Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr freundliches Personal. Rezeption 24h besetzt. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem sehr interessanten historischen Gebäude mit einer tollen Atmosphäre.
Gar nichts

The owners have gone to a great deal of trouble/cost to preserve the original character and features of the property - yes, it's "old fashioned" but that's the point! The room I had was quiet and the bed very comfortable. Would visit again.
I felt breakfast should really be included in the price; perhaps it is if you book direct rather than through another site? A slightly more challenging WiFi code would also help it's security!

Venue was lovely, a bit out of an Agatha Christie novel. The building itself was quite grand and the grounds were well maintained and attractive. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. the rooms were serviced daily to a good standard.
The table cloths in the conservatory for breakfast would have been nicer if they had been linen instead of plastic.

The continental breakfast was inedible.

Lovely location with stinning viewsA decent hotel but not living up over Swanage. Good breakfast.
Communal areas lacked atmosphere. No catering apart from breakfast. Nothing to do on a very wet evening.

View was spectacular. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom clean and spacious. Location good. Breakfast very tasty. Beautiful building and the gardens were a treat.
The lack of a lift for the luggage or ourselves to the 2nd floor was a daily torture which left us both feeling unwell. Coupled with the extreme heat that week resulted in our holiday being marred.
I understand that the property is a listed building - hence any type of lift being a non starter.

Lovely old building with some history attached in perfect location.
Relace shower curtains with fixed screens and provide netting to keep bugs out when windows are open at night. The hotel was too classy for shower curtains!

Breakfast was great in a lovely conservatory, although a little warm due to all the glass. Room was great, with a nice sea view. Location close to town and parking on site. Staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much effort, really felt like a family run Hotel where they all cared about the clients.
Nothing really

Really beautiful hotel on set on beautiful gardens. Great location for the train station, local shops, and restaurants. Complete peace & quiet.
The bed was very solid, not a very comfortable mattress, and the room was very warm, even with a fan.

The building it's was was beautiful, it looked like a castle. The breakfast was delicious with fresh eggs from the ladies chickens. The staff were well friendly.
My bed was very squeaky but comfortable

The location to Swanage town is fantastic, car parking brilliant, the hotel has a genuine family house feel, the conservatory out back has a good breakfast area, looking out to the well kept garden.
