The hotel was very clean, good facilities and the bed was very comfortable. Nice sized rooms. Location for us was good as we had a car, not sure how it would be without a car.

The staff were lovely. Breakfast was good and the beds comfortable. The view from our room was remarkable. Town centre is a good 30-40 minutes walk but the bus network in Iceland is brilliant.
The room was very hot and thankfully there were fans but still had to have the balcony door open. I think it was just extra warm summer days during our visit. Because of 24 hour daylight, there could be better block out blinds for sleeping.

First room we had was spacious and really nice. When we returned after our tour though the room was smaller and more cramped for a twin.
Just be warned there's a smell in the bathroom- the geothermal hot water- nothing wrong but be aware of it

Staff can really use a retraining, I feel like hospitality and customer service has gone so far out the door

Very clean, modern rooms. Friendly staff. The location was great, around 20 min walk from city center. They changed the towels and cleaned the room daily. We had a very comfortable stay.

Lovely art deco hotel brought up to modern standards whilst retaining the subtle details and architecture as intended.
The staff were all super helpful and friendly, the breakfast spread was exceptional and i think the whole package overall represented good value for money.

Very good breakfast, very spacious rooms, free and ample parking places, nice restaurant, clean.
No air condition but we did not miss it actually.

Staff friendly, good mattresses
General decor quite dated. Some windows cracked. Very poor television reception and wifi.

The staff are very kind and profesional.
The noise some days at 7 am, it seems that it was coming from the cleaners.

Lovely hotel

We stayed two times. Once before our tour, and again after. The first time, as the hotel was booked out, and we have booked an additional night, we were upgraded to a very spacious room, with a separate living area and large bathroom, and a great view. The second time we were in a standard room, with a view of the carpark. Staff were very attentive. Breakfast was great.
The hotel seems expensive considering it's a 30+ minute walk into the centre. The shower/bath we had in the large room was a bit difficult to get in and out of (and we're pretty agile).

Staff was amazing, friendly and very helpful. Food was exceptional. Prices were average.
Breakfast was good but could have used a mix of things. It was the same stuff every day. Pancake or waffle stations would have been good.
