Ottimo

Camera con bagno privato sita in una zona non centralissima ma tranquilla. L'alloggio era pulito e in ordine, il bagno disponeva del necessario e il letto era comodo. L'host è stato davvero accogliente e ha saputo consigliarci tanti siti d'interesse e locali. Raccomandato!

Los anfitriones fueron muy amables y se preocuparon en todo momento por hacer nuestra estancia muy agradable

No queda claro a la hora de hacer la reserva que es una CASA PARTICULAR en la que alquilan una habitación. Creo que es más un fallo de booking que de los propietarios, pero no lo dejan claro hasta que completas las reserva

Very good

The hosts were extremely helpful with regard to suggestions on where to go etc. and the room was a good size with its own bathroom and was comfortable. Good WIFI and quiet area, reasonably close to the university for example. Also, previous reviews mentioned the lack of air conditioning- there is now a portable one.

This is not a criticism of the accommodation itself or the hosts, but I agree that it should be made more explicit on the website that this is a room in someone’s house and the owners live there as well. Nothing wrong with that, but it should stand out more in the description.

It’s ok

It’s ok for an overnight stay like we did. Bare essentials are there. Owner was super nice and helpful offering all kinds of information.

It lacks comfort. Just 1 set of pillows on the bed, so you have to prop up against the wall to watch tv or be comfortable on the bed other than sleeping. No AC. Could’ve used a trash can in the room. Shower was tiny (my son didn’t fit) and didn’t drain properly.

Room was lovely and spotless! Luis was very kind and understanding. Great play ! .

The location was excellent, very close to the university by walking. Luis was extremely kind and waited for us to arrive to explain everything (we arrived at 1:30am because our flight was delayed ). The room was spotless very clean! The mattres was very comfortable, we slept well!

Good stay, lovely experience overall with friendly hosts.

Hosts are super nice and friendly. It was a pleasure. Delicious breakfast and hosts were very accommodating to my needs. Spacious room. Clean and tidy. Good wifi. Got a visit from the neighbor's cat, which was a bonus.

Room is near a children's day care, so gets quite noisy during the say.

The only good thing I can tell is about the hosts, really friendly.

The location is horrible, really far from the city, in a very isolated area. The room is inside their own house, which makes a really awkward situation. We found some jacket and stuff from the previous guests or the owners in our room. There is no air conditioner, and you cannot open the windows because of the mosquitos. The bathroom and shower are really small. The check-in starts at 5:00pm which is really late. We paid for 2 days, but after the first day, we decided to lose the money and reserve another place to be able to enjoy Coimbra instead. I blame booking.com entirely for recommending this place with 9.0 points. That is ridiculous and I'm really disappointed. Some work to improve for data scientists in booking.com

Clean facilities with good hosts

We had coffee only for breakfast, Portuguese style! Kind and helpful hosts -even gave us link to tour city via google earth Very clean room and bath Comfortable bed

We got cold. A small space heater would help. And just a teeny trash can in bathroom, an audio Al one in bedroom would be helpful.

Amazing hosts

The hosts were absolutely amazing and super friendly. They offered an amazing stay where me and my friend stayed in a spacious and clean room with a beautiful view of the city. The hosts also gave us several indications of which places to visit in Coimbra. I would definitely stay at the property again. Highly recommend!

The hosts were lovely people. Accommodation as I would expected it to be and very clean. The surroundings were very quite so got a good night sleep.

There was nothing to dislike! I travelled by car to the place. Not sure if there is local transport to the centre.

Great hosts! They really made me feel at home. Nice, clean and bright room. Great value. Not too far from historic center. If I come back to Coimbra, I'll be looking forward to staying with Luis and Adriana again :-)
