Evening meal was nice but paid for separately.
The room was noisy due to the music kitchen staff were playing. Paid for a double room but only had 1 tea bag, one bath towel and one hand towel. Bathroom was not clean, shower had not been wiped down and alot of hair in the plug hole in the bottom of the shower. When asked if we could book an evening meal we were asked for a time even though the pub was empty! And we saw people turned away. We booked breakfast and decided on the continental when we were told there were no yogurts as they had gone out of date and been thrown out. I was fetched 2 croissants and offered no other alternatives.

The staff were lovely and very welcoming. We took our two dogs with us and the staff loved them, which made us feel much more at ease. The room was very clean and well equipped. Really good location for exploring. The restaurant is amazing! Really well priced and delicious food.
The bathroom in our room was very small, like one person at a time with no turning room small. However, it did what it needed to do.
There is no bin outside, not even just a general rubbish bin. The hotel takes dogs, the least they could do is have a bin so after we had picked up after our dogs, we could dispose of it.

The rooms are a bit tired, but made up for by the excellent staff who looked after us really well.

Upon arrival at 6.30pm we were advised sorry problem in kitchen they couldnt cook any food for us. Was advised to go to mcdonalds or pub up the road. If u come back after 10pm hotel is locked and alarmed, bar not available. Damaged bed, wallpaper off wall, 3x power cuts before breakfast. Toilet and shower were tiny smaller tgan that of a caravan. Arrived breakfast 9.20pm got served 10.30am, no yoghurt, no fruit, no black pudding, and only enough orange juice for 3 out of our party of 5. I Asked to speak to manager he was on a training course and the deputy manager was. Advised to put a complaint in if not happy

Didn't have breakfast because of the service the night before when we were left waiting 2 hours for our meal
The service ,we were waiting 2 hours for our meal and not one member of staff apologised for the delay and explained what the matter was and because we were staying there we were after a drink and unable to travel to look for somewhere else to eat

Enjoyed Breakfast and evening meal. I lost a contact lens in bedroom and the staff were very helpful . Matt searched and was eventually found by a room service lady. Thanks to them who posted lens for me.
The only problem for people walking the coastal path is that you have to walk about 1.5 miles to and from this place.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar was large and fairly quiet with ample parking. Food was reasonably priced and there were a number of offers available on both food and beverages.
The room was a reasonable size but was let down by the size of the en-suite which was very small and and in need of redecoration. the small wash basin and large taps were also an irritation.

The tall bar man from Somerset was really friendly and helpful. The pub was nice and the location convenient. It was cheap.
The room was tiny and not sure the bed was even a double. It certainly felt smaller. The road noise was loud and so was the noise from the extractor fan. There was no sanitary bin in the bathroom and when I queried this, I was told to just put everything in the open bin in the room (not very pleasant for my partner!) The noise from the toilet and shower next door was deafening. There were only two teabags in the room so not great if you wanted more than one drink each.

though on a busy road , it is a quiet hotel, well located for wandering around this area of Wales.

Good location, helpful and friendly staff. Good food. Bed linen was clean.
Rooms a little tired and in need of a revamp. Shower was either freezing cold or scalding hot and very difficult to get in/out of. Stains on bedroom carpets, headboard chipped, furniture dated and marked.

Food was good, staff friendly and helpful. Second reoom we were given was good, it was clean and warm and dry!
First room allocated was cold and had damp wall from leaky roof. Found bed sheet was wet next to headboard, bed base was soaked, possibly from leaky roof. Complained and were moved to different room which was fine. Road noise not good, would help if window hinges were greased so they would shut properly.
