Spa und Schwimmbad sind fantastisch.

Lived the facilities, views, and our room was very spacious.

I didn’t like how there was no bathrobes or slippers at our rooms but it wasn’t a big deal.

Nice hotel , nice facilities but wouldn't stay again.

Overall the hotel was nice and the food at breakfast was nice too. The pool in the hotel was also nice. The bedrooms were nice. The majority of staff were really nice. The girls at reception were very nice.

It was quite expensive for what you pay for, didn't see the value of it. The hotel is lot further out from kinsale then we thought, but it's grand once you have a car. The one thing that really didn't like was the doors of the bedrooms in the hotel. The doors are extremely heavy and actually nearly got my finger/hand stuck on the first day coming into the room, cause the door was so heavy. So anyone staying in the room with children just be careful opening the doors.

Last minute stayover with my daughter, lovely location and very nice grounds and vistas

Well appointed room, very clean, various lighting sockets etc., view on to waterfall feature and greenery Had dinner in the restaurant and it was very good as were the desserts, attentive and polite staff, beautiful views from the restaurant and landing area

De stilte en rust... heerlijk geslapen. Slaapkamer zelf was sfeer- en stijlvol ingericht.

Badkamer veroudererd en niet proper. Handdoeken roken naar frietvet. De spa is ook verouderd. Geen streaming mogelijk naar tv. Ontbijt was lekker maar basis. In vergelijking mer andere 4 sterrenhotels en in die prijsklasse hebben we al veel beter gehad en is dit teleurstellend.

Lovely place with great SPA and nice people

Great SPA facilities, lovely staff and big rooms with a comfortable bed and amazing view!

Room was a little 'oldish', carpet & bathroom, only thing to mention if being picky :)

Très bon hôtel

Chambre spacieuse avec une belle vue, de quoi se balader dans l'hôtel, et le restaurant est excellent avec du personnel agréable !

Un peu de vis a vis dans les chambres et l'insonorisation quand on est en bout de couloir...

Great place to stay in Kinsale

Super clean rooms. The staff were pleasant. Lovely location and scenery. Ten minutes by car to Kinsale Town.

The breakfast needs improvement. Not that it's a self service buffet, everywhere does that now. Just more care, and quality food. But I expect that everywhere in fairness. Hospitality sectors are still recovering after the last few years.

Couldn't recommend this hotel any more, truly exceptional

The staff are exceptional, they really do go above and beyond - incredibly professional and attentive - have never seen anything like it - by far the best hotel staff I've ever come across The view from the restaurant is amazing, the seats are very comfortable, and the food for both breakfast and dinner was perfect - couldn't fault any of it Overall just such a relaxed environment, it's a real luxury staying here - I stayed here 4 months ago and before I'd left I had already booked in again - I don't usually go back to the same place twice because I like to try new things - but I'll definitely be back here again

I found the staff friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable

I didn't like the breakfast the service was poor, tables were dirty and the selection for breakfast was poor The bread was stale and cheap..... I was told on my second morning I'd have to wait for a table 5 or 10mins so I sat at the high stooled table and there were plenty of tables free but no one cleaning them..

Peaceful and stunning scenery

Relaxing and friendly staff. Lovely pool and spa area. Was nice to chill out at the pool before breakfast. Breakfast perfect excellent selection Lovely grounds

Hotel not quite all ok. Almost there.

Magnificent views from bar/dining room.

Poor service at evening meal. Main course returned. Duck so tough could not be cut. Maitre d said he was able to cut it with a sharper knife !! Put into disabled room without comment/explanation.

relaxing retreat

lovely place. grounds have trails to water. food great. staff all great. it’s a bit out of kinsale so once we were in we were in.

it was very nice but so warm. they brought us a fan. perfect

Could become a chic place with a bit of renovation

Remote and quiet. Staff was very nice and friendly. Food at the restaurant was also tasty.

Quite in a need of a cosmetic touch ups. Curtains broken, carpet had iron burn stains, shower door not closing, tables were sticky, wallpapers peeled. There was also a damp smell in the room. So all these issues could be fixed with a renovation.

Perfect to plug out of the matrix and enjoy views of the river Bandon.

The room was good value for money. It's a beautiful setting with great views for the river Bandon. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located too far outside of Kinsale to walk and they do not provide a shuttle. A taxi is needed to go anywhere.
