Angenehmer Pool.
Der Abfluss im Zimmer hat sehr gerochen.

Small hotel in a beautiful location!
The rooms are cute, with lovely views to the sea. They have daily house keeping and our valet Nazimah left funny towel figures every morning.
The hotel does not have a beach, but it offers free boat rides to Ile aux Cerfs three times per day. There is also a great beach within 5 minute drive, so it was not a problem for us. The swimming pool and the amazing views were more than enough.
The food is good, part of the buffet remains the same, but at least 5 or 6 dishes vary on a daily basis. It’s not gourmet, but we were satisfied and I can happily say we ate well. Shout out to the honeymoon dinner; that’s a courtesy of the hotel and it was absolutely amazing!
The massages at the spa were also great.
There could be more activities after dinner. Music was very nice but it would have been awesome to have some more interactive options. Maybe movie nights? Or trivia contest?

The staff were all amazing and very much dedicated to guests comforts. Answered questions, booked excursions and generally very pleasant and kind. No fault to any of the staff on all levels. The dinner with a local Mauritian family was the highlight of the week. I highly recommend this fantastic experience where we were very well received. Had a feast for dinner, a dance and plenty of rum to make this even more festive. Would highly recommend and happy to pay more than was asked for. Thank you for that.
The food at times could have been a little bit more diverse with more local style food. It did get a little repetitive. Better variety over breakfast and lunch. However, the staff made up for everything. Eating with a Mauritian family one evening showed how diverse and delicious Mauritian food can be so it is a shame that the hotel doesn't offer more adventurous culinary experiences.

(end of march 2023) starting with the best things:
* The people, the personell, they are amazing. Super friendly, always there to help us out. If we would be able to give a 11/10, we would.
* They are almost a 100% ecofriendly, which makes it a great place to go and a safe place to go. Water was always included and taken from a special drinkwater tab. We got some waterbottles to fill. Which were a bit small but that’s ok. There is a shop on the premises. We bought some dried Mango’s and we loved them!! 😍 Everything is local and makes such a good impact.
* The room was extremely clean all the time, Nazimah left us beautiful towel-animals on the bed everyday. The room was very comfy. AC that we could set up to our wishes.
* The wifi was good on the whole premise.
* We did the free boattour to Ile aux Cerfs and took the BBQ on Ilot Mangenie all arranged by our skipper John. We were on Ile aux Cerfs from 9-14 and took the BBQ at Ilot Mangenie from 14-15:30. John was so flexible as we changed our timetable to what fitted us instead of the original and he had no issue with that at all. He was an amazing skipper and guide as he showed us around a bit when he dropped us off at Ilot Mangenie. I def recommend talking with the locals as they know the Island the best. Thank you, John, for this amazing experience and being an amazing skipper/guide!
Then the ‘ok’ things:
* We were right on the beach, however, you cannot easily swim there. You’ll need to walk around 500m on the beach further down to find a good swimming/snorkling spot.
* The boat docking that goes over the water was broken/is broken for a very long time. It doesn’t show on the pictures as the pics are very old.
The food (buffet at breakfast and dinner) is not what was expected for. Not as many options as you would wish for. The options that we did have, were not tasty. A lot of ‘carbs’ without veggies/meat/fish. E.g.: Pasta with some pure tomato sauce, no spices, nothing else. Just pasta and tomatopuree. Potato’s, baked. Plain rice or rice with some herbs,.. but not really options that go with these so you’d need to eat rice with potatos and pasta. 🥴 Also the curries that sometimes were offered were watery and not tasty at all. The local food we tried away from the hotel was definitely way better.
The breakfast had always the same 10 options which becomes very boring if you’d stay there for longer than 4-5 days. However, they offered freshly baked scrambled eggs with toppings of your choice! This was a highlight.
There is the (free) opportunity to dine at an in-hotel restaurant with amazing food that is open on four out of seven days a week, but you need to reservate your table in advance and the spots are often taken. This food was amazing though. You get 5 small platters and always have 2 options. Meat or fish (sometimes veggies).

Very nice hotel woth beautiful view. They have daily free trips to ile aux cerf and this is a great opportunity to explore the island. Very comfy bed and nice terrace.
We didn't like the breakfast which was very British. We would prefere something more local or bigger choice then beans, eggs, patatoes and sausage.

The staff were all friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good.
The room was pretty basic and I didn’t enjoy the constant thump of music by the pool. The salad I had at lunchtime was uninspiring and small.

Sunrise at the jetty, breakfast and the staff are exceptional! And the food is good.
You can walk into the small village, but there is not much to do there. The different bar tender are very different in quality of the drinks they serve.

Nice view from the room. Friendly staff. Perfect night shows.
If you have gluten sensitivity, do not chose this hotel. At breakfast/dinner foods marked inaccurate. Waitres said opposite information which food gluten free. A dinner we order gluten free soup, 2 minutes we got the soup with slice of bread on top of the soup.

It has been an amazing stay. We loved it from the moment we arrived and if we are back one day, we will be back to this lovely spot: cosy and comfortable rooms, tasty breakfast, free transfer to the Ils aux cerfs, animations in the evening and reasonable prices if you go by the menu and not all inclusive. plus we love the sun beds on the roof which are a blast - however an information should be written as there are not many spots, that guests should not leave they belongings to keep the spot as it was very hard to get one.
Although it will not change our high note of our stay the restaurant tapas was just ok, we excepted a better food experience especially when it comes ti the dessert part.

Staff were so friendly and helpful, all inclusive drinks were great and a wide selection. Really relaxed atmosphere and nice weekend away
Maybe some more entertainment/ leisure activities available would have been nice.

Great hotel which is eco conscious. The view is amazing, and so beautiful. The staff are helpful and accomodating. Wifi is great. Definitely met all my expectations.
I would specially like to thank the kitchen manager and staff who were very accomodating with our requests - my sister was fasting during our stay so we needed to swap a few things around.
I think there could be more variety / options for the a la carte menu.
