It was our first time using an onsen, and a fabulous experience. Although the English instructions were hard to understand, they were good enough to complete the job. We opted for the buffet dinner and breakfast. It was simple but excellent.
The hotel is a bit old but comfortable and gets the job done. It has all the creature comforts one needs but nothing fancy. There was nothing we didn't like about the hotel.
3.7
The onsen wasn't as luxurious as we thought it would be, but we had a good time. Bath was big and hot, with outside and inside variants. I definitely recommend the outside bath on floor 7 on the north building. Hotel even had karaoke rooms and some arcade and crane machines on floor B1. Food was all-you-can eat for both breakfast and dinner, which was really good and plentiful.
The room was definitely cramped for 9 Westerners. Room only had one bathroom for the nine of us. Most of the staff could barely speak English, fortunately we had two members with medium-level Japanese skills. If your party is 5 or over, definitely book two rooms.

The staff at the reception were neither friendly nor helpful. We were asked to have our dinner at 5:30 when we returned to the hotel at 5:20 on the second day and the reception simply refused to make any rearrangement.
3.7
The location, ambience, onsen, yukata and selection of food at buffet. We love the smoothies and soft ice cream, yummy 👍
There was no porter service, we had to push the trolley with our heavy luggage ourselves. We would suggest better quality of green tea bags be made available at the lobby of the hotel.

This hotel has amazing buffets, for both dinner and breakfast. There was a large variety of delicious foods, and was very satisfying. It can get crowded though, so the staff made the recommendation to go during less popular timings.
The room was a lot bigger than we were expecting too, and very comfortable. There was even free snacks provided on the tatami table, and those were tasty.
It was quite far from the main attractions in Noboribetsu, and the buses from the JR station doesn't reach here as often as the main bus terminal. It's quite a walk to/fro the main attractions, but very doable without luggages.
The toilet didn't seem very new, but I guess it doesn't matter if you actively use the onsens instead.

moderate location with parking space in public area. big facility. good mineral water for bath.
unimpressive food-both dinner and breakfast. old room and facility. blocked view room. staff have no service mind.

Onsen was amazing. Everything about this place was fantastic. We loved the buffet dinner and breakfast.
We liked everything!

This was our 3rd time staying here. The price is reasonable and onsen was nice.
The hotel is getting really old. As we walked towards our room from the elevator, it felt kind of creepy. The lightings were dim, the doors of the rooms are metal doors although it has some floral prints on them. The decor does not give a warm and cosy vibe.

Everything
And mostly the free bus from Sapporo
The time for dinner a bit too early (5:30)

Decent service, nice room, & awesome breakfast/dinner buffet!

The onsen

The Hotel is walking distance from one of the trails to Jigokudane Valley. The room was nice. Breakfast and dinner were buffet style with good quality and options. Free car parking in front of the hotel. The onsen was really nice.

loved the food and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
mold in both onsens. bathroom in our room smelt of old urine. mold on roof in dining area.
3.7
Onsen, buffet meals
Staff cannot speak/understand english.
Food menu are repetitive. We stayed 2 nights and breakfast and dinner menu are the same on both days.

my room ….
the meal plan choice of 2 Restraunt’s
could not use 1 Restraunt even tho my reservation specifically said Sakura Bo AND Kura!!!!
I was furious the 2nd night
1st night was great but the 2nd day & night was all down hill
course dinner with buffet but no true buffet.
I was still hungry 😡😡😡😡
also the hot springs were warm not hot hot
and the rotten burrow had snow falling in so that was Luke warm
horrible night the 2nd night
booking needs to confirm and make darn sure the booking for relaxation room comes with 2 choices of dining
the regular buffet would have been better than what I got the 2nd night!
I was only allowed to eat in the 1 Restraunt
they would not let me choose the other for my 2nd nite
very very dissatisfied!!!

The dinner buffet was amazing, spoiled for choice. And it is possible to book a private bath for the full family.
