Breakfast team were rude!

Room was clean.

We had our wedding at Wadhurst castle so we booked a room for the night (arrived at 11:30pm and checked out at 12:00pm). I had my family stay there 2 nights before our wedding and the night of the wedding. Our room was all inclusive and the price they advertised over the phone and in booking.com for breakfast wasn’t the actual price we paid. They told me over the phone I can just buy the breakfast for the same price when we get there but instead of £11 they charged my family £17.95. Our room was inclusive and already upgraded (paid for by ourselves). The lady at the breakfast door shouted, because we were newly Wed we are getting a free breakfast and our family has to pay the rate (£17.95) she was rude or overworked I’m not sure but we didn’t experience a nice morning after our wedding. If I’m paying all inclusive price for our room I don’t like to be shouted out “we are giving that for free”.

It was ok, breakfast was not included. Staff were unhelpful boarding rude when I made a booking mistake, which put me off going again

Location to hospital

Currently staying ay your hotel in Tonbridge. Very poor. First room smelt awful. It smelt like drains. They sent a staff memeber who poured something down the drain and said that there was a contining problem with this room. Was offered another room which had no desk in it for me to work at and so was “upgraded” to another which had a desk but no chair!! Lugged the chair from original room down the stairs to my “upgraded”Only upgrade i can see are slippers and a gown. I choose this hotel because my aunt has cancer and is in hospital next door. This has added to my stress hugely and the smell made me feel sick during the night. I asked to speak to the “manager” who looked as though he was dressed for a day on the beach! As i say very poor

Excellent value. Great staff. Pleasantly surprised. Could't have asked for more

All excellent. I had some dictation to do and did not want to to do it in a public area, so arrangements were made to allow me to use and unused conference room. Thank you

Not that it was on offer, so no compalint! unfortunatley your pool was closed.

You can park easily .. close to A21

Dated.. the bathroom was very old with cracked tiles, mold on the grouting. A travel lodge would have been cleaner and more modern and less money.

Beyond expectations

The reception staff, especially Vikktoria, was very friendly and helpful. The dining staff was courteous and attentive. The room was comfy and there were treats as well. Only issue we have is the shower curtain....that has to changed to possibly a glass one.

Excellent!

Very friendly staff. The restaurant serves alright food. The hotel is away from the city centre, it was convenient to eat in the restaurant. There was a bar lounge with enough drinks to enjoy and relax. The room was standard but had enough space, didn't feel cramped. All the basic amenities were provided. Welcome drink and chocate on arrival felt great!

Good value for money, if looking for a friendly hotel near the Hospital

The atmosphere was very relaxed - all staff members were so friendly & helpful. Evening food menu is varied & I had delicious dinners both days - huge portions. Buffet breakfast was good too.

Best hotel experience I have had in a very long time. Highly recommend!

The hotel was situated right next to the hospital which was the reason for our trip. The rooms are spacious and clean. Comfortable beds, the staff are something out of this world... nothing was too much and they did everything they could to make our visit stress free and comfortable. I would go as far as saying that the staff make this hotel what it is and are exceptional at what they do. Friendly, kind and caring. From reception to the house keeping staff. They should all be commended for what they do. Amazing!!!!!!

staff helpful

No swimming pool as advertised. Arrived early to use. Cobwebs in bathroom. Water outlet in basin black with gunge, did not use. Breakfast not very hot.

I wouldn't come to this hotel by choice!

Sonny was the only good thing about this place! He was a very helpful young man!

The toilet in my room didn't flush very well, the iron leaked all over the place. Some of the staff just had attitudes. The buffet was a joke for £17! There was no lifts.

Great place!

Lovely settings, the staff well what can I say they were all so friendly and helpful a credit to the hotel! From receptionist to bar staff, house keeping and wedding organisers all fantastic. Breakfast had a great selection enough for everyone and all coming out fresh! Lovely food! It was very peaceful outside perfect to just sit and relax. Room was a great size with a very nice bathroom with a bath and shower (with good flow) Lovely touches in the bedroom on arrival. Lovely hotel I would recommend to family and friends

The only thing for me was the bed was a little hard for my liking but that is down to my personal preference.
