The room was absolutely awful, will never book here again!

The stairwell, the room, which I paid extra for, open windows to very VERY loud traffic, no air conditioning, no customer service. I left and had to get another hotel. Extreme WASTE OF MONEY! Pisses me off how much money I wasted on this room.

I got what I expected for the money, it was a bonus being so close to the Dock

The location to the Dock was excellent, really close 5 minute walk , great for walking to the cruise ship the next morning

There was no lift, a bit awkward with 2 cases as I was travelling solo

Cheap but Clean and low-key, not garish

It was cheap, clean, calm, simple

Complicated check in … maybe they could make some explanations in the lobby with easy pictures! Lucky a kind guest explained.

Cheap but not worth it

Was cheapish

Very noisy location on a busy junction. Single glazed windows not good. Quite dusty and felt neglected. Also one window would not close due to latch missing and was half open all night. Noise from traffic and people on streets outside kept me awake all night. Front door often found open despite keycode entry.

Location excellent for Dock 4 gate for cruise and also local restaurants and bars.

Good for a one-night stay at an unstaffed hotel if you don't mind stairs

The location was close to the rest of Southampton. The room was surprisingly big, though simple. The bed was comfortable enough.

The catch on the front door lock stuck, so it seemed the door remained locked even though the lock apparently worked. One had to push hard on the door. Since I didn't know this, I contacted the number on the door and they troubleshot it remotely with me, then got someone local there to fix the catch.

Good stay at Roost

The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and all the bedding was clean. The self-check-in was easy to follow and all the instructions were sent ahead of the stay

A perfect city stay - no complaints!

My room was impeccably clean and perfect for my overnight stay. The decor is modern and the furnishings just right!

The bathroom was very small and I caught my shoulder on the door towel rail when manoeuvring around in there.

Handy place to stay at a good price. No long checkin or checkout.

Easy check in, clean room and well located. Tea making facilities were a nice thought.

Great location and all rounder yet again.

The location is on point.., the cleanliness and the facilities in the room were very adequate. Even though there's no reception, the staff were very quick to respond with requests I had for extra amenties that I required.

The noise from the road and the pub downstairs.. It was just about bareable for me however I would recommend you take ear plugs.

Don’t book this accommodation if you require a VAT receipt as despite several emails to the property and assurances that they would provide a VAT receipt I never received it and now they don’t response to my emails.
