Bardzo miły właściciel, pokój duży I czysty.
Lokalizacja słaba. Bez auta ciężko się tu dostać.

Amazing breakfast!

The doberman they had at home, who would not always follow the owners' instructions

Very kind and hospital people and friendly dog.

It was nice shadowy place to escape the heat. The village is cozy and the view is very beautiful. Boris is very helpful and nice. The house and the balcony are very nice and the atmosphere of friendly. The breakfast was the best we have had in Armenia.
There was no air con or fan in the room and it was very hot. Some in our room couldn’t sleep because of that, but if you are used to it it’s not a problem.

Great location for Khor Virap. Hosts were extremely welcoming and provided us with a fantastic dinner and conversation.

This homestay accommodation was perfect. Hosts were very very kind and friendly, they provide us lovely homemade dinner and breakfast. The property includes a balcony with beautiful view of mount Ararat. Unfortunately we could not stay longer....

Great stay. Very kind, and welcoming hosts. Clean and tidy, all as we would wish. An amazing view onto the Ararat mountain from the terrace!

The hosts are fabulously nice and the dinner (not included, 3k for one course) was wholesome and filling.
But the bed was bad. I’m sorry but as a guesthouse the massive divot is just not up to standard, no matter how you try to cover it backs can tell.
Also the cold shower at night not the most pleasant.

The host was very kind and arranged the accommodation and dinner for us. They also took us to pick cherries, mulberries and apricots, which gave us a good experience.
The bed is hollow in the middle, making it uncomfortable to sleep.

This spacious mid-20th century family home filled with vintage furniture and works of art has been sympathetically converted such that it retains the aura of a family home whilst providing guests with large and comfortable private rooms. English speaking Boris and Sonja are gentle, charming hosts who, together with their adult children and grandchildren, could not have been more welcoming. Despite our last-minute booking Sonja conjured up a wholesome and tasty evening meal and our desire for an early breakfast was graciously accommodated. And what a treat breakfast comprising fresh eggs from the family hens, home-made jams and local cheeses. It is a lovely place to stay but there are two caveats. Firstly, the family is completed by Hector the Doberman a lovely loyal, but very sensitive boy who dog people will simply adore. Secondly, the guest rooms share, one WC/washroom and one shower which may not be everybody’s ideal. Neither were a dealbreaker for us and we really enjoyed our all too brief time there.

Boris and Sonia were so welcoming and friendly. Sonia is a great cook. The room were very big, the bathroom is shared with the other guest.
Cold water...

We received a very friendly welcome, since we hadn't eaten anything during the day, they cooked for us. very tasty but way too much. 🙈 the host and his wife were very friendly and we really liked the house. gladly again.

Thank you for a wonderful experience and the opportunity to share time with Boris and his family. Delicious food and especially amazing conversations about Armenia's history, people and country. We thank you

The hosts Boris and Sonia are very friendly and welcoming, they made me feel at home. They also helped me to organize trips to nearby nature reserves. Their house is spacious and clean, it has a great view on the Ararat mountain from the balcony. And they have a very nice dog!

It is not what we liked, it was who we liked. Mr. Boris and his doberman, Hector. Hector just darts around the house, if you are really scared of dogs, this is not the place for you.
Mr. Boris was amazing, he knew english fairly, made it easy for us to communicate. Showed us around the property. His wife made us a very lavish dinner (expensive but).
The house was very tough to reach and tougher to find in the night. A very silent village. The rooms were on the top floor. No toiletries were provided but that was fine.
But the beds, the rooms weren’t comfortable. Very cheap quality beds made sounds on every move.
The blankets were not much clean also. Overall it was cheap and definitely a cheap stay.

