Very nice and clean. Friendly and helpful Staff.

Breakfast a bit poor in choices and they have to be asked to bring stuff that was finished. Charging 7,5 eur per day for parking.

Pleasant

The staff was mostly very helpful. The VIP room was very spacious. The location was good.

The rooms need updated. They were tired looking. The hotel is very long and narrow so it was a strange layout. Very long walk from our room to the elevator. The only thing that was really bad is that the taxi came 30 mins after we ordered it the night before to make sure we would get to the airport on time. We were very late.

Robust breakfast buffet. Nurtritious and delicious.

There was one very unhelpful desk attendant but he was the exception. Everyone else bent over backwards to be friendly and helpful.

Super stay at excellent location

We actually stayed at the hotel from 24. March until 2. April 2023. All members of the staff were very friendly and service minded. Indoor swimming pool and hot tub (Jacuzzi) also very pleasant.

Good all round hotel for business or holiday

A very comfortable, quiet room with a lovely sea view. Hotel is inside the main part of town close to shops and restaurants. Ponta Delgada is a beautiful town, spotlessly clean. I could not find a piece of litter anywhere. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent choice for my business trip.

Dinner Buffet was a bit boring and limited selection. I expected more variety and higher standard meals. On the second night I chose to eat out at a local restaurant.

A wonderful location

Excellent hotel on the water. Restaurants well within walking distance as were markets. Room well laid out and furnished. Very comfortable all round. Staff at all levels outstanding and welcoming. Breakfast was superb.

A lovely experience that we very much appreciated

It was excellent overall and we loved our room with its super view. The Room Cleaners were great, as were the Bar Staff, and the Reception Team were also first-class. The Porters we had were very nice and helpful. The Indoor Pool was superb and the Gym good. The Hotel Location is brilliant.

We dined out most evenings but, on the one or two occasions that we dined in, the food quality was not great and the ambiance very lacking for dinner. The one area of the hotel that had a real problem was Breakfast. It was almost exactly the same each day with not enough variety and there was a significant negative attitude on the part of some of the Staff. They seemed like an unhappy team unlike everywhere else in the Hotel.

A smart hotel choice for a stay in Ponta Delgada

The suite was spacious and had all the things you'd want - clean rooms, comfortable bed, a full-length mirror, magnified and lighted makeup mirror in the bathroom, plenty of lighting options and power outlets, simple and understandable climate control. The front desk was extremely friendly and helpful.

The glass door separating the toilet from the rest of the bathroom is an accident waiting to happen because it swings both ways, it can (and did) crash into the bidet and gets in the way of the main bathroom door. It is not useful at all. There was an unusual amount of street noise from "merrymakers" well into the night and until dawn; not really something the hotel can control but something potential guests should be aware of. The breakfast buffet is the only feature that gets a bad review. Food choices were limited and unappealing, except for the bread, and the least appealing buffet of all my other hotel stays.

This was the fourth year we were staying at the hotel. We booked a suite for 8 nights and expected to be given the same suite as previous years. Disappointed to be put in an inferior suite considering we were staying for 8 nights

I would visit the Atlantico Marina again, I found the staff helpful and the location magnificent.

The Breakfast had so many choices, and the variety of the many coffees was very appealing. All members of staff were attentive to our needs. We did not have to wait for tables to be cleared, as there were many servers who catered to our needs. The view was magnificent and eating early in the morning, set your day.

Nothing could have been better. Excellent Team Work from the staff.

Central location

We booked an executive room that didn’t look so executive …it was pretty basic and old looking, same appearance for the hall Staff was not so responsive, we called several times the reception at night but no replies, so we had to go to the main floor to ask information We had a balcony but the view wasn’t great, unfortunately it was also really loud Finally, we had breakfast in our room but we weren’t impressed with the variety of food options
