It had a nice cozy feel. Good room size
Rather cold - the radiator in the room didn’t work and we had to borrow a heater. The lighting along the corridor to our room wasn’t working. Bedside lamp on one side of the bed not working.

Really great room, excellent value for money located in a friendly rural pub
4.1
The location was perfect for our needs.
The restaurant was absolutely hopeless. There wasn’t enough staff had to wait an hour and a half from my food, and when I asked about it was told they were very busy even though the other two people on my table had had their food and had finished it by the time I received mine. I was told that I should’ve booked even though I was resident in the hotel and other people had to be served before me which made no sense at all. As the other two gets on my table had already had their food. Unfortunately breakfast was no better, no cutlery, no cups et cetera et cetera. Another of my guests had a leak in the room from the bathroom above, which apparently has been a known issue.
Some of the staff are really nice, but others were just rude and grumpy . Really not a pleasant stay.

Great Pub atmosphere with good food
Room was small and hot, along with small shower. Room seems to take heat from a nearby boiler. This is not ideal in the summer.
4.1
Easy parking, room was nice. Central to where we wanted to be.

Very clean, very nicely furnished, lovely host who goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, fabulous breakfast facilities

Been working away from home for the last ten months and have spent approximately nine month of those at the 5 Bells.
Blazing fire has warmed me up over the cold winter months. The great Bar Staff (Sarah, Martina, Barbra, Finley, Harry, Louise ((mf)) and Abbey ((think its October)) have fed me beers with a smile until I want no more
Roll on Summer so I can sit in the beer garden
Great pub, great food, great people
4.1
really clean room and very comfortable
have stayed a few times so cleanliness etc up to standard
There were no eggs at breakfast - given the shop is 200 yards away this seemed really strange. Other guests were not happy about this

Location, clean bright room, shower room.
Staff where most unfriendly on arrival & when leaving.

Nice inn.
The extractor in the bathroom rattled all night kept me awake. Have stayed at the 5 bells before never had this problem.

Staff were exceptional. Went above and beyond to help.
Restaurant was very good
Room very comfortable
Staff. When I explained that breakfast was too late they prepared a special takeaway.

Beautiful little hotel...very welcoming with real fire . All staff very warm and friendly. Parking free and on site. Bed super comfy and the full English breakfast was fantastic.
Nothing...was fabulous.

Nice comfy room in middle of Weston turville ample parking
Room on 1st impressions was immaculate and decor very good . Unfortunately spending a bit of time in there you notice things . Wooden window frames rotted . Skirting boards in bad condition. But don’t be put off . Bed huge and comfortable

Comfy bed and clean room
Breakfast was poor. Room was noisy! There was an extractor fan running ALL night. We were told by staff it would go off by 9pm and that never happened so had a very poor sleep!

Dinning room was lovely and staff very friendly.
Breakfast area quite cramped and some fruit/ yoghurts /butter/marmalade would have been great to help yourself too.
4.1
Room was suitable for my needs which was an overnight stay in preparation for a work related job the next day
Passageway door banging as people came up from downstairs. The door could do with a soft closure mechanism to prevent it banging as people pass through

Stayed here many many times. I lived in the village once
Tiny upstairs room was intolerably hot.

The hotel had lovely decor and is well maintained. The staff are fabulous. Nothing is too much bother and they are very welcoming and friendly.
The rooms are just what you need. Very clean with sheets that are sparkling white. The beds are very comfy. The housekeeping staff are amazing and work really hard.
The full breakfast was to die for and the coffee was like being in Europe.
I loved my stay here and would highly recommend it. The prices are the best in the area for cheapness but a high standard of facilities.
The food is lovely in the day and evenings, and the locals flock to it for meals etc.
The whole vibe of the hotel, staff and locals is lovely.
I especially liked my morning bleathers with the breakfast manager and chef. 🤓

Friendly staff. Clean room. Good breakfast. Check out at 12.00 allowed for a morning's work on the computer.
Disappointing evening meal in the restaurant.
4.1
Good parking, attached to a pub restaurant for breakfast and to purchase evening meals. Food was plentiful and
reasonably priced, although service was slow....Comfortable bed.
The door to the accommodation block and Room 4 were very difficult to unlock. The door to the shower would not open, so I couldn't take a shower. As I was leaving the housekeeper said there was a knack to it and then proceeded to yank the door open, I could not do that for fear of breaking the hinge.. Watch out for the doorstop in the middle of the bathroom floor......
