fast elevator , always available
a lot to tell:
▪︎ the pool is could
▪︎ the rooms are old
▪︎ the sheets not clean
▪︎ the baby bed is broken,
▪︎ the breakfast decent
●● the balcony is very dangerous.. the wood is too old, not safe for kids
●● the staff are annoying, they keep calling me while I am sleeping and they wake the kid
■■■ they didn't allow me to bring any kind of food
■■■ they didn't have all the diet options (gluten-free, vegan... )

We recently stayed at the Mövenpick Resort & Residences Aqaba. Overall, this hotel is the perfect escape for anyone looking to unwind by die beach, enjoy luxurious accommodation and indulge in a fantastic breakfast to start the day.

I loved the hotel pools and beach is wonderful,
The beds and pillows was great comfortable as usual.
Over all it was great.
the beach ambrellas it does not protect from the sun so you don't feel that you're sitting in the shadow it's summer now and it's super hot in aqaba so you need a well covered ambrellas.
Another point is the beach restaurant I know it's out side area but even though it need an AC I couldn't dine in it it was terribly hot I couldn't breath .eventually I went back to my room ordered room service.
I wish that you could improve the food quality I know we're in low season ... but in high prices the guest deserves a better quality.

If you are a beach and sun lover than this hotel is for you. I enjoyed the beach area the most and the view.
All staff are friendly and helpful. Big thanks to Haneen at the reception, Ahmad at the beach bar, Rowena at the Palm restaurant and Chef Mohamed for making me feel like at home.
Hotel has great potential but needs renovation. Rooms are old and outdated, furniture in restaurants is old.
Food quality is ok but can be improved
Housekeeping is ok but can be better

This property was like a haven in Aqaba. The ambience is just perfect. The pools are lovely, with a great Jacuzzi. Beach is fantastic! Ice cream was a highlight with some great restaurants.
They upgraded us to a Suite which made our stay extra special.
Nothing at all! The best choice for Aqaba

Nothing is nice in this place, the experience at Movenpick was really really bad and terrible.
Everything is below standards, the staff is very rude and no minimum requirements of service available, I wish I did not go and lost my money for nothing. if in my hand I would give rate below zero

Very friendly staff, very helpful, most of them speak Arabic.
The food at dinner time didn't taste fresh.

Location, rooms, staff, breakfast, free and easy parking- this hotel ticks all the boxes. a special mention to Shams at the front desk and Gede who was on charge of our rooms. We got upgraded to a suite, which made our two night stay really comfortable.
Some inside facing rooms may be experiencing some disturbance from loud music playing in the hotel. Our rooms faced out and were quiet. Otherwise there is really no negatives I can think of with this property.

We got our room upgraded which was a bonus. but I’m sure the room we booked would have also been wonderful. breakfast had an amazing selection. beach was clean and pools were lovely. staff were kind

Super friendly staff all around.
The location is very central.
It is very close to Ayla, which were we end up spending time at.
In all my past visits to Aqaba, I have always chosen the Movenpick, and only because of that I chose it again this time, but unfortunately it was way below my expectation. While the staff were super friendly unfortunately the breakfast was way below average, for a 5 stars resort, the quality was below average, same option throughout the whole stay of 5 days, the taste was very poor, many options "ran out" just after an hour of opening the buffet and the service was poor. the hotel was packed but that should not impact the service, food quantity or the taste and flavor!

Shams at the reception was amazing, he ended up upgrading us into a suite with sea view for no EXTRA CHARGE.
Everything was 5 stars and we had a great experience
The indoor Jacuzzi didn't work

Room was nice but make sure you stay in the building close to tge beach.
Very busy place. Awful and crowded breakfast . Super expensive and not good meals. Try to avoid the restaurants at all. Understaffed - too many managers doing "nothing" and not enought "hands" working. Not clean. Noisy ! Maybe 20 years ago it was The place to be. Now it is just an overpriced experience. We moved to other hotel in the area - much better !

great location, maintenance required to some accessories in the room.
maintenance, food was good but nothing special

Welcoming, room upgrade, position, breakfast
I appreciated everything

the bad was comfy, great breakfast, very clean, pool and beach area very pleasant and spacious, did not feel crowded at all even though hotel was full
on the first day when we arrived, it was hot and the air con did not work on the public areas and in the rooms. it was on air cool/fan. when we asked, we were given different reasons by different people while it was simply not put on for cost savings. there is nearly no water sport available on site. you have to pay more and travel to the south beach (20 min) for the full day.
4.5
One of the best hotel breakfasts ever. Very helpful staff. Excellent combination of city and beach. Nice poolside area. Great that there was a shuttle to the sister hotel/ resort (it could be better advertised, now we had to ask if there was one).
The gym was pretty basic and ok, but could use an upgrade/facelift compared to the rest of the hotel. I didn’t get an answer from the hotel to some requests made before checking in.

We received a free room upgrade for a suite with balcony and living room. The rooms are a little outdated and used, but very comfy and nice view. The bathroom is a little small, but it is ok. Downtown Aqaba is directly in front of the hotel with restaurants and shops.
The beach was also very nice.
The breakfast was kind of stressful. We were there on a Saturday, so it was very busy and we did not get any coffee mugs or coffee until we were almost ready. Also a lot of stuff was empty and some people grabbed the bread with their bare hands. We were glad when we left because it was not relaxing at all to fight for the food.

It's alright but for the price, I expected more. The swimming pools and beach were nice as were the staff.
The buffet breakfast and the buffet dinner were extremely disappointing. Everything for dinner was dry, the salmon, the chicken, even the desserts! Absolutely avoid the buffet dinner! I was looking forward to a massage but their massage therapist had left the hotel. I was told minibar is included in the room rate - no alcohol in the minibar. Room service was slow. I checked into a room and there was no bodywash or shampoo. Looks pretty, but for a 5star hotel, this place needs some work desperately!
5.0
The cleanliness, security, facilities, everything really. The location is very good. You can walk to all the restaurants and shops.
4.5
Friendly staff, good food. Nice location
Provide 2 bottles of water daily instead of 1 since Aqaba is a hot place. Better clean the balcony area and furniture in balcony of bird droppings. Find a solution to keep birds off balcony areas. Use table signs in buffet to indicate if the person is done with the table or will return after getting more food. It’s very annoying when staff cleans your table and gives it to other people
4.5
The hotel is very nice and comfortable in an excellent location. The staff around the facility were very nice. The breakfast was varied, and everything we ate was of great quality.
The rooms could use some upgrades and repairs. Most power outlets in our room were broken, including those in which lamps were plugged in. There were no USB outlets. The phones didn't connect to the services they said they did, reception didn't always answer the phone, and when we tried the WhatsApp, they responded two hours later ... by which point we were asleep!!! We didn't have any way of asking not to be disturbed, and the channing staff walked into our room at 8AM ON A SATURDAY!! while all relatively small things, the price of the room and any service in the hotel is anything but small...
