Perfect place to stay for running the marathon in every sense

Location perfect for running g in the marathon and the hotel went extra miles fir participants with past buffet night ore race and after race drinks and snacks Very impressed

It was super expensive but I guess that’s location at the Brandenburg Fats pkys it was the Berlin marathon so demand extremely high

Τα πάντα ήταν τέλεια. Ευγενέστατο το προσωπικό, πλούσιο το πρωινό, πεντακάθαρο και ευρύχωρο το δωμάτιο, κεντρική θέση στη πόλη με γρήγορη και άνετη πρόσβαση σε πολλά αξιοθέατα. Παρότι είχα έρθει πρωτίστως για επαγγελματικούς λόγους, πέρασα υπέροχα. Πράγματι το ιστορικό αυτό ξενοδοχείο αξίζει και με το παραπάνω τα 5 αστέρια του.

Berlin with class

The hotel has the old world charm of a classic building with modern amenities. It occupies a prestigious location overlooking the Brandenburg Gate and close to many shopping areas and restaurants. At check-in I asked to be upgraded to a deluxe room, which was luckily available over looking one of the inner courtyards. The room is spacious and has all the modern amenities but the decor is a bit dated and can benefit from an update. The bed and pillows are comfortable and the bathroom is spacious but the flow is a bit weird. The room came with breakfast which was served in the first floor with seating arrangements in multiple locations some overlooking gardens and others overlooking the Brandenburg Gate. The food quality is good and the service level was excellent. Of particular note is Ibrahim and Phillip who went out of their way to make our breakfast experience, but one has to ask and sometimes insist on sitting on a particular as the host sometimes appear to want to sit you in any table and claim that the other is occupied. Always ask a waiter and most probably they will accommodate your request. Part of the breakfast rooms double as the two Michelin star restaurant, Lorenz Adlon Esszimmer ,a very nice dining experience indeed. Also there is the Brasserie Quarré, which also served superb dishes. On days where the weather is good they have a beautiful outdoor seating area. The concierge was very helpful in booking us a very nice family owned Italian restaurant ( Il Punto) with in walking distance from the hotel. Generally speaking almost all the hotel staff that I interacted with were extremely welcoming and helpful.

There isn’t much I did not like in this hotel, except to mention that the public toilets in the basement needed and better cleaning service. And the rooms can benefit from an upgrade but the hotel did mention that they are working on upgrading the rooms and sample rooms are being worked on during our stay. So hopefully next time we can see the upgrade mentioned.

Exquisite service, majestic

The property itself is majestic. Soft marble, high ceilings and exquisite service. Perfection is the only word to describe it. The immaculate details in the presentation of the room and the attention given to each guest in the breakfast buffet went above and beyond. Everything is perfectly executed and without a hint of arrogance that sometimes is present in establishment of this quality. Every guest is made to feel at home. The kindness they showed my five-year-old daughter was heartwarming. I’ll be staying here again.

Will not stay at your hotel again

Historic building and location

The hotel was full and the staff was not enough for full occupancy. This is unacceptable. A hotel like Kempinski should be prepared with hiring extra staff. I couldn’t reach room service, there was no answer and I had to go down to the reception. The explanation I got was that some staff called in sick, we are sorry. The next day guest relations came to me ana apologized and asked what they could offer for company. I told them that I am leaving that day, will not stay 2 more nights even though I paid for three nights. I asked them that they could give me an airport transfer but the young man said that he didn’t know if he can offer that as it is costly. Well, you have lost a client. Which is more costly? I don’t mind paying the taxi but I wish the hotel could do better trying to compensate the failure of the room service. I am in the hotel business, we have luxury hotels so I know what I am talking about.

Ein paar schöne und angenehme Urlaubstage im Adlon: da darf es auch mal etwas mehr kosten!

Die Junior-Suite im 6. Stock mit Blick auf Unter den Linden: Brandenburger Tor / Reichstag etc. Die Einrichtung war dem Preis entsprechend gut.

Das Essen im Restaurant / Brasseri Carrée war eher enttäuschend; die Qualität der Mahlzeiten war "below par".

Hermoso hotel muy bien ubicado

La ubicación del hotel es excelente, el edificio es una belleza. El trato del personal de la recepción es, en la mayoría de los casos, de primera.

La primera habitación que me asignaron estaba en el anexo del hotel con un acceso regular y esto no se explicaba en las características de la habitación, me quejé y me cambiaron a otra que no servía el aire acondicionado, finalmente me dieron una preciosa suite con excelente vista por una noche, y dado que era de un precio mucho mayor, me cambiaron de nuevo para las dos siguientes noches a una excelente habitación en el complejo principal del hotel y con un aire acondicionado que si funcionaba. El trato del personal fue muy bueno, el tiempo invertido en los cambios fue largo.

