The staff was really welcoming and friendly. I only stayed one night but everyone was really nice. There are activities almost everyday that you can join. I did bbq night which included a live act by a local artist. It a good hostel to meet people if you are traveling alone.
Didnt get to use the pool because it was raining.

In one word - Amazing!
The place was very clean, with outstanding kitchen.
The room was perfect for us, and there was hot water in the showers.
Each day there is a different activity that you can choose from.
The vibes were great, really good people and sean the owner was super kind and helped up with everything we needed.

Muchas gracias equipo!

Pancakes & fruit, tea & coffee 👌
Location was perfect, in excellent proximity to everywhere, but away from the noisy chaos on the main stretch.
Would have preferred the floor in the dorm to be cleaned daily. But it didn’t ruin my stay, that’s for sure.

Personal and kitchen was amazing. A magic place to stay! 🔮
There was one guy listening a lot to loud music and smoking weed in front of the dorm.

Everything in Sayulita is close, so is this place in relation to town and beach. The pool was inviting and clean. The restrooms and showers were clean.
The water pressure in one of the shower heads was not good.

The volunteers and the pool area
Cathy the manager. I was so sick in the middle of the night and rang the bell desk. It took her a while to come out and quickly angrily asked me if I knew what time it was. I told her I was very sick and needed to go to emergency. She said "there are no doctors here " and went back to bed! I found out later that there is a hospital down the road. She could have brought to herself some good liabilities. I do not feel her mental state is suitable for a humane environment. The volunteer girl told me there is an emergency hospital down the street. I checked out the day after.

The staff, mostly volunteers but also locals, kept the place really clean and up to snuff.
The price of accommodation -- it's not a hostel, really, when the cheapest room goes for $58 Canadian.

We stayed in one of the private rooms with shared bathroom. It was simple, but clean and bright. The balcony over the pool made it feel airy and spacious even though it was actually a pretty small room. The staff is always helpful and nice and the community vibe with the other travelers is great. Obviously it depends on who is staying there at the time, but most of the people I met were interesting and friendly and several I am still in contact with:) I was able to relax in, or by, the pool, find quiet corners to do yoga, sleep in when I wanted (with ear plugs) and party with the other guests when I wanted to, all at the same place. They do have 11pm quiet hours which I thought was perfect. Often there would be drinking and talking, sometimes even dancing, by the pool right up until 11. Then the partiers would go out on the town and the place would get really quiet for sleeping (besides the roosters, of course, but that's Mexico, they're everywhere).
The kitchen is pretty cramped. And the cookware is pretty old, like most hostels. And there is almost always someone in there cooking. But in a way, for me, that was the charm of it. You really get to know people when you are dancing around each other in the kitchen, sharing tips and recipes and taking about where you went that day, your favorite beaches, taco stands and hikes. For me it added to the strong community vibe at the amazing hostel. It felt very much like a family to me. But if you want to be isolated this isn't the place for you. This is place for community, connections and fun.

Great location with great staff. Special shout out to Cathy who was so helpful when I arrived not feeling the best. Also Ayaka who was a great person to have around always there to greet with a friendly smile. Certainly made a couple of difficult days health wise alot easier. Plus the beds are comfy and was a great place to meet people during my stay
Nothing apart from my bout of mexican belly.

Nice simple hostel not far from the town center. We didn't have much choice as we tend to book last minute, but this place did a great job of keeping us safe and rested. The rooms are basic, and ours were next to the bathroom, but that didn't really other us, we slept well and used most of the facilities
Showers need a refurb for sure, only one worked well, and you had the choice of a bit cold, and boiling hot.

Two of the girls who work there were nice. There's purified water.
Bugs in bed, NO AC, too expensive for that, bed sheets were not changed. Lazy cleaning methods-filth and things under my bed, room windows offer the only necessary ventilation of air and they both faced hang out areas with creepy guests who try to look in the room. My friend hated the room - that's another thing I didn't like so I had to listen to how lame the place was. The whole bathroom area was left filthy for almost 2 days. I don't think the old owners have a clue of how to run a business like this in 2022. Doing a few obvious things each day won't get it done and didn't. A few of the employees are nice so I stayed a few days longer and because I had a lot of belongings and was travel weary, but I would not stay there again. Plus it's a -rent a towel- establishment so you feel weird asking for new things after days of use and feel like you'll be charged for them somehow - maybe on your credit card. It's what I was thinking at the time. This whole U.S. prices in Mexico is total crap. Plus you pay 20% in taxes on that price. It sucks.

We have nothing negative to say here, the staff and place were great.

Great staff. Friendly people. I’m 57 and felt very welcome by everyone. Stayed in the female dorm. Everyone was respectful, no late night parties waking people up. Great experience. I’ll go back there for sure! Purrrrfect location a minute from the center and not even noisy!
Nothing!

Location and staff were great
Wifi rarely worked, our room had horrible ventilation, it was humid all the time inside. The beds were awful

Absolutely nothing.
The receptionist got to be the entitled owner coz I never experienced such a treatment in a hostel. Ive worked in many hostels and stayed in many others and it just don't matter if you're busy or tired we always find a way to deliver at least the minimum at the guest arrival.
Loud, very loud rooms with absurdly dumb lightning. Small, loud bathrooms.
Dirty pool, front gate bangs and wake everyone in the holster multiple times at night.
Living room with nothing in it.
That's what is waiting for you there.
