Wir haben uns im Hotel Scalzi sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen bei passender Gelegnheit gerne wieder

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Sowohl Hauptbahnhof als auch die Innenstadt von Verona sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar, insbesondere Piazza Bra / Arena. Der Empfang im Hotel war überaus freundlich. Wir konnten für einen Kurztrip nach Rom unsere Fahrräder im Hof stehen lassen. Ein gutes Frühstück wird bei schönem Wetter in einem netten Innenhof serviert.

Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Die Lage war für uns perfekt - nicht weit ins Zentrum und auch der Bahnhof war zu Fuß bequem zu erreichen. Das Hotel in einem alten Palazzo ist sehr charmant.

Leider war mir die Matratze zu hart und beim Frühstück haben wir das Gemüse etwas vermisst.

Ein super kleines und schönes Hotel , nicht weit zur Innenstadt und auch gut gelegen zum Bahnhof, aber das Frühstück kön

Die Unterkunft war super , die Zimmer sauber und das Personal sehr nett .

Das einzige Manko war das Frühstück , es war sehr einfach und kaum eine Auswahl ,es fehlte an Obst und Gemüse und für einen Vegetarier gab es kaum eine alternative.

Все было так прекрасно! Я путешествовала одна, это было очень безопасно. Сам номер очень чистый, со свежим ремонтом, все как на фото. Завтрак в красивом дворе, тихий спокойный. От вокзала в 10 минутах и в 10 минутах от центра.

В номере не везде был хороший WiFi. Но это не повлияло на мое впечатление

Basic and a bit dated. Good location.

Location is great. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good, with gluten-free options and a decent variety of teas/infusions.

The pictures show the best rooms I presume, given that our room was quite gloomy and dated even though it was quiet and had the window over the garden. The hotel is only 2 stars but I find it a tad pricey for what you actually get. The buillding is old but I think it needs a good overall refurishment and update of services. Shower had no door and there was a weird smell coming out of the bathroom sink and bidet.

A Very Quaint Place

Great Location 15mins walk to Train Station 10mins to Arena Piazza Bra 5mins to nearby Restaurants Cafes Shops. Hotel Character Chic & Historical Verona Style. Quiet Street. We stayed in Peaceful Garden Room. Loved the exposed stone 👌Clean with good housekeeping. All Staff were welcoming most helpful. Carla at breakfast attentive efficient and cheerful. Latte Machiatos at breakfast.

Breakfast we found to be simple, food good but choice and replenishment could be improved upon.. Bed was uncomfortable.

Lovely hotel - good location

Excellent location - close to station and only 10-15 minute walk to the centre. Wonderful room very spacious. Lovely breakfast - could sit inside or outside in a nice courtyard. Staff very friendly and helpful - let us borrow cushions to take to the opera!

There is nothing we did not like - highly recommend

Not 2* Boutique

The courtyard for breakfast

Our room was not boutique, clearly only 2* if offered room A8 and the next block don't accept it. I'm not sure what the decor was. Wardrobe in a large room with a nasty brown couch with 2 side table more out of an office and the wall was from a jumgle scene. . Shower was off a corridor to room, Bed not comfortable with 4 flat pillows and questionable decor. Clearly no Italian features in A8. After complaining we got shown other room and they were lovely, they tried to compare what we had with what we should of had. The room was an upgrade really don't see how, our error was to complain after 3 nights so never got far just an offer of a bottle of wine when checking out. I booked hotel because of the reviews. I'll stick with my minimum of 4* going forward.

Comfortable and convenient stay within easy walking distance ti the train station and city centre.

The location, helpful and friendly staff. Rooms cleaned daily. Good selection for a continental breakfast with good coffee.

interesting old hotel, comfortable, great location but staff could use some training.

Staff was not particularly helpful. No greeting when we got there. Had to ask for a map and recommendation which most hotels do automatically. Our room was directly above breakfast area. Breakfast started at 7:30 and it woke us up both mornings of our stay

Had a lovely long weekend here in December 22. The hotel is on the edge of the centre and about 20 mins walk to the old town. Lots of stuff going on within a short distance and the staff went out of their way to make our stay a happy one. Breakfast was a bit basic, but maybe not a bad thing after over indulging at sone of the great eateries in the town.

would stay again in a much larger, well appointed room as location and staff are excellent

the location and staff were superb.

unfortunately my single room left a lot to be desired. in passing other rooms (when staff were cleaning) they were beautiful and well appointed. the smallness of my room, no comfortable chair and lack of nicely appointed bed was a disappointment, bigger room i'm sure would be better. also no elevator could be a problem for some. breakfast was good if you got there early, diminished offerings very quickly. also charge for a second cappuccino.
