Breakfast area was nicely organized and bright with lots of room and even outdoor tables. Food was excellent with a lot of varieties, including international and local food.

I recently stayed at this Hilton in Tunis, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in recent years. The facilities are clearly outdated, and the entire place had an unpleasant odor that lingered throughout our stay. The air conditioning in our room didn’t work properly, leaving it unbearably hot and uncomfortable. We were expecting a premium experience, especially given the price point, but it was far from that.
The food prices were shockingly high—easily four times the local rate, which felt completely unjustified given the poor quality of the facilities and service. Additionally, the hotel was almost empty, yet many of the hallways were dark and not well-lit, creating an eerie atmosphere rather than a welcoming one.
For such an expensive option in Tunis, we expected a well-maintained, comfortable environment, but this hotel missed the mark entirely. There are numerous other options in Tunis that offer much better quality and value for money. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel if you’re looking for a pleasant stay. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

Rooms were a good size and clean.
We booked 2 triple rooms and were told when we got there late at night that we didn’t specify in our booking under additional notes that we needed an extra bed in each room. This was a surprise as I’ve booked other hotel rooms the same way, 3 adults in a room and usually when we check in there is an extra bed set up in the room. For a 5 star hotel this is a significant oversight and the receptionist initially refused to accept they should provide the extra beds. They also didn’t have any available. However after 15 mins they said they would bring 2 beds. We waited over an hour and long past midnight until a few porters kindly brought 2 beds (I suspect they had to take beds out of another room as they were not fold-out beds). Although it was an oversight, this would not have been an issue if resolved quickly, however it took some discussion to get a resolution, which was unnecessary and unfortunately left a bad impression of the hotel.

I like that the transport which was booked was actually waiting for us and the driving was safe. I also enjoyed the pool area. I enjoyed the executive lounge and the facilities offered for my Bonvoy status.
This is more scathing.
Firstly i was not welcomed as a bonvoy member or even acknowledged and it took several attempts to get my account rewards added. I did not enjoy the chaos at check in it took far far too long and i feel this should have been sorted mostly prior to my arrival. I did not enjoy that despite given an arrival time the rooms were still not ready. I really really really did not enjoy that the AC in room 550 did not work & the toilet was constantly running all night so the sleep was dreadful (i slept better on the Aircraft in economy). I did not enjoy the room 555 the AC did not work either. I did not enjoy the overly priced buffet dinner which then charged me for water to drink. I did not enjoy the whole 48 minute check out process where the bill was wrong and the transport was not charged. I did not enjoy that when i notified the front desk about the issues it was turned on me that it was my fault for not sorting it at 2am. There was no apology offered. I will not be booking in the Sheraton again. I will however stay in the Marriott which is much nicer
