Nothing
- paper thin walls, room too small, noisy

Great location, great views
The breakfast for 34 dollars was awful. Cold eggs bad food selection and you could only get a black coffee. Highly not worth it

Perfect Location, breathtaking views, large balcony, large spacious 2 bedroom apartment, lovely warm fireplace!
All good !
3.9
the size of the apartment, the cleanliness and luxury of the room and the lovely receptionists
it would be nice to have had just one elevator for the whole complex instead of having to get in two seperate elevators to get on the 8th floor

The view and location were fantastic. Staff (in particular Lana) were great.
Coffee machine kept leaking but no big deal.

Good location not far from town and an easy walk. Beautiful views of the lake and mountains and the unit was spacious and homely, which suited a place like Queenstown.
Staff could be a little more tentative like you would get with a Peppers in Australia and the cleaning staff were a little hit and miss, but this is me being picky

You can see the waterfront from the moment you wake up. The 3 bedroom villa is amazingly spacious, with multiple bathrooms and a really big dining table, kitchen and lounge. The electric fireplace is really very nice as well.
Their disabled parking is not available because there were some garbage around it, which is disappointing for my mother who needs the space. Also the underground ceiling / parking is too low. It hit our rental van.

Excellent views and very close to downtown area.
Beds are uncomfortable and too soft. Very thin walls , you can hear anything from next room.

The apartment was spacious with a spectacular view of the lake . Water pressure in showers was great and the gas fireplace was very grand. Beds had the warmest doonas which made it very cosy. Great amenities in the kitchen. Location was great with a short walk into Queenstown.
One of the bedrooms had a cavity that enclosed tjr
Next door’s apartments staircase. Caution is required here as I hit my hit a few times and walked into it in the night after retiring from the toilet . Bathroom timber cabinets showed sign of water damage and the grout in the showers was mouldy . The carpet in the Lou ve room had a warp in it making it a Trip hazard .

Peppers has always been a fovorite of ours since the Apartments are comfortable, self contained and have a lovely view of Lake Wakatipu. On this occasion I made a mistake in the booking and we ended up in a hotel room - nothing wrong with the hotel room but wasn'e 'our usual'. The reception staff went out of their way to work out a solution that resulted in us ending up in an apartment with all the attributes that we cherish. The reception went above and beyond!
The upgrades on the lifts seems to be taking a long time. They were working on it in October 23 when we were there and the process was still ongoing 6 months later

We love Peppers Beacon and are return guests. The view is amazing and the 2 bedroom apartment feels like a home away from home.
The breakfast is limited with no views

The location, this is why we chose this place
We had room 206, which we paid almost $4,000 for 5 nights
1. The first bedroom (just near entry) shower needs to be looked at by a plumber. We were there for five days and I had two showers per day and I did not have a constant hot shower the whole time. It took ages for the hot water to come through then it was quickly change to freezing and then boiling hot then warm then cold again.
2. Bedrooms were too hot and we tried to turn off but it was still really hot, perhaps a fan would have given us more comfort.
3. The breakfast is high come
With the room was the same selection every day, we ended up going down the street for something different
4. The garbage disposal stinks
5. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and you would think it would come with free parking considering we paid a lot for the room.
6. No spa or sauna. A spa or sauna would go nicely on the terra e where you walk through for breakfast.

Good location, very spacious, cooking facilities, parking
Very dusty, hadn’t been cleaned properly, rubbish under the bed from previous people, had cold shower one morning

Warmly room with brilliant mountain and lake view
Couldn't stay more days

The view was amazing.
The beds were super comfortable.
Clean and staff were lovely.
I didn’t like the furniture in the living area, couch and chairs were so old, worn and dated and really uncomfortable for a family unit.
Our only gripe.

Room- small & cramped- photos are misleading
The room is not great value for money spent

Nice well-furnished 3-BR apartment with views of the lake and the Remarkables mountain range from our Balcony. Very close to downtown only 3 mins walk. They discounted our daily parking so effectively we just paid one day out of two days due to a miscommunication. Liked that Private Covered Parking was available for us Motorcyclists on tour (with charge)!
Cleanliness could be better. I know we just came out of Pandemic and have staff shortages, but one out of two of our 3-BR apartments looks like it hasn't been cleaned well (there was a musty smell upon entering) and there were thick layers of dust on a lot of surfaces (lamps in bed and bathrooms of the inner rooms), vents, washer, dryers. Maybe we were the first to use that apartment this 2023 season. The resulting dusty condition and dry air of Queenstown triggered a few allergic rhinitis among us, compared to our friends in the other unit.

The room had a great veiw and was clean and tidy
We could here a rodent in the wall cavity when we arrived , so we told reception I don't know what they did about it.

Great Location, nice sheltered courtyard outside room. Nice and quiet.
No milk in fridge, Breakfast quality and selections were very poor, along with windowless dining room. No egg selections apart from the ubique powder scrambled egg, machine coffee very average, lack of other selections,e.g. fruit, yoghurt etc.
Hotel not very clean, particularly in entry areas to garage. Tired feel in rooms, carpet torn in hallway, posing a trip hazard. Facilities need a major facelift.
3.9
Lovely and tidy property close to town. Garden unit was very quiet. Comfortable bed, great pillows.

The view from the balcony across to the Remarkables was stunning. The apartment was well appointed with everything needed and accommodated four people very comfortably. Staff were helpful throughout.
Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment, Quality of the hot breakfast was very poor with little choice. The continental breakfast options wewre better but still limited in quantity.

Stunning view over Lake Wakatipu
Quiet and spacious
Close to Queenstown City - no car needed
quiet expensive (you definitely pay for the view)

not much the place was filthy and there was no milk
everything the place was a shambles

we have loved staying at peppers on our trips to Queenstown
great the breakfast facility was open this time
Definitely noticed the staff shortage unfortunately.
had to request room to be cleaned-beds daily and fresh towels.
was 7pm one night this service was done
had to request milk, and dishwasher liquid 10 mins after we arrived as these obviously had not been topped up from the previous room clean.
peppers however is a lovely property, very quiet and so comfortable for a family stay. definitely our first choice always
