Quiet little oasis. The hotel was wonderful and unique and the food was excellent. We enjoyed very much to stay there for 2 nights.
The street was very close but the hotel was conveniently located almost next to the ferry.

Breakfast was excellent, food was really good for lunch and dinner too, nice quiet beach with boardwalk and hammocks. Well maintained, clean, friendly, idyllic. Pool fine too, water bit warm in July.
It’s a very quiet part of Costa Rica, good to explore yet expect very local experiences and not too much tourism.
4.5
the fact it’s a Boutique hotel but on a big open garden/private beach, made us feel we had the place for ourselves. beautiful garden
you can sometimes hear the busy road from the restaurant/pool area

Very slow restaurant service , the pool not accessible

Nice warm Pools next to beach
Windows towards bathrooms are full transparent so everyone can watch in

Very relaxing! The food was particularly good (except the reheated patacones -- don't know why they can't cook these freshly). Try the fresco de pitahaya and the sopa de mariscos (though, not necessarily together)!
The beach is not a sandy beach for walking on, rather it is comprised of lots of shells and a few stones, which make going barefoot less than desirable. Bring some water shoes and you'll be fine.

it was the most beautiful oasis of my e tire trip. stunning beauty. and a white beach with only 17 rooms of people to share it with.
And the staff is incredibly attentive and charming. As is the owner.
there’s no gym.

Good option for those taking an early morning ferry from Playa Naranjo or arriving late from Puntarenas. The room was nice and comfortable, the kids really enjoyed the pool area.
The restaurant is overpriced. The dinner menu sounds great on paper but the reality is rather underwhelming. We preordered breakfast for 7 am as we had to catch the 8 am ferry but it wasn't ready before 7.15 so we ended up having 5 minutes to eat it. The beach is not very suitable for swimming/bathing.

OPacifico has an amazing domain close to the sea, with flowers and beautiful trees. The swimming pool is very adapted for kids. My kid had a great great time there and me too because of that. The people are very kind and trustworthy. I recommend, and hope to be back one day.

Super friendly staff. Small but beautiful and modern rooms with verandas. Unique property with lots of Fauna & Flora plus exclusive beach access and Pools.
Our highlight: the restaurant. Super delicious and very friendly staff

Beautiful Hotel with a magnificent view on the sea.
The cleanest and best managed I found in Costa Rica during my trips, the ideal place to relax and forget the outside world. As a biologis it was a plus to find a phytoremediation plant. I hope to be back soon and thank all the staff for their kindness.

Beautiful lush grounds with cascades of flowers over the dining area… just beautiful!

beautiful location! the rooms were small but beautifully appointed! High thread count sheets and super soft and large towels! great shower! large patio ! I could go there to escape just me myself and I and be in heaven! great restaurant! the staff is fantastic!

Breakfast was great! The grounds were peaceful and beautiful. We arrived after hours and they accommodated us which we appreciate. Staff was friendly and patient with our many requests. The bed was wonderful too!
There is no TV in the room (didn't know that when booking). I realize this hotel is geared toward relaxation and tranquility so it was no problem. It gets dark early though so it would have been nice to have one.

The staff’s attention is exceptional. The location is perfect for guests who don’t have a car because it’s situated 5-10 minutes walk from a ferry port. Their meals are superb so there is no need to visit other restaurants. I couldn’t express more how we relished the stay there!

hmmm . I don’t have any negatives . the ocean water is not crystal clear but that is typical of this side of the country so don’t go expecting that

Nice facilities, beautiful location
Cooperation between reception and restaurant. at arrival we asked for a reservation for dinner. The response was that we need to do that in the restaurant. Why could the lady not take care of that for us?
The dinner was delicious but a bit more time between the courses would be appreciated. Dinner is not a sprint
5.0
gardens, pool, restaurant
nothing but need to improve staff qty at restaurant
