were extremely loud in the middle of the night

Very good choice :)

The host was super friendly, always ready to help. The location was excellent, at the 5th bus station, very close to the old town (25 min of walking, 5 min by car, 15 min by bus), 10 min away from the airport by car and 30 min by bus. Very close to the most popular beaches. The view was breathtaking, you have the sun and sea in front from the balcony and the montains in the back from the entrance. The room was decent, comfortable beds and pillows. They clean the room and change the sheets and towels every 2 days. The kitchinette well equipped for 3 adults.

The air conditioner was quite poor, couldn't handle the heat we had while staying there. The shower was very small and and curtain almost sticks to your body while showering. Also, that curtain starts to smell bad after 2 days. It would've been great if we had a hairdryer in the room and maybe an iron for our clothes too.

Peaceful

The cardio workout up the 1 in 2 hill from the main road and the 07:30 jack russell wake up call, so that one got the most out of the day. Shops and beach were close by, with a 15 min walk to the port or 30 min walk to the airport. View over the bay was nice along with a cool breeze when the doors on both sides of the apartment were open. Bus stop 5 was at the start of the hill that would take you to town or Banana Beach

Fabulous

Great location and view, beautiful and spacious garden and very clean place - housekeeping every day!

The upper floors can get very hot! And the road to the facility is very steep - either on foot or for car:) They had some problems with the wifi - bear in mind if it is crucial for you.
