The apartment was wonderful, spacious, clean and well-equipped. Grounds are nice with big vegetable garden. Nelson and his family are super hosts, very helpful and sweet, their cat Gato is the cutest ever. Would definitely stay here again, no doubt!

The room where we stayed was spacious and clean. We also had a great roof terrace overlooking the garden. Our shared kitchen was well equipped and there were good facilities to wash and dry wetsuits. It’s about a 10 minute walk up the road to the central bars in Sagres but there are also some nice local restaurants nearby. The host was also easy going and flexible with our arrangements. Thanks

There was no breakfast.
The bedrooms smelt a little dusty.

Everything I needed was provided,
The bedroom was rather dusty, the bedspread made me sneeze a lot. I did not sleep well because of this. Perhaps the room was closed for winter and I was the first guest? The room needed to be aired, and seemed a little damp.

We had our own private veranda where we sat in the evenings, looking over the garden lined with palm trees, listening to the cicadas. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and own space in fridge. Location excellent.
It would have been better to have twin beds instead of double bed, as we were 2 sisters, but it was actually fine in the end. The bed was comfortable and big enough for both of us

- well located
- very friendly hosts
- bicycles for free use
- very clean!
- the mattress wasn’t comfortable for us (and too short unfortunately)

The owners, Nelson, his mom Maria & dad Antonio are the most welcoming & generous hosts. They made us feel at home straight away & made sure we have the most comfortable stay. They even shared their garden produce sans pesticide.
This property has 2 adjacent buildings. We stayed (end July) in one of the 3 bedrooms upstairs in one of the building. It has a common lounge & dining area, 2 shared bathrooms & a very well-equipped kitchen with all the necessities one need to make meals. There is also a spacious terrace where we dined alfresco & watched amazing sunsets on some days.
Our room has a comfortable double bed. Wifi is great. The common areas were cleaned everyday.
Although situated on the main street to Sagres town centre, it's located way back away from any traffic noise. It's very quiet & peaceful, with only the sound of the wind breeze. The private parking space inside the compound is a bonus. Intermarche supermarket is just 500metres away & there is a petrol station nearby with the cheapest petrol we ever bought in Portugal.
FYI: a car is definitely a must to enjoy the beauty of what Sagres has to offer. You'll be spoilt with choices of beautiful beach areas & spots to view sunsets.
What was intended to be a 1 night stay ended up being 4 nights. We hope to come back again.
We ♥️ everything.

The people were lovely.
Pleasant sitting outside on the balcony
Great sunset view from balcony
Good parking
Easy walk into town
BBQ available
Nice kitchen
We didn't want for anything
Be careful Walking up the steps to rooms 1-4. The coving sticks out at the top and you could catch your shoulder, painful.
They need a bigger pot plant at the top to move you out.

The family that runs the guesthouse is really nice. I booked a room with shared bathroom but they offered me one with private bath for the same price. Nice chicken, nice garden. Useful the place to clean wetsuits in the garden. Private parking.
Included hairdryer.
Not really in the center.

Really cool guest house. Very clean and comfortable and excellent facilities.
Shared kitchen was properly equipped with everything you need!
Really chilled, loved the bowl of garden grown tomatoes for communal use.
Only one thing - the shower head had no rest / hook to hold it up.
Cockerel woke up at 4-5am every morning.

It was super clean and the owners are so friendly and chill - totally recommend it!

It's very quiet at night.
The place/shower is a bit old but it's all clean and well mentained. Maybe it's because Sagres is such a tourist spot but the
price-quality ratio isn't that great. I had a lot better rooms for 15€ per night in Portugal and this one was 35€ per night :-(

Everything was there and the people are very helpful. It has a traditional style which at first I thought wouldn't be nice but I kind of liked it. It has a good vibe.
