The staff at the Ramada Plaza provided a genuinely warm and welcoming atmosphere, making us feel right at home. Our room offered breathtaking views of both the sea and the pool, enhancing our overall experience.
The meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, were quite basic. I did appreciate that the salad was prepared fresh each morning; however, I noticed that leftovers from breakfast were often repurposed for lunch and dinner.

I’ve stayed at the Ramada hotel in different locations before hence why I booked this one. However the quality of the hotel wasn’t amazing like the others. The room I booked was dirty and had to change my room

Not worth the value of the money! Just pleasant ☺️
Most of tunisia hotels are highly priced and not worth the money value as the services and customer service isn't up to the standards!

I am a hard working guy and my job requires too much physical effort. This property took all of my tiredness.
I can not say that i did not like about it but most of the staff speaks Arabic and French. When it comes to speak with them it is hard to understand that they do understand or not.
They are so gentle and they push themselves to help you even they do not understand you. But at least they can say that they do not understand and direct you to the staff who really able to speak english.
Even i can not speak english very well. Lastly, again, this is not a thing that i did not like it.

I enjoyed the sunny balcony and the view from the balcony. The outdoor pool was lovely and the lifeguards were friendly. The bed was huge and comfortable. All of the staff were pleasant and spoke to me when passing in the corridor. The A/C was great and kept the room at an ambient temperature.
The evening meal was cold unless you went to the dining room at 7pm. The soup was cold, the chicken, potatoes and fish were cold. The waiters were very obliging and heated up my soup. The brochettes were cold and tough as they had sat for a couple of hours before I got there. They need to switch on the Bain-Marie.
One of the days I was there the key card didn’t work so I had to call security to let me into my room, many times, most inconvenient. The lady at reception told me it was a wi-fi problem and was affecting everyone.
The hall light in my room did not work and so I messed up my safe code numbers and had to call security again. The guy said he’d send an electrician to change the light bulb but no-one ever appeared.
The beach path and the beach area was a disaster. It was strewn with the remnants of an old building. A beach bar maybe? There was the incomplete start of a new building, but it’s a bit late for this summer season. Best to give the beach a miss.

We stayed at the Ramada Plaza in Gammarth from the 3rd until the 5th of May and did not have a great time.
First when we arrived late in the evening, the air in the room was really hot and heavy ; we realised later the AC was not working in the room. As a result, it’s 27ºC during the night. So we decided to open the windows : we got bitten by mosquitoes all night long. When we kindly informed the staff we had no working AC in the room, they first said they will send someone to fix it. We waited all day and nobody showed up. After asking for a 3rd time, we were informed the AC hasn’t been working in the whole hotel for multiple days, and that they thought maybe it will be fixed by the end of the MONTH.
That’s the kind of thing you would want to be informed before checking in.
They refused to lower the price of the room and it wasn’t possible to get us another room more far away from the pool area (hoping there would be less mosquitoes).
Literally we had to choose between the mosquitoes or > 27°C in the room, in a result we barely slept during the two nights we spent there.
The staff was never friendly nor trying to help. It seems like they were speaking really few English or French. Communication was really complicated, every time we came to talk to them about an issue, they acted like they didn’t care and all they could say was “there’s nothing we can do to help”.
There were no beach facilities, no beach area, no beach beds, no bar nor restaurant near the beach. There was no accommodation where you could stay at the beach ; you have to sit on the sand with your towel. We asked and there was no way we could order some drinks or food at the beach.
The toilet door in the room was not closing as well, it was impossible to have intimacy as the toilet was directly in the hallway. Food quality at the buffet was really low, no fresh fruits during breakfast, very limited menu for room service.
It kind of felt like the entire place was falling apart and nobody cares.

Staff very very helpful, smiling and happy to help.
Very comfy, with good food.
Honestly nothing to worry about, but as you asked for something that i didn't like, forget the window open at night, so i woke up with an army of mosquito as the hotel is in the middle of the nature, beach in the front and a lake in the back with a side small forest.

Very nice Hotel.. I would stay here again

The people on the restaurant where very nice.
It feels abandoned, like half of the restaurants, spa, Hamman are close.

After a long argument with one of the receptionists where voices raised, the hotel manager came and calmed the situation finally but we'd have appreciated sparing the hour trying to find a solution and avoiding the worst experience I had at any hotel at all.
The reception should have accepted quickly to cancel the reservation as we were obviously unhappy instead of forcing us paying an unjustified supplement and pretending they have no sway over the booking.
There is no doubts that the receptionist doesn't care about the client's feedbacks and I should have been alarmed by the bad reviews and notation the hotel already had before selecting it.
At our arrival at the hotel we were told that our reservation was for just one person while through the process of booking only the type of the room was chosen by me and not the number of guests. There were no options.
The reception demanded that we add a supplement which for me was not convincing given that the hotel was already pricey and very remote and the taxi costs 10€ at least to get to or from that area.
I suggested that they cancel the reservation but they refused and said that it should be done by me through Booking and the hotel has no hand on this. While obviously they had the possibility to let me go but as they knew my booking was non-refundable they kept demanding the supplement, which would have brought the night fee to 100€ for a hotel that has nothing from what you'd expect from a Wyndham hotel : old, empty, very basic food, the beach has no installations, in the room they use the cheapest blue light bulbs..
You should also be aware that in this hotel guests are not allowed. As I was leaving just few hours after the check in for an early flight, I was refused the solution to make the room officially for my sister and that I just spend few hours till I leave.