The owners are friendly
we had dinner at the guesthouse and payed for two people 11000, well this was actually our most expensive dinner on our whole 2 weeks Armenia trip. food was still good but we where just surprised about the price for a vegetarian dinner.
4.0
The host Boris offers homemade food (for us it was late dinner after check in) with meat and veggie options. It's paid extra but still a good option if you are tired and don't want to go out.
The host speaks communicatively in english, what is not so obvious in this country ;)
The owner of the house has a very big dog named Hektor. Hektor is crazy in a bad meaning, he chases cats, barks loudly, steals food from the table and looks fearfully.

the room was big and spacious, the host was welcoming
the entire floor including our room smelled weirdly, badly. The tarrace could have more sitting places than just for two people to chill out. Our bed sheets were covered with sth like dog hair, that was disgusting, I had to put my tshirt on the pillow before lying my face on it. Bathroom was dirty, there was a collecton(!) of dirty/used ear buds on the mirror shelf, and the shower was dirty and clogged with hair or sth. I would mot recommend that place, and O am not a very picky person who can bear various condictions in the place to stay
4.5
Firstly, the hosts (Boris and his wife Sonia(?)) are nice, not like typical petty business-people. Cooking was excellent. Moreover, Boris helped me to mend one trouble (due to my fault) to a farther extent than I expected him to do.
The site also has a view of Mt. Ararat.
Not a quiet place. Hector, a nervous dog, barks loudly and often. Also this dog sometimes clutter door- and stairways. On evenings there is an avid car traffic. The cattle mows. You can also hear freight trains in night.

In this accommodation you will experience the true spirit of an Armenian village. There are very hospitable owners, but also barking dogs and loud insects all night long.
It is not advisable to drink tap water. Local people go to the middle of the village to get drinking water
In the summer, you will miss the air conditioning

Best stay ever! Very clean and there you can find everything you need. The owners made traditional dinner and breakfast. The food was amazing. They let to stay as long as you want, tell everything about the country what you want to know, and has a very beautiful dog. Definately coming back next time :)

We were welcomed very warmly by the lovely couple Boris and Sona into their home. They spoke English fluently and were eager to make our stay the most comfortable possible! They welcomed us with fresh fruits from the garden, and Sona cooked the most incredible meal and breakfast we had in a long time (with lots of products directly from the garden)!
It was nice talking with them both, we learned a lot about Armenian History and cultural life during our stay at their house. They gave us good advice and recommendations for the rest of our trip in the country too.
The house is big and very clean. The rooms and beds are very comfortable, we had lots of space for our luggage, cosmetics and clothes.
If you are scared of dogs, know that there is a large dog, Hector, living there too. Although he is very obedient and lovely.

Welcoming and friendly owner couple. We talked the evening and shared stories. Dinner was delicious und really tasty! Good soup and beans with chicken and a lot of salad! Good to stay a night here and feel like staying at your grandparents house!!! A real Armenien experience 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Toilet wasn’t that clean. Mosquito net on the window would be grate to have!

Very kind hosts, great home-made food, Boris also recommended some places to see. If you want decent English and listen to some good piano music, ask for grandson Gregory :-)
Great position for via wineyards running trip to Khor Virap, on the main road to Yerevan. Also great views to Ararat.
Nothing negative, you have to consider that Aygavan is a small village with no facilities - if it's what you want - you found what you were looking for :-)

Truly hospitable locals, a retired couple has hosted us. This was far our best experience in Armenia. They prepared us dinner in the late evening. From the balcony you have views towards Little Ararat. The neighborhood is nice and quiet.

Boris and Sona are wonderful people who take you into their home and their lives as a family member. Boris was full of ideas of what to do in this area and we did some tours together. Sona is a great cook. All in all, a very relaxing place to stay.
Accommodation is basic which suits the price.

Really nice and friendly people.
It needs a bit of renovation (but it's taking place).

The very friendly hosts who went out of their way to make us welcome. The dinner and breakfast were exemplary.

The only advantage of this place is an owner and his wife and their dog. Family were very pleasant and helpful (took me to the place where I could change my money and showed us an awesome natural mineral springs nearby).
Also I really liked Dolma (national food). thank you
It's hard to call this place Guesthouse. I wonder how it works at winter. Coz our room's window was open or didn't exist at all.
House is super old, I mean old, too old, it seems that it will break down.
Very poor WiFi
