Lovely setting, and well thought out apartments.Top quality facilities, and very comfortable bed. We loved the beautiful walk through the gardens.

We liked the unexpected little luxuries such as a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival, finding bottled water at every bedside, a coffee maker with pods, etc. Plume Villas also had the most comfortable bed, and their linen was so crisp and white. In fact, every part of the accommodation was ultra clean and properly laid out. We really enjoyed our overnight stay and wished we could have stayed longer.
None at all. This is a beautiful place to stay at. If not, the best.

We loved the villas. They were beautiful, comfortable and luxurious

Attractive location
Inadequate kitchenette equipment. Excellent quality but unusable microwave-stove. There was no other cooking equipment at all.

Location was great for what we wanted to do while there.
A little pricy for the winter months I thought.

We had a problem with the electrical circuit and an electrician was there straight away to fix it. Awesome service.
We didn’t try the restaurant.
More cooking facilities, crockery and cutlery please!

It was so noticeable not having to have an air conditioner going all night to keep the room warm which most hotels you have to put up with - loved it - modern, comfortable, clean, spacious :)

Beautiful and peaceful with spacious rooms and lovely bathrooms.
Pool not in use in winter. Lounge furniture could have been more comfortable

The location and surroundings were very good. Bed was comfortable and most facilities excellent.
The "supplies" - soaps, shampoo etc. were pathetic! Two tiny packages of shampoo & conditioner, two small soaps and hair protector gave way putting it on. For the standard of villa and the cost, we would have expected MUCH more!

I booked the Kiwi Villa for 6 people and it was fabulous. Lovely big bedrooms for everyone and a separate bathroom for each room. Loved the deck off each of the rooms and beautiful views. The lounge/dining area was great - plenty of room for the 6 of us (especially as the weather was wet and we couldn't enjoy the lovely outdoor deck area).

The Villas are perfect for a weekend away of holiday. Very comfortable with some living space, and outdoor area to sit. And also not directly next to other rooms. So spaced out across the property. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Probably just thought the room rate was slightly on the high side for what we thought was not peak season. But that would be the only and very slightly negative point to note. Otherwise a very relaxing and comfortable stay.

very clean and tidy with high end finishes. Private beautiful setting. Thoughtfully furnished and they thought of things like extra tissues and mirrors and lights in closets. Lovely coffee machine.

brilliant, better than expected, they have thought of everything we could have wanted in a small property. we had a 1 bedroom on the edge with a deck that seemed to get a lot of sunshine, great for evening drinks. we also liked Matakana and the whole area
what a great place to stay

We stayed in a lovely two bedroom villa which was spacious, very clean and quiet, overlooking the gardens and rolling hills. A deck off the lounge area provide a relaxing spot to enjoy a glass or two of their delicious complimentary sparkling wine. The villa has a good kitchenette. We enjoyed our first stay so much we decided to book another two nights on our return trip to Auckland a week later. We were warmly welcomed each time by the wonderful and efficient managers, Denise and Nick who provided great tips about what to see around the area. Highly recommend Plume Villas and hope to return soon.
Nothing not to like but will plan ahead next time as unfortunately our stay didn’t coincided with the on-site restaurant opening hours.
