Ótima localização.

O Hostel é muito limpo, todos os dias organizavam o quarto. Os atendentes todos muito gentis, o Valentim que é brasileiro nos deu várias dicas como lugar para câmbio e transportes. A localização é ótima, tem um mercado 24 na esquina e um metro do outro lado da avenida, menos de 5mim.

Excelente localização, ladinho do metrô. Muito limpo e organizado. Espaço amplo e individual para guardar as malas e colaboradores extremamente simpáticos e receptivos.

Péssimo/não vale a pena

O café da manhã é bem simples, mas estava ok.

As fotos da estadia não condizem com a realidade. O lugar é bastante mal cuidado, tem um cheiro forte de mofo/sujeira; e a cama estava velha e com aparência suja. O preço que aparece no booking não é o que realmente cobram (pedem aprox. 25% a mais para cartão débito/crédito e em pesos chilenos - bem a mais do que os 19% que a lei chilena instrui). Não tem ar-condicionado ou ventilador (e no calor é bem complicado). Os funcionários são confusos e quando sinalizamos que queríamos sair, questionaram muito e parecia que nós estávamos incomodando. Vimos pessoas reclamando do valor cobrado também (que estava fora da realidade comparando a outros hostel da cidade) e de desorganização (pessoas dormindo na cama uma das outras e os funcionários não fazendo nada). O valor dessa acomodação é o mesmo de alguns outros hotéis melhores (com quartos limpos, ar, café da manhã e segurança), não vale a pena. Ficamos apenas 2 noites e mudamos para um hotel de fato (que cobrou praticamente o mesmo valor e sem taxas adicionais no cartão - pagamos o que apareceu no booking).

Buena experiencia

La amabilidad del personal, las instalaciones buenas, es fácil de llegar por la cercanía a una estación de subterráneo. Instalaciones cómodas, es práctico el autoservicio en la cocina para el desayuno, seguro.

Un poco el ruido en las camas (hablo de mi experiencia con la habitación compartida) y del exterior. Tener en cuenta ubicaciones de comida cerca en caso de que necesite algo de comer en la noche

Lovely stay

Really helpful staff. Good location. Nice large room and private bathroom. Breakfast was included as well as a pesto pasta night which was really nice and social

Excelente lugar para ir en pareja

La comodidad de la cama fue espectacular para dormir en pareja. Es un lugar bastante aseado y nos dieron toalla. Pudimos guardar las maletas luego del check-out lo que fue genial para poder recorrer la ciudad. Queda muy cerca del metro y de markets.

No volveré

La limpieza de la habitación. Dormí una noche y a la mañana siguiente amanecí un un sarpullido terrible que me duró por semanas. No volveré a ir. Además, el baño tenía un mal olor que venia de la alcantarilla y al abrir la puerta la pieza quedaba con este olor.

Nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Echter "Hostelcharm", was mittlerweile selten wird. An einigen Abenden kleine Aktionen für die Gäste, z.B. pisco Sour gratis. Man lernt sich dann kennen. Frühstücksbuffet, wo man so viel bekommt wie man mag. Günstige Unterkunft nahe der Metro.

Das Zimmer könnte mal renoviert werden. Bad abgenutzt (aber ist auch günstig wie gesagt). Leider kein gratis Trinkwasser. Generell also in Ordnung, aber kein Highlight. Nette Leute, allerdings bekommt man von jedem Mitarbeiter immer andere Auskünfte, z.B. zu den Kosten der Wäsche (8 Dollar für Wäsche finde ich echt viel).

Recomendo!!!!

Os funcionários do Hostel são ótimos! Destaco o Álvaro, o Valentim ( tem duas que não me recordo o nome mas as via na limpeza e café quase todos os dias) e as voluntárias Corengia, Eva e oliwia... O café da manhã é ótimo é farto ( só de ter ovos e café já me ganharam). O Hostel é grande, bonito e bem localizado. Vale observar que fiquei num quarto só pra mulheres e o máximo que tivemos no quarto de 6 camas, foi 4 meninas comigo ( tínhamos banheiro no quarto, mas independente disso os demais banheiros eram ok)

A água demora pra esquentar.

Overall I wouldn’t stay here if you want sleep. It’s very noisy (not from people partying) just talking and floor boards

The noise People checking in at all hours and the sounds travels through the entire place. Someone above me walking around till 2am and the floor boards are squeaky No sleep was had Need darker curtains as the light at night shines into the room

No Power outlets in room 5 so I needed to use restroom outlets for charging devices! Probably Sheets and bed stuff are not changed for the next guest. I didn't see any linen changes after my roommates left. Seemed they just made the bed without changing linen! New Bed Stuff should be handed for new guests so we would be sure it's really clean.

Perfect stay in Santiago!

It was so clean, amazing breakfast in the morning, a ton of common space, in a great neighborhood and I was able to easily meet a ton of new people :)

Very good

Clean, comfortable and very friendly staff. They put on events to encourage you to socialise and meet new people. The breakfast was good and I believe the hostel is in a good area of Santiago. You are able to ask the staff about activities going on in the city.

Exceptional

staff all very friendly eggs fruits in the breakfast kitchen very clean and spacious the common area with sofa very comfortable especially if you need to stay late after checkout the design of the new building, bed very comfortable, everyday I slept very well!!! safe location, and very close to the subway, 3 min walk, it’s very important for me because I sprained my ankle couldn’t walk too much.

Worth a one night stay

High ceilings in the room keep it from being too hot in the room. Hot showers were nice. Breakfast was nice, though you have to make your own eggs (and wash the pan). Wifi was decent.

Despite being on a quiet street, the hostel/hotel/bar across the street had loud guests which we could hear all night in our dorm. The bunk beds are the flimsy metal ones that make an insane amount of noise every time you roll over. A bit far from everything.

Great place to stay in Santiago

The hostel has a nice vibe. The building is beautiful and well preserved. The room I stayed in was comfortable and clean as all the other common areas. Breakfast time was well organized and an excellent opportunity to start conversation with other guests since we can share tables. Location is also perfect, very close to Salvador Metro Station.

Close to the metro station, neighborhood is nice and safe and bed was comfy. Breakfast was nice.

Our bathroom smelled awful, they apparently tried to fix it but not with much success. In general the bathroom was not in great shape and the water pressure was quite bad in the shower. Staff members weren't overly friendly.

Buyer beware

At least the cleaning staff was kind.

Somewhat of a scam since they charge the 19% VAT whether or not you’re a Chilean resident, the only way to get around it is to prove otherwise AND pay with USD. To make things worse, some of the front desk staff give misinformation. The private small room is truly small, about the size of my last 3-star hotel’s bathroom, and no elevators so it’ll be a workout if you happen to be at the top floor. Definitely not recommended.

It was ok

I met very nice people... It is very close to the shops and metro

I paid more to be in a room with beds (not bunk beds), but when I got there there were only bunk beds... Other people in my room also paid for regular beds... If there are no regular beds available, don't lie to people or charge more for what you cannot offer.
