Good value hotel.

Reception staff extremely friendly and helpful. Place is good value, food is good for both evening meals and breakfast. Smart rooms, irons as standard. Just a good value place.

Bar staff could be more friendly. They are quite abrupt and I’ve noticed it on more than one stay.

Bad nights sleep!

Good location, close to M5

Woken up by other guests in the early hours of Sunday morning, making a lot of noise for quite a long time, rooms are not well sound proofed, Food from restaurant not bad but just a little over cooked

A good value motel. Not a hotel. Would ask for a quieter room if I visit again.

Everything was as it should be. Good value. No stairs.

Doors banged and room 61 is next to one of the entrance doors. Not good for a light sleeper.

Overnight stay venturing to Newquay.

The room was comfortably situated away from the main reception and building so not disturbed by the two ongoing weddings and there was plenty of space, for parking and within the room, there was a good amount of drawer and cupboard space.

Hadn't felt like exploring the facilities, the bar or lounge area due to wedding taking place although comfortable with the room.

Very comfortable stay.

Very comfortable bed and well equiped and clean room. Staff were very friendly and efficient, especially the breakfast team. Food was excellent with a good evening menu which meant that I didn't need to go elsewhere for my evening meal.

On the expensive side.

The breakfast was very good, well prepared on hot plates. Service was excellent, a great way to start the day.

The double bed was a little on the small side l will book a different room next time.

Great little find.

The staff were extremely pleasant. Restaurant and bar were surprisingly good value for money. Room was big enough and comfortable for what we wanted. Will 100% return.

Little things like tops of cupboards etc not dusted, Missing a trick, due to location, they should offer a taxi service or strike a deal with local cabbie....

Good location, we stayed there before, was lovely, very helpful staff.

The second time we visited , we were given a room with no heating, it was -3 ° outside. When we complained, we were told heater is on a timer. We paid quite a lot of money, not for a freezing cold room, we were moved to a different room after half an hour, which was much better, and they switched the heaters on.

Easy to get to and easy access to Exeter.

Breakfast was lovely. Although the staff were very quick to clear away as soon at 10am came. The room was good and comfortable.

Breakfast staff were very quick to take away the breakfast foods as soon as 10 came. It would have been nice to have a few minutes to decide if we wanted anything extra. We paid for a large double. I didn't think it was particularly big.

Excellent value let down I little by the food.

Reception was very good. Impressed they could also speak German. Got shown where our room was.

Evening meal was just ok but a bit pricey. Breakfast was just ok croissants were raw in side not cooked. Service in restaurant and bar were just ok.