Tolles Hotel mit einem außergewöhnlichen Service in einer besonderen Lage

Ein außergewöhnlicher Service - immer freundlich und hilfsbereit, aber nie aufdringlich! Gleichzeitig eine tolle Atmosphäre mit einem leckerem, umfangreichen Frühstück und einer absolut ansprechenden Bar - jedes Getränk wurde eindrucksvoll serviert :) Essen in der Brasserie ebenfalls top. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Ein großes Kompliment an das Adlon-Team - wir waren bei der Buchung erst ein bisschen verhalten, haben aber bereits mehrere Empfehlungen ausgesprochen. Weiter so!

Schade, dass wir den Spa-Bereich nicht nutzen konnten ...

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt - wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben.

Es passte einfach alles - Hotel: sehr geschmackvoll ausgestattet, auch die "Kleinigkeiten" liebevoll berücksichtigt, Räume: dezent gestaltet, alles aufeinander abgestimmt, Bad mit Badewanne und Dusche, Frühstück: sehr umfangreiches Büffet, Personal: sehr hilfreich, höflich, aber nicht aufdringlich - es passte einfach alles.

die Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert es war einfach nur warm im Zimmer! kein Bügeleisen und Bügel Brett im Zimmer. Dazu ist das Hotel wie ein Labyrinth habe um die 10 Minuten mein Zimmer gesucht hätte mir eine bessere Aufklärung gewünscht. Ein early Check in war nur möglich in dem man ein Upgrade Zimmer bucht.. im Großen und Ganzen bin ich enttäuscht. was mir aber sehr gut gefallen hat war der Concierge Service der Rest aber nicht. Achja und für ein ladegerät welches normaler Weise 20 Euro kostet an der reception verlangt man 50 Euro. ich komme nicht wieder.

Das allerschönste Hotel in Berlin!

Wir übernachten, wenn wir in Berlin sind, immer im Adlon, weil wir uns nicht vorstellen können, dass es in der Stadt noch ein schöneres Hotel geben könnte. Für unsere Bedürfnisse ist es aus folgenden Gründen perfekt: Zunächst einmal ist die Lage direkt am Brandenburger Tor unschlagbar. Zum Tiergarten, Regierungsviertel, Dom, Nikolaiviertel und Gendarmenmarkt ist es nur ein Katzensprung - und wenn man nicht laufen möchte, könnte man die U-Bahn nehmen. Eine Station befindet sich direkt vor dem Hotel. Oder man fährt mit der Rikscha. Das ist ein großes, nicht allzu teures Vergnügen. Ein Riesenspaß ist es zum Beispiel, nach einer Show im Friedrichstadt-Palast („Falling in Love“ ist superklasse!) statt mit dem Taxi mit einer Rikscha zurück zum Hotel zu fahren. Die Rikschas sind bequem und kitschig-schön gestaltet: mit bunten Lichterketten und Musik. Meine 82jährige Mama hat gejauchzt vor Glück - das ist unbezahlbar! Aber zurück zu den Vorzügen des Adlons. Die Zimmer absolut ruhig, großzügig geschnitten und sehr komfortabel. Die Betten sind hervorragend - wir haben ganz prima geschlafen. Zudem gefällt mir die Konzeption des Badezimmers mit der tollen Regendusche und der vom restlichen Bad abgetrennten Toilette. Des Weiteren mögen wir die Lobbybar mit dem Elefantenbrunnen sehr. Wir genießen es, nach unserer Ankunft dort traditionell mit einem Cocktail auf unsere Berlinreise anzustoßen, verbringen aber während unseres Aufenthalts immer mal wieder Zeit dort. Sensationell sind neben den Cocktails zum Beispiel die sehr leckere Currywurst mit Goldstaub oder der Cappuccino mit einem Brandenburger Tor aus Kakao nebst köstlichen Kuchenkreationen. Außergewöhnlich ist außerdem das Frühstücksbuffet, das alles zu bieten hat, was das Herz begehren könnte - selbst Buletten mit Kartoffelsalat, Currywurst, Kalten Hund, Weißwürste mit bilderbuchhübschen Brezn, Champagner und Kaviar kann man bekommen.

Notre endroit de prédilection à Berlin

Son emplacement est top et à quelques pas du métro. À travers le monde mais aussi de tous les Kempinski, il a le meilleur petit déjeuner que l’on puisse trouver aussi bien en terme de choix que qualitativement.

Der Name hält, was er verspricht!!

Exzellentes Frühstücksbüffet, bei dem bis zum Schluß "nachgelegt" wird, d.h. auch 15min vor Ende sind noch sämtliche Variationen vorhanden. Personal jederzeit superfreundlich und extrem hilfsbereit!!
