Toller Aufenthalt im Herzen der Stadt

Das Apartment liegt zentral, bietet einen tollen Ausblick und ist komplett ausgestattet. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, man kann frühstücken mit Toaster und Nespresso-Maschine und abends auch mal was kochen. Der Kühlschrank ist geräumig und es gibt ausreichend Geschirr, Gläser und Besteck. Um die Ecke sind auch Lebensmittel-Geschäfte sowie Restaurants, Bars, Souvenir-Läden etc. Von dem Lärm, welcher oft bemängelt wird, bekommt man ganz oben nicht viel mit. Tipp: Ich benutze schon seit Jahren auf Reisen immer Ohrstöpsel. Self-Check-in hat problemlos geklappt, Personal haben wir gar nicht gesehen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Central apartments, nice design & spacious.

Location is on one of the main streets. Beds were comfortable. Apartment was spacious. Very hot water on demand. Supply of towels, teabags, coffee pods etc. There is an ice machine downstairs near the entrance. Keypad entry for main door and apartment door. Communication was good. Host sent someone round to look at microwave and brought a new toaster.

The bath plug hole was really dirty with another guests hair when we arrived. We had to clean it out! The noise from the live bands downstairs was on every night from 8-11pm. A playlist continued after. It did disturb our sleep. Ear plugs were available downstairs. The apartment that booking showed us when we initially booked was not the apartment we were given. On arrival toaster & microwave did not work and we were not informed about this. No oven but microwave was a combi but it didn't work or heat up. Loose light fittings in bathroom. Smell from the Icelandic water was a bit foul. There was a notice on the wall about it. You need to run the water off a bit. But it smelled like bad drains and was quite strong.

the best location for downtown walks

Excellent location for walks around the city and take the bus for tours. The room was very spacious and well decorated. the view breathtaking. there was no noise eventhough it is a busy street.

The view was gorgeous!! And a good location

The bath jets didn't work the hot tub on the terrace was broken some lights were hanging out the ceiling had a stove but no oven just little nit picky things

Fallegt útsýni frá efstu hæð (mikil partýlæti um helgar), vélræn þjónusta.

Útsýnið og íbúðin var flott en kuldaleg.

Starfsfólkið, vélrænt andrúmsloft. Hentar kannski erlendum ferðamönnum en ég myndi ráða öðrum Íslendingum frá því að gista þarna.

Apart from the service issues quite a nice quirky apartment.

Location very good. Easy to get around from there.

Lights in the bathroom didn't work properly. No soap in the bathroom. There was no obvious way to report the issue. It was difficult to eliminate the street noise.

Perfect location for exploring Reykyvik and great spot for basing for day trips. The Bookstore Band

LOCATION! Value. We did have a bit of a problem with code for the exterior door to the building, but so did so many other visitors. I think they may have been having a problem with system. But, we were always able to get in within 4-6 minutes.

beds were a bit soft and saggy near the head/back area and given I have had 3 back surgeries in last 12 months, it did make things a bit painful.

Excelente estadia

Apartamento excelente com localização privilegiada e espaçoso. Tudo fica perto dele em Reykjavik, restaurantes, mercados, festas. Estava tudo limpo e organizado.

Great option, very big areas and central!

The apartment was very big and well decorated. Kitchen well equiped and big screen TV. Very good option right in the center of Reykjavik.

One of the downsides of being in a central street was that it had all the bars open late and Friday and Saturday night was very loud with drunk people on the streets until 5-6 AM. The windows in the apartment were also a bit fragile and let cold pass through, but with the heating all was good and the Room was very warm and cozy :)

Definitely not recommended for anyone with normal hearing who wants to fall asleep peacefully before the midnight. but g

The room is big, equipped with a hot tub, and with enough kitchen equipment for two people to have a light meal.

it is beside a live music bar. it was really really noisy during the Friday night. you can hear people’s laughing and speaking very frequently even after 1am.

Infuriating shower, good location, clean.

Good location, easy and comfortable check in, large room. Well equipped kitchen.

Extremely weak shower water pressure. Inconsistent water temperatures. Small bedroom area, even though the entire room is large.

Large and clean. Could do with some better kitchen supplies…like a kettle. But was spacious and worked well for a family of four.

Next to the street so very loud, especially as it was the annual Reykjavik festival the next day.

This is a lovely hotel, right in the centre of Reykjavik. The staff were fanstastic and so helpful.

Very simple and clear instructions before arrival, alternative collection opportunities for out of hours arrival times, amazingly helpful and pleasant staff.

Exceptional

We loved our bright, spacious studio apartment. It had everything we needed for a stay in downtown Reykjavik, including a large hot tub. The building is quite secure and the staff are lovely. I will stay there as often as I'm in Reykjavik!

Right in downtown and clean.

It was very clean, staff nice, and in town

The noise from the surrounding business was absolutely insane. The blasting music lasted till 0400. And with there not being AC the windows had to be open so it made it worse. I wish there was a warning about this before booking or ear plugs gifted in the room for use.

Do not go unless you intend on partying all night

Room was awesome, spacious and with quality furniture. Located on the most touristy street. Bed extremely comfortable.

Located near two Irish pubs!!! Extremely noisy all through the night where people from the pubs hang out outside and scream, sing and party. Even with the windows closed and ear plugs, we were kept up until 4 am.

Central location, but very noisy

Apartment was very “tired”. No modern facilities, no espresso machine, no dishwasher, lightbulbs missing in lamps. Kitchen equipment dirty. Faulty tap in kitchen sink. Guests should be warned about the late night LIVE music on the ground floor. Overall should not be branded “luxury”. This is misleading.

The room was exceptional. It was a large apartment perfect for my family in the city center. It was a short walk to the harbor and great restaurants.

Perfect location in the heart of Reykjavik

Location is perfect in the middle of Reykjavik's main street. Walking distance to everywhere. Sauna was actually steam bath but quite ok. We were planning to enjoy jacuzzi but it was soooo windy that we decided not. Breakfast was better than expected.

Location!! rooms are good size! easy check in and out

Excellent location. Great facilities with payable parking close by. Close to necessary amenities. The rooms were good size, well equipped with everything we needed for our stay

A lot of music/noise on Friday and Saturday night from a bar next door. Not a big deal though, one can expect this when staying in the centre of town :)

Great location. Close to many sites, shops, and places to eat. Very nice place to stay.

Nearby nighttime entertain played loud music to the early morning hours on Friday and Saturday night. Drain in tub was very slow. Had to slam the door to close it.

Well located for bars and restaurants. Clean and tidy.

The staff here were very helpful and friendly. We had booked a studio apartment, but on arrival we were upgraded due to a double booking. The room we got was a humongous suite with a kitchen, dining room and bedroom areas . It was very clean and well equipped. So if you’re after a quiet night away, probably not your best option. But if your going to be out and about and want to be amongst it all, it’s a great hotel. They also have a jacuzzi and saunas, we didn’t have time to use them, unfortunately. The hotel is on one of Reykjaviks main streets so you are really well based to enjoy the bars and restaurants of the city, and within walking distance of a lot of attractions. When we come back to Reykjavik, we would definitely look at staying here again.

We had an early morning flight to catch and so my partner and I hoped to catch a little afternoon nap, however the loud banging from the service lift door used to access the apartment, unfortunately put a stop to that. (At night, this was used a lot less and wasn’t so much of a problem). You can hear the busy nightlife at the weekend but because the hotel is in such a good location, it’s just one of those things.
